"Pretty good store"
Have been here several times all were nice, but tonight we just visited at 9:30 pm: not much customer, staff are busy filling the empty isles. I needed watermelon but all were gone so I approached a gentleman filling the fruit areas. He was professionaly asked me which size I'm looking for (quarter, half or full), went and brought what I wanted! Itt honestly made my day and loving more this store! Thank you too the kinds staff, team, and the management for developing such nice customer experience
I am always a happy customer of Woolies at Menai. The staff are caring, knowledgeable and friendly. There's a wide range of products and all are of good quality. Normally shop in-store but a broken arm has got me shopping online. Am very pleased with how easy the whole process of ordering, paying and organising delivery was. Very impressed that delivery happened during the time I asked for and that I was notified when driver approaching. Definitely going to shop online again when needed.
Two days before Christmas Woolies opened at 6.00am which was fabulous. Then the day before Christmas they open at 7.00am!!! Absolutely no customer care. There was a long line up from 6.15 with customers expecting the 6.00 am opening again which was logical. They stood there waiting patiently for 3/4 of an hour. Goodness knows what the thinking was behind this executive decision. I would like to see these people have to stand in line for that time and see how they like it.
I was being told by one of male staff at the deli section that I am not allow to take any photo of what cheeses are available at the counter due to copyright issue according the stuff. I have found that this particular staff is very rude and ridiculous. All I wanted is to show my wife what cheese should I get and all I have got is to be told off. What kind of customer service ???
Pretty good store. One thing that's annoying lately, though, is that it seems like the lite milk range has been generally replaced with lactose free milk. Where has the 2L lite milk in dairy farmers, norco, or riverina gone? Instead, forced to pay nearly $7 for a2 lite milk, nearly $2.50 extra! Home brand lite milk has inconsistent tastes from bottle to bottle.
Good selection. Open to product suggestions (I get English teabags PG Tips here). Fresh fruit and veggies are decent. Staff are friendly and helpful. I feel safe and comfortable when all the staff wear masks and they encourage patrons to do the same. Hoping they will stock Chinese hot pot ingredients one day in the frozen section and I'll give five stars!
Ordered shopping online to collect, unlike Kirrawee where you park up and the shopping is loaded into your car for you, at Menai you have to park in the main car park and go into Woolworths to let them know you are collecting your shopping and then they bring out a trolley for you to take to your car... Think I'll just go to Kirrawee in the future.
It is a good large Mall in that area but there is no guidance for the categories of items .There is no help - desk and it was difficult to get a knowledgeable person .Ultimately ,I could meet the Manager and he guided me to the desired section .Anyway, once you get used to this place ,this must be helpful in geeting the things easily .
Having just moved into the Shire, The Menai store is by far the best I’ve ever attended . The customer service is amazing (guys like Jeff) . The notice if a line is long and quickly open more registers without prompting . It’s a large store , so not very crowded . The prices are great . This is the best grocery store I’ve attended
Quite large Woolworths supermarket with a wide variety of products including some local produce. The shelves usually seem reasonably well stocked, about the prices are excessively high as these corporate Giants continue to screw Australians with unnecessary price increases while they make the biggest profits they have ever made
A little dissapointed as parts of the fruit and veggie section was empty. A cart left blocking the freezer section and noone to be seen to have them move iit to grab what i needed. Yes its a busy woollies but come on guys you are usually pretty darn good! whats happened... Still giving a 4 star rating as they are usually a 5/5
Very massive store with multiple aisles and all staff members are working hard and smart, most of products are marked correctly and if any wrong tickets on product they'll try to do their best to satisfy the customer and trying to be as good as they can, good luck for all staff members there
Went there a few Fridays ago, some items in bakery weren't on the shelf followed by store manager yelling at staff member Infront of customers. Is it to hard to ask nicely? Puts you off shopping and is unprofessional I believe being a former State Manager. I feel sorry for the staff there.
Good access, good parking, friendly service. Just visited, got in and out quickly, found everything I wanted and was served efficiently and with a pleasant smile and kind words. Kudos to the young check out woman, Alaana, especially for her efficient and friendly manner.
The Woolworths hair is fairly average it doesn't offer anything extra or less than many other Woolworths stores, however I would say the staff in the delicatessen area a friendly and helpful which is more than I can say for some of the other Woolworths stores
So much better than our local Woolies. Huge selection of brands, cheeses, sushi, deli, excellent displays out the front of the store for every holiday and special day. Fast throughput with many registers open. Manager discounts always worth looking at.
Long lines at checkouts. Never seen every checkout in use when busy. 5 deep lines gets ignored for an online pickup customer who just turned up while existing customers queuing for 10mins already. They need to serve all customers waiting
Professional, helpful, caring and courteous staff. I'm very proud of my local Woolies which is always neat, clean and organised too. I recently shopped online as well, and everything went perfectly smooth. A special shout out to Irene,
The staff were off handed to the point of being rude. There were 3 staff on express checkouts with noboby waiting and 1 on trolley checkout with long queues waiting for service. We had a trolley and the express lane person begrudgingly
What a pity the young fair haired guy with glasses who appears to be running the front desk etc hasnt got a better attitude. I have encountered his attitude several times in recent months. Just now I asked him politely if he would mind
Today the lines to the counter were so Long. At 11 am. Not enough staff on the check outs. This is happening more and more and it was Wednesday. It use to be my go to shop but I am going to change my routine now. It was ridiculous.
I have been ordering shopping online and click collect so decided to do a actual shop, the store is CoVId safe but lots of items in boxes and hard to get things quickly. Sticking to online or click and collect for a little longer
A medium sized Woolworths comparatively speaking compared to other Woolworths. Outdoor parking is usually easily available, but be warned that if you’re doing shopping in rainy weather, you’re probably going to get soaked.
Good sized Woolworths with a wide range of products. Compared to other Woolworths in the Shire though this one always seems to extremely busy. Always so many customers so we probably won't be coming back here as a result.
This is busy and popular supermarket particularly on the weekends but the staff are always friendly and amazing. There is always plenty of fruit and other fresh produce and there is a bakery area for freshly made bread.
If you've been to 1 Woolworths, you've generally been to them all. And Menai is no exception. That doesn't make it a bad store. Everything is as expected and when you want no hassle grocery shopping, that's a win.
The store is clean and well presented with a good variety of product on the shelf... they have a butcher on site with good selections in the deli and seafood area... I travel out of area to go to this store...
Need to often restock their shelves but staff are very friendly and fast. Except for older guy who served us who seemed to be trying to crack onto my wife. Not cool dude hence the lost star
This is a really good Woolies. They have so much stuff that other Woolies don't have! Some really outlandish things too like durians You don't see them everyday. Recommended …
The lady serving me went out of her way to get me a trolley as I had too many bags and was carrying my baby in a chest strap. Very thoughtful and thoroughly appreciated.
I came late to pick up a few groceries. Staff were super friendly despite it being 9.50pm. I was mindful of the closing time so I promptly paid for my groceries. Thanks
kind and helpful team. about half of the trollies suck. I need staff assistance at least twice anytime I visit the self-checkout thanks to the new stupid AI system
Julie at the self service this morning, thank you for your excellent customer service. Was so wonderful to have a chat & laugh with a staff member.
Convenient location. Ample parking. Covid wipes available. There should still be a royal commission into some of the absurd price hikes.
It isn't a full line woollies but you should get most of your shopping done here... don't rely on it for the freshest of fruit and veges
Large store with plenty on offer. Seafood, Butchers, Bakery, Deli etc. Found inside the HomeCo Shopping centre in Menai. Ample parking.
Great memories at this woollies. My friend put his Holden Cruze in D and it reversed into a tree. Best Woolworths in the area !!
Needs a revamp. Boring supermarket. Not enough International food selection. The Fruit and vegetable section is very poor.
It's OK not the best supermarket I've been in, could do with a rethink and some nicer managers. Must come with the job
It's probably the best range and display in the fish section that I have seen Friendly helpful staff always
A regular go to, convenient to my workplace. A bigger sized store and well stocked. Good service
Great range. Investment in the store has given it the modern Woolworths look and feel.
Huge, very clean store that is always well stocked. F&V always fresh
Seems like it was only yesterday. A place to create memories.
They don’t even sell Woolworths branded 600mL water
Good store plenty of checkouts and plenty of staff
Great service Good selection Fast checkout
Just the usual shopping experience
Always friendly helpful staff
