Went to the Knox store yesterday at 3pm to buy a new wardrobe of shoes for work. I had limited time and had to make a purchase as I start a fancy new job on Monday. There were no other customers in the store, but two girls behind the counter too busy flirting with a male shopkeeper from another store to acknowledge me. I circled the store twice, noted about six pairs I liked but still got no acknowledgement from the staff so left. Went next door to Joanne Mercer and was immediately greeted, was given so much assistance although the shop was busy and the phone wouldn’t stop ringing and the girl was by herself. Walked out ten minutes later after spending $380 on four pairs of heels. I was the easiest type of customer, knew what I wanted and needed to spend big there and then and you lost a sale because your staff didn’t give me basic attention. I have been a long time customer of Williams but for me no matter how much I like the product, poor service negates everything else and you have just lost my business from now on. Well done

I rarely review but wanted to give a shout out to Mollie who provided some of the best service I've seen in a while. While William's Knox did have the shoe I wanted and in the right size they unfortunately only had the brown and not the black. After ensuring I had the right size, Mollie did everything possible to get in contact with a store that had the shoe but had phones down. I managed to get to the other store and get the shoe, and after all this Mollie followed up to make sure it all went well and I got the boots. Thanks again Mollie, ace service!

Shopping for school shoes and after being completely ignored in two other nearby stores (even though we were the only customers and made it quite plain we needed assistance), we received very prompt, helpful and knowledgeable service at Williams. Great suggestions made and lots of patience to try on each brand in to make a good choice and find a shoe that was comfortable, for a kid having to make the transition from runners to leather school shoes.

I was acknowledged when I entered the store..allowed to brows then approached and assisted...I ended up buying an extra pair of shoes.. oops ..I cannot remember the young mans name but he was great. Definitely return there for more shoes.

Great range of styles for men and women for all occasions. Well laid out, well lit and tidy store. Great service from Paul who showed us a range of colours and styles, and talked about what is in fashion for young men at the moment.

Excellent service with 4 grandchildren in tow. The young gentleman serving us was incredibly patient and helpful, making school shoe shopping with four children a delight. Thank you.

got a pair of sandals in the sale, they usually say buy one second half price but this purchase was just one pair , thats what I prefer
