Lovely place to go out for a hike, run or bike. Entrance in Ropes Crossing is at Mainwaring St. Kangaroos everywhere. Follow the signs for Luxford trails for about 7 km where it brings you to Jordan Springs. You'll pass through 3 sets of gates meant to prevent wildlife getting out. Lots of side trails to explore.
Went for a drive here , drove around the perimeter on Palmyra rd couldnt find an entrance . Bit dissapointed will try again some other day . But its a large bush reserve and lots of wildlife , beware of snakes .Tried to get access inside today again th rtougj Ropes Crossing but could not find an entrance open .
A beautiful place with huge walking track, cold breeze and scenic views along side. No dogs allowed on the track but I saw people bringing their pets. :/ you can carry a waterbottle with you because there are no vending machines or shops

An old army base that is now a nature reserve with walking tracks and conservation zones. Toilet facilities available near the car park at Ropes Crossing or street parking in Jordan Springs.
