If it was possible I would give them zero stars. It was 15 minutes before closing time and I went in as one of the last customers for them to serve. As I was looking, I found two shoes I was interested in. When I went to a lady she very rudely said “Sorry I can’t serve you can’t you see we’re about to close?!” I said “Sorry, but I’ve been waiting for a long time for service” I said. “Well we’re closed I can’t do anything about it!” She said. So I said okay and started to leave. Suddenly another lady picked up a Dior bag and asked everyone whose it was. A man who was paying at the front said it was his and she said “Well take better of your things next time!!” She said rather rudely. As she walked back to the counter she cursed! So after that scenario I walked to the closed door. It was closed and I couldn’t open it! No one came. Eventually a kind customer knew how to open the door and opened it for me. This store has bad customer service and they are so rude! I would not recommend this to ANYONE.

Got yelled at by Ange the Windsor Smith Chadstone staff member yesterday night for returning faulty wedding shoes that have never been worn but had no receipt, they did not hold my heel and kept slipping and was too tight around the toes. She kept saying she was new and had no idea what she was doing (literally). I had to call security and centre management as we were so appalled at the service, she called her manager and started pretending to have a panic attack and was telling her manager I was saying rude things to her and laughing in her face where actually I was calm and had never said one thing other than asking to speak with someone less incompetent. Made an official complaint with centre management, still no exchange or refund, and our wedding is in two weeks, we just went to Merchant straight after, another store in the centre and bought some great shoes with exceptional staff and my feet are happy again.

I LOVE Windsor Smith shoes. but i dont like is the service at Chadstone Shopping Centre, this place used to be packed with people, these days you are usually the only one in the store. 98% off the time ignored by the staff, they make it extremely hard for you to spend your money here. i went in and knew exactly what i wanted, asked to try a size, both the girl and guy went out the back, them come back with a box to pass to me, they continue having there own conversation, while i am holding a box in a size i didnt ask for and a completely different style of shoe. after 3 attempts of them finding it i finally got my shoes. if the shoe sizing was more consistent i would much rather purchase online, or go into myer, where its just as hard to get staff attention, but at least in myer they try to help, rather then completely ignoring. SO RUDE

Would give 0 stars if I could. I purchased shoes here in December last year, the heel grip came off and I took them back to the store and had to go through a lengthy process over 2 weeks just to get an exchange. Once I finally got my new pair, I wore them and only walked to my car from the house to find that the same thing had happened again. I took them to the chadstone store and was served by ange, she said she couldn’t process a refund and I would have to get an exchange but since having bad experiences with the store, I didn’t want to go through that trouble again. According to Australian consumer law, customers are entitled to a refund of goods or services are lacklustre. Very disappointed. Will never be shopping here again.

I never post reviews but I felt compelled to after this experience. 4 and a half months ago I bought a pair of SAMUEL MARON SUEDE boots from Chadstone and experienced the same attitude of the attendants that my presence in the store was an inconvenience to them and I was beneath them. Even more disappointing these beautiful boots are already falling apart on the side, much to my surprise I visited the store two days ago and had great service by a lovely attendant and she actually arranged to replace the boots at no cost. Finally some decent service at that store! I will wait with bated breath to see if the boots last much longer this time. FINGERS CROSSED!!

I purchased boots for 200$ and the bottom part would peel off in a month of use, unfortunately the quality is terrible, the store exchanged the boots 6 times and the same defect would show over and over again until i decided to get a refund and invest in real quality boots that actually last a few years. My 1-Star review is only aimed at the terrible quality of the shoes, the staff were great and customer service is excellent. I liked the brand but sadly will never purchase any item from Windsor Smith again. Management should seriously address quality issues.

The customer service at this store is appalling. I wanted to return a pair of shoes as they were terrible quality, however I could not find my receipt. Due to the incompetency of the staff, particularly Jess, I had to come back not once, but three times in order to finally get a refund, despite telling them that I lived 40 minutes away. They couldn't even process my refund using my details in the system or over the phone. Will never buy shoes from this joke of a shoe store again. I wish I had read the reviews before coming here, what a complete waste of time.

The staff here are helpful but customer service from Windsor Smith is the worst I have experienced. I bought a pair of boots here 4 months ago and dispute only wearing 3 days a week the heal wore down to a point where they were no longer safe to wear. I brought them back and was told by Windsor Smith head office on two separate occasions that it was not a manufacturing problem and it was the way I walked. I have had shoes for 5 years with less wear than 4 months of wearing these. Will never shop at Windsor Smith again.

Bought a pair of boots in Southland store. They were tight, attendant said they were the largest they had in that style, and that they would stretch a bit, and if they didn’t I always had 14 days to exchange it. Wore them a few hours, still too tight. Returned to Southland, not a single other style available next size up to exchange. So they sent me to Chadstone. Arrive Chadstone, they refused to exchange because the boot had already been worn. You can’t win!!

That’s true I look at the reviews for this store in Chadstone I have a bad experience with the people who work there they are very rude they don’t want to help you at all I bought a pair of shoes and was so uncomfortable and I want to exchange them and the customer service are so rude they didn’t want to exchange the shoes for me I was so upset and they said we don’t care if you give us a bad review very bad customer experience

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever received. I waited quiet some time for service, was ignored buy 1 staff mene we and the other one helping me out looked like he didn’t even want to be there. I had to ask him for help and ask him quif actions rather than him asking me. I regret spending a cent in that store, a mistake I won’t be repeating. And not to mention they did not want to refund me for a faulty pair of shoes.

Worst customer service from this person named Pardesay - 18/01/22 3:19pm. She looked like she didn’t want to be there and was unprofessional and rude. She was wearing a Nike sweatshirt which didn’t really suit the decor/brand of Windsor smith. Literally looked like she was wearing home clothes. Please fire her immediately and replace her with someone more lively who wants to be there to provide basic customer service.

Management should seriously consider restaffing the Chadstone store. The staff are extremely unhelpful and customer service is atrocious. I was accused of stealing shoes in front of a store full of customers because I tried to return shoes without a receipt. That sucks and should never happen to anyone. How could I steal shoes that are stored in the back of the shop? I will never return to this store.

I bought several pairs from Windsor Smith in the past but I’m never coming back! Monday 31/10/22 at 9.30am whoever was the lady working there was so rude. I ask to try a pair in size 8, she said she’d only bring the pair if I try the one on display first (which was size 8 too). Not a smile, she clearly didn’t want to be at work today, just stay home then!

Very upset today, bought a pair of shoes 3 days a go but it gave too much pain when walking just a few step and want to return it, but staffs said that’s not the valid reason to return the shoes and forced us to buy something else with the same amount even I don’t need it. Never come back or buy shoes from them. I used to like this brand, so sad,

On 07/12/2019, I purchased a pair of boots. Later at home, I noticed it was not the one I tried at the shop. When I went to change it, I was informed that they won’t refund but I can choose another. They make sure to change the pair I chose today as well. I haven’t experienced such incidents even in my country.

Nice looking shoes, but for now the price that is all you get. These days manufacturers give you just enough quality to get money out of your pocket and past the warranty. I would pay good maney for good shoes that last the test of time...

I went in to the store on 09/03/19 and customer service was horrendous!!!! 2 girls were there, both rude and absolutely in need of lessons on customer service. I will never ever go to Windsor Smith in Chadstone shopping centre!!!!

Excellent customer service especially during the busy Black Friday sale. Great value - take a close look at each make. Boots still in great condition after a year. New boat shoes are stylish and seem good quality.
