Imagine being told that you should've known better than to place an order for delivery from the business you placed the order with. After advising them their delivery of flowers on Valentine's day didn't arrive until 10PM, and after they lamented how busy a day it was for them, that's what I was told. No personal accountability. No offer to refund the exorbitant delivery charge. If it was out of there delivery range, why wouldn't they advise of that at the time of purchase? If they knew it would be a busy day, why would they not enlist more delivery staff or decline the request to deliver? When I went to the store to discuss the wholly illogical and vaguely insulting response I received, I was met with a stunningly inept staff member who was quick to advise me there was nothing she could do to help, and equally quick to reinforce her inability to do anything over and over and over again. This quickly deteriorated to a refusal to tell me when a manager would be available, to refusing to provide her name (for reference, the one with big, vapid eyes and a whiny voice) and asking me to leave or the police would be called. Awesome customer service given to a 15-year patron. This is the latest in a string of bad experiences over the last 5-6 years that I turned the other cheek toward, being a long-time fan of the store. It'll be my last. What was once a hidden gem of the city, and an absolute pleasure to do business with has deteriorated into a shockingly awful shopping experience each and every time the benefit of the doubt is extended. Deplorable customer service, tedious interactions with unhelpful staff, and a history of burning out any friendly/competent people they may fool into working for them. The management team until roughly 5-6 years ago was stellar! Now, this place is to be avoided at all costs. Such a shame.

UPDATE: see picture attached of 2 different bunches of eucalyptus ⤵️ Paid $15.82 with the small 3 stems from this store, Wilbe Bloomin. Only 6 days old. Paid $13.56 with much larger 9 stems from other store. Notice the significance difference of the quality & quantity of these 2 bunches, that's why this review is posted to alert other consumers. First time I was there to purchase a bunch with 3 stems was pretty good size, even it's kind of expensive but it was worth it & I don't mind to pay for it. The lady worked in the store was friendly & very helpful. I was very delighted to purchase the bunch & I wanted to return for my second purchase. Second time it was a man wearing a baseball cap was working. I noticed the bunch was much smaller so I was jokingly commented that the bunch is much smaller compared to last bunch. He said to me: " it's 3 stems, do u want it? " I was stunned with his blunt replied & felt very uncomfortable with his presence. I think he was being sarcastic & upset about my comment. He was polite enough to say thank you after I paid & the bunch was wrapped nicely with a sheet of wrapping paper & another waxed paper which I think was overly packed & very environmentally unfriendly. Anyway, no more purchase for me next time & I'll not return to this store. The inconsistency of the eucalyptus bunch & the attitude are not suitable for me but it might not bother to other people. Well, to each its own, right! But not for me. To whoever this male staff is: " TREAT YOU CUSTOMER THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED AS A CONSUMER. NO NEED TO BE SARCASTIC TOWARDS YOU CUSTOMER."

Couldn’t stand being inside for even a minute and would leave a no star if I could. I don’t know if the (white male) staff member I dealt with is the owner or what - but the 3 brief interactions with him were me being courteous and polite (despite waiting outside in a snow storm for the past 20m for them to open while visibly pregnant - I was excited to finally be able to check Wilbe out in person) and him being EXCEEDINGLY short and rude/aggressive. It started right off the bat; I was asked to move once, which I did immediately, then was responded to with a sassy (sassy indicates that this was cute though. It wasn’t.) “as soon I can move these out here, we’ll be” when I politely asked if they were open now. He only got increasingly hostile with each quick, impatient quip afterwards. Forget bad customer service; doesn’t even have basic courteous decency. The organization I was scoping out the location for can strike this florist from their prospects - they’ll be looking at other small local owners. Edited to add on: the owner’s response makes me think that the above man is either the owner, or has been given an employee account to make him seem favourable/reasonable. The condescending, aggressive, hostile and now dishonesty (outright lying to make yourself or this employee seem better) attitude seems to be a common theme amongst the less than 5-star reviews.

I was very disappointed with the service and product I received. I ordered a $44.00 cactus/succulent terrarium. I was told if it was being delivered, it had to be over $50.00. So I said “beef it up a bit”, thinking I would get a couple more plants for that extra $15.00, the next rate was $59.00. (The $44.00 photo shows 4 plants in the terrarium.) I asked if she could send me a photo of the finished product. She said they don’t offer that service and she would get in trouble if she did take a photo. I know why now, they only included one cactus and 2 succulents! It didn’t even have the amount they showed in their $44.00 photo on the website, which shows at least 4. I had to ask my friend to send me the photo. I think I paid extra for a couple of rocks. Also, they didn’t include my name anywhere so my friends didn’t know who sent it. My friends had to phone Widbe to find out. When people spend a total of more than $80.00, they should have better customer service. They also delivered the plant during the day without calling my friend. He wasn’t home until later in the evening. The plant was left between the screen door and the front door. In below zero temperatures, for several hours! I won’t be using this florist again.

Sad to say I had an extremely disappointing experience as many others have mentioned dealing with a specific staff member. The responses to the bad reviews are really disappointing to see as a small business owner myself. I went into this store to pickup some plants last minute for some planters I was working on, and was immediately greeted with unpleasantness and snarky responses. I do my very best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but if I'm going to spend money I expect to be treated at least with respect, the gentlemen behind the counter seemed to not care whatsoever for my business, especially when I pleasantly and respectfully asked him for his opinion and wether or not he would be getting certain plants in. All in all, I had a very unfortunate experience and will be taking my business elsewhere. I understand that sometimes people are going through things and we have no idea what's going on, but this was over the top. This man should not be client facing, I can't imagine how many more clients this shop is losing.

Tried ordering some flowers for a friend in the hospital so we put an order in before the store opened only to find out immediately that the ward our friend is in can't take flowers. So we called as soon as Wilbe opened to cancel the order since they would never be able to receive the flowers. We were treated poorly on the phone when they finally picked up, and they would not talk to us about the order only their refund policy. I understand they have their own policy, but like many others these days we have all been flexible with one another - not to mention our order was never processed so they did not incur any expenses. They refused to refund us and we will most certainly never call this place again. Horrible service, impossible to find return policy on their website by the way, and just down right bad people for taking money and not providing any products or service. Advising everyone we know to steer clear of this shady business.

Was happy with the shop at first, and then 15 mins later the wrapping fell apart!! On an expensive bouquet! Giving 2 stars and not 1 because the order was done efficiently (within 2 hours) and on time. The quality of the flowers was ok, they weren't fresh but they were assembled tastefully. the real chaos is the god awful wrapping job!!! Within 15 minutes of being picked up and gently laying in the car, the wrapping entirely came apart, the paper got soggy and gross and I had to strip all of it down and rush to the closest Longos to get them re-wrapped. What a nightmare! The stems were carelessly wrapped in wet paper towel and placed in a grocery store bag, with two pieces of wax paper around it as "wrapping". Definitely not a look for a bouquet that cost over 100$!!! I expected far higher quality in accordance with a premium price point. Absolutely disappointing and a waste of money. Would not recommend!

I had a disappointing experience at this shop. I was in the area looking for some flowers for a lost loved one and decided to visit this shop. While I was browsing, i decided to go on my phone and almost instantly the worker at the desk shouted at me in a hostile and aggressive manner telling me that no pictures are allowed to be taken in the shop. He then proceeded to stare me down. I can respect a no-picture policy, but I found it pretty ridiculous how me checking some texts on my phone caused the worker to act the way he did. The overall situation made me feel pretty uncomfortable and uninvited so I decided to leave the shop without buying anything. Fortunately, about a 3 minute walk from this shops location on baldwin st was another flower shop(i forget the name) where I was able to find some flowers to buy. Felt a lot more welcomed there and had a far better experience dealing with them.

I walked into this shop for about 5 seconds before I walked right back out. I can guarantee I will never be going back to that store again. I originally walked in because the plants inside looked gorgeous. Almost immediately I grabbed my phone to take a picture of one of the plants they had when one of the workers said “no photos”. That was fine so I put my phone away but then he had the audacity to say “well we said hello and you didn’t say it back”. Like sorry you mumbled it under your breath and I happened to be talking with my friends. There was a lingering silence that left an awkward vibe which led me and my friends to walk right back out. As we left the bald worker with the glasses said “bye” in an aggressive and rude tone. Overall horrible costumer service and this dude needs to be trained. Btw there were no costumers and I think it’s clear why. Nice plants but rude people.

I placed an order that I ended up having to cancel. I ordered before the store opened and called to cancel as soon as someone would answer the phone. I was not able to get my refund even though it was impossible for anyone to have started working on the bouquet (wasn't going out until tomorrow, and the store had just opened for the day). The employee who I spoke to on the phone was quite rude. I emailed to see if we could reach an agreement because of the timing (no time or money had gone into the bouquet yet). The employee who answered my email shared their refund/cancellation policy that was supposedly on their website and I was still unable to get my order refunded. I scoured the website before my order for this policy and again after, and it is nowhere to be found. Overall, disappointed in the quality of customer service.

The bald guy was the rudest salesperson I’ve ever met. He definitely should work on socializing with people other than himself. I was so excited to come in to get a plant but left in tears. After touching the leaves of a plant to see if it was the mimosa pudica, he yelled at me. Pro tip: put a sign up if you don’t want one of your items for purchase to be touched or at least have a label for your plants. He then asked “are you even going to buy anything”. Definitely not something you want to hear when you go into a store. I ended up feeling forced to purchase the plant I initially wanted even though his attitude made it feel more sour than sweet. Overall, worst shopping experience of a lifetime. Plants are way overpriced and there are plenty of other amazing places to spend your money at.

Wilbe Bloomin arranged the florals for our wedding - they were STUNNING. They were able to put together boutonnières, corsages, bouquets, centrepieces, and a gorgeous arch for us. We are not super knowledgeable where flowers are concerned, so we just gave them our colours and let them put together some great arrangements using local, in season blooms. I was so happy to just let them work their magic - I couldn’t have dreamed up a better space. They also looked after delivery and setup, and were very responsive to questions ! We weren’t able to access our venue until later in the day, and they were able to arrange a more compressed setup time. Our friends and family loved the florals and were so excited to be able to take the centrepieces home! Much thanks to Jonathan and the whole team!

The flowers are lovely but the service is only ok. I ordered online and just missed the cutoff for same day delivery. I called to see if it might be possible to delivery same day. The florist just immediately dismissed the possibility without even looking or checking my order. So that’s ok service. Not excellent. Don’t order here if you want to help a friend in a bereavement. **Just to add that its interesting when a business spends more time defending themselves than they did on the initial customer interaction. And if we’re being detail oriented, my records state I started my order at 10:47 and your website crashed. I thought it best to put order in then call. I was not offered a rush delivery option.

I have ordered Air Plants Adorn In-Vase and picked best 4 to be able to get a nice size flower arrangment. Price before delivery and taxes was $134.50. The reason I picked this one because of the orchids. Flowers delivered didn't look anything like the one I ordered. When I questioned why there were no orchids she said we put seasonal flowers. I said orchids are available at any season. She replied WE NEVER INCLUDE ORKIDS. I would call that false advertising. Do you think what I ordered and what I received was the same or remotely similar? Instead of orchids and other flower, I got a couple of roses, fancy cabbage and lots of greens.

Wilbe Bloomin made a very special day very extra special. I found their online order process really easy and had a couple of questions which were answered by a very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding person. I was able to customize my selection and the flowers were ready when promised, packaged in a beautifully creative wrapping which was the tease for what was inside. The arrangement design, quality of all components and the freshness of the flowers were the best that I have ever found. This is especially challenging during these times that we are in and yet Wilbe Bloomin executed everything beautifully.

I bought a bouquet of tulips for $44 and I'm a bit disappointed with the product and service. The man behind the counter was rather judgmental when I asked whether the tulips could be more in bloom in the bouquet. That was despite saying I was not particularly knowledgeable about tulips. It made for an awkward experience. When I got the bouquet, it was wrapped in unremarkable and cheap-looking brown paper outside and purple tissue paper on the inside. The receipt was also stapled onto the bouquet, and the cut of paper was ripped at one part. Overall, I thought it was okay, but not worth the price I paid.

One of the other reasons I chose WilBe Bloomin for my monthly subscription was also a reasonable price. I'm really happy with this decision. I love that I can move the monthly delivery date to my convenience, and the flowers are so fresh and beautiful. The bouque is a very good size, and I was more than happy when I received my first order. Freshly cut flowers really lifts my mood and pulls the place together. I keep the flowers and dry them afterward. I would recommend Wilbe Bloomin to anyone looking to purchase flowers or even thibking about trying a monthly subscription.

During COVID-19 and being under quarantine after arriving back in Canada - I had no way to go out and get fresh cut flowers . I tried Wilbe Bloomin for the first time . I was pleasantly surprised. The flowers were beautifully packaged and sent as promised and left outside my door. Since then , this has been my go to florist for the last 3-4 weeks. I have used them several times already , including sending a birthday bouquets of Peonies to a friend (who was just thrilled.) Please help support this local business and keep the flowers Bloomin! I loved the dried flowers, but I won’t return here again. I bought flowers and barely walked out the store before I wanted to exchange them. The flowers that I wanted were $5 less. The male florist said that the flowers were “priced incorrectly” and that I shouldn’t be refunded or receive something in place of the difference. This is disappointing, seems unethical and I’m going to think twice about giving my money to gentrifying florists that don’t seem to care much about the people they serve. You can probably buy better flowers from better people .

I bought a plant here about a week ago for a friend. Lovely lovely service from the two gentlemen inside. They explained which plants would thrive in my friends space and which would suffer and helped me pick out a nice pot. I know nothing about plants and they didn’t speak to me any differently than they would a plant lover. They put so much effort into making the plant beautiful with chicken wire and what looked to be a moss. Thank you so so much, the plant looks amazing in my friends apartment!

For me, this is possibly the best flower shop in Toronto. Friendly staff and quality flowers! It is now my go to and staff always super helpful. Even while all stores were shut down during covid, I needed a bouquet and they delivered right to my door. When I opened my door, my neighbor was standing staring at the flowers and looked at me and said "I'm Jealous". These flowers in the pic attached were those flowers. Again, always quality long lasting flowers. Thank you Wilbe Bloomin!

I ordered a bouquet of the Designer's choice for a friend for Valentines day and it was absolutely beautiful, bright, and cheery, worth every penny! I chose Wilbe Bloomin as I've shopped in person with them before and have had a wonderful experience each time, and now that I'm no longer in the city they were the obvious choice for a delivery to send a friend. Couldn't recommend them enough if you're in the city and looking for some gorgeous plants or fresh cut flowers.

Stopped by this shop last weekend to get some flowers for a bridal shower. We didn’t order anything in advance. They had a great selection of bouquets outside for us to help ourselves to. They offered to make something custom if we had a bit of time to wait if we didn’t like the other bouquets. Bouquets were wrapped up beautifully and had water for the flowers since we were still shopping. A week later and some of the flowers still look very fresh.

They have a lot to choose from and the service was quick. Which I appreciated. But I regret paying beforehand as I found the flowers weren't as fresh as they could've been. They seemed a little old and droopy. The staff didn't ask me if I liked the arrangement, just shoved it out the door and shut and locked the door as soon as they have me the flowers. I didn't like the way the staff acted. I think I will try a different flower shop next time.

Poor and unsatisfying customer service. Asked for advice and recommendations for graduation flowers, and not even did not have any suggestion, gave a very unpleasant answer and attitude: "you should know what your friend likes" I have definitely had better customer service at other flower shops, which makes me think this one has no idea about flowers and do not absolutely care about their customers. Plus over priced flowers and bouquets.

As she was in hospital many florists would not take my request Fortunately I found this wonderful florist who arranged a beautiful bouquet which brought tears to my friends eyes. Purchased some lovely orchids for a colleague for Xmas. I just discovered that the orchids were delivered to my colleague's neighbour. Long story short, when my colleague finally got the flowers they were completely dead. When my colleague complained she was offered a gift card with a value of less than half of the original order amount. This was a complete customer service fail. I will not be ordering from this company again.

Due to the lockdown I wasn’t able to do any in-store browsing, but what I did see from the front window was a great selection of healthy plants on display of varying sizes. Their prices are comparable to other flower/plant/garden centres. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a plant, I would definitely recommend them as they offer delivery at a reasonable price or pickup.

I ordered flowers for mothers day, and today for my birthday. In both cases, the flowers have been stunning - so artfully assembled. I know it's tough for florists to come by their usual flower supplies, but these guys are doing a great job. Also, I love the "tiered" system they have for ordering - from Good, Better, Best, Luxury and so on. It makes getting a bouquet at your price point way easier. <3

They’re professional, detail-oriented and incredibly talented—they took notes on colour palette and delievered a beautiful arrangement to my door. Love this flower shop! Have been going to them for special occasions for the past 5 years. Yes they are a bit pricy but the quality and the combinations the florists pick are the best bouquets I have ever bought in Toronto. I couldn’t be happier with the vased arrangement Marie put together for me. I called 20 mins in advanced and she had captured what I had requested perfectly and the flowers were ready when I picked up. Yellow roses but refined and luxurious look that is non-traditional. Highly recommend! The arrangement I wanted was currently out of stock online but with a quick phone call the helpful staff was able to direct me how to customize the arrangement. The recipient absolutely LOVED it and said it smelled amazing. It's been almost a month and a half after and I just got another picture of how stunning the arrangement still is and smelling great!

Honestly not the place to go on valentines, the staff have a crazy attitude and will give you left over flowers for your order. I ordered a dozen rose bouquet of pink roses and they just gave me 3 hot pink roses and the rest were white or almost white barely pink. Also the white roses look already withered on pickup. Wouldn’t recommend at all especially for the price.

The team at Wilbe Bloomin created a lovely, cheery yellow cube arrangement. The flowers are fresh, the arrangement is creative and we are very pleased. Staff took the time to provide friendly, professional customer service when I called, and when I called again to make a change, even though I placed the order in the midst of their Valentine's Day rush.

I ordered flowers for my sister's birthday through their website. The prices were reasonable and I like that they were local. I had originally ordered through a larger online company, but they said the delivery window was between 8am-8pm, which is ridiculous, so I cancelled that order and then found Wilbe Bloomin. My sister loved the flowers.

The bouquet included a nice variety of warm colours (whites, yellows & soft and dark pinks). I'm so happy with the beautiful soft fragrance. It was delivered on time by a friendly gentleman. I have ordered from them twice, and twice have been very happy with the results, the flowers were delivered promptly, and the irises(which I got in both bouquets) were just opening when they arrived so we got to have the most time with the full bloom possible, with some of the flowers lasting oer a week.
