As a new mum I was struggling to face the challenge of the admin involved, but Catherine was so kind, clever and clear in our conversations and I quickly put my faith in her . This was the right thing to do as she found us a great affordable product despite some economic turmoil , and the fact that we are both self employed and I'm on maternity leave! The communication was great throughout the process, and when we went into the branch Catherine made us a coffee and even had a lovely toy to keep the baby occupied through a meeting . She has much more of a human and personal touch than any other mortgage broker I've spoken to, and she put everything in a real world context rather than limiting it to facts and figures. Posted pictures of our son as part of our listing when we asked for pictures to be blurred and were assured they would be. Asked for details around how many times it was viewed, how it happened etc and didn't really get a response. General standard of photos was poor, they left us to arrange the house ourselves and they, nor photographer, provided any useful input whatsoever as to the presentation of the house. Asked them not to ring me as I was at a funeral on a specific day and time, they rang during the hours I stated not to. More interested in making money than doing what is in the best interests of the customer. Not a reflection on the branch manager who I think generally has been let down by the entire company around them. With so much other choice of estate agents in the area, just use someone else.

As prospective buyers we have so far received excellent service from William H Brown - Horsforth . Our designated contact has been Mellisa who is definitely the exemplar for an estate agent. House buying / selling is a daunting process for both parties and it is so refreshing to find in Mellisa that she has both parties best interest at heart ( vendor and buyer). As someone actively seeking from experience it is clear that this is not a priority shared by all agents in the sector. Mellisa is friendly professional and very importantly honest and genuine giving you the confidence that she wants to find the best fit for all parties. i'm trying to buy a house they marketed as available, but it turned out the seller didn't want to complete for the first 3 months. my concerns were dismissed by this estate agent who responded with inaccurate information on the state of the sale. after that, they would not respond to emails and seem very slow on calling you back when their lines are too busy to connect to a person.

Just sold my house with Horsforth branch, however Yeadon Branch did all the work for me. I had to email the manager for updates as the staff did not seem to know what was going on. Disappointed.
