I went in to pick up a desert after ringing to confirming by phone that they had some in store - when I got there they couldn't locate any - 1st person was very helpful and I told him that I had spoken to someone on the phone a few minutes prior - he then asked another employee (Victor) who was very rude, arrogant and became aggressive when I couldn't give him a name of the person I spoke to on the phone - Victor wouldn't help at all because I couldn't give him a name (who asks for names in these circumstances?) and just walked away - I was polite at all times and I have shopped at this Metro for very many years - BUT NEVER AGAIN whilstever Victor is there

I telephoned Woolworths Metro Paddington at 8.20am this morning 25 January during a heat wave. The store opened at 7am. I asked when the first batch of cooked chickens would be ready. I was told "10 to 15". I caught the bus there to arrive at 8.45 am. No chickens. I cited my call to them. The young girls at the registers turned their backs and poured water for themselves. I persisted and they picked up the phone to a member of staff who came out and said "30 minutes. I left phased and confused I hope this post helps others. I am elderly. I

Woolies 5 Ways is "my Local". If one is Courtious to the Staff, as 1 should always be, the Staff are very helpful & friendly. There is 1 delightful older Caucasian appearance "furit &vege" attendee who is hardly able to talk has been working at Woolies 5 Ways Paddo for over 20yrs. That's says alot about the "Staff Culture". Then there is Indian Appearance named ?Res who acts as "After Hrs Manager" sometimes. ?Res is so helpful also.

I rarely write reviews. However, I just want to pass on my compliments to Ruby, a staff member who in the very long time I have been a customer at the store, has displayed a very courteous & pleasant manner each time I have attended the store. You should be proud to employee such a dedicated staff member.

Yesterday I walked from St Vincent’s hospital to get a few basics and was feeling very down. A beautiful young lady sincerely took the time to welcome me to the store and later chatted with me at the check out. Her positivity was infectious and was a blessing to me. Turned my day around!

Were it not for the fact that certain popular items have been discontinued in recent weeks including (inconceivably) Microwave Popcorn, I would have given Woollies Metro Fiveways 5 stars. As it is, the standard of service and range and quality of fresh produce is compelling.

Great store not enough choice with items but the service is great. The ladies on the counter always serve with a smile and a chat. The staff member with dreadlocks needs a pay rise he looks after everyone and everything and is nearly there every day.

Today my friend and I bought some sushi from the metro and it was honestly so delish. We wanted a quick lunch and were delighted to find that it was fresh and so tasty. It was a lady working and she was so nice too. Literally buss downnnnn. 5/5

In todays world you don't go from paper bags to plastic bags for 15 cents. It might be reusable but not everyone goes around with your 15c PLASTIC bag in their pocket. Pathetic way to reduce costs against world opinion about plastic bags.

They need more options. Not having the deli is not great. They need it back. Staff are friendly. Reduced prices are often not accurate at the checkout so keep an eye out for that! Stock seems ok at moment. Meat a little low.

Over priced as always. Now the reduction are 20 and 30 per cent off. Before was 50 per cent regularly... This is called disguised inflation. Please try to eat less and buy less for the planet and for your health too

Can’t stand that sleezy old guy. I’ve seen him pick on the junior staff members. I presume that’s why I never see the same staff member twice. You should be nurturing your young staff.

I have been living in Paddington for a few weeks and always went to this supermarket. The staff is extremly friendly and helpful and the supermarket has a good selection!

Bought fresh rocket today in a pack and it was off so very disappointed. I thought the quality control would be higher.

I like making purchases in this small Woolworth store as I receive a free coffee every time when I spend over $30.

Average Woolworths Metro. Lots of flowers out the front. Has your core basics but not a full Woolworths offering
