"Compared to other Woolworths and Coles in the surrounding areas this one continually disappoints"
"I used to love this store but when they have no registers open and we're forced to serve ourselves in the self checkout, I want a staff discount and a wage for doing their job for them"
"This shop is an absolute joke full trolley of shopping they want you to use the self serve it's impossible I asked 3 different girl's could they serve me they said nobody is working on the tills I never leave a review but it has to be done this time"
"Like many Woolworths, they are now using an AI gate, however, this the AI gate at this Woolworths actually locks people in"
"As per usual, and unfortunately expected (as a shareholder, it frustrates me), went to buy a product"
Compared to other Woolworths and Coles in the surrounding areas this one continually disappoints. Whilst I understand that it's a busy store, plenty of shelves - particularly fruit and vegetables - are regularly empty not only at peak times but in the slow hours as well. Never more than two registers open at a time, yet apathetic staff wandering the aisles down next to nothing. Back when I was a woolies kid, if I wasn't helping out I would get my butt kicked!! Definitely room to approve. The good: - Pretty full range considering the size of the store - front end staff are really nice and quick - always a good range of specials that change from week to week
I used to love this store but when they have no registers open and we're forced to serve ourselves in the self checkout, I want a staff discount and a wage for doing their job for them. Then I was held hostage at the automatic gates at the exit until someone noticed me and pressed a button to let me out. They force us to work for them for free but then don't trust us to do the right thing and won't let us out until someone has checked out bags against our receipt. With the rate their grocery prices go up, it's not me who is the thief!
This shop is an absolute joke full trolley of shopping they want you to use the self serve it's impossible I asked 3 different girl's could they serve me they said nobody is working on the tills I never leave a review but it has to be done this time...I wasted an hour of my time and had to leave the shopping behind me...do not make the same mistake I did by going to this shop use Cole's across the road it has a much easier and better service.
Like many Woolworths, they are now using an AI gate, however, this the AI gate at this Woolworths actually locks people in. This happened to me and people thought I must have stolen even though I didn't. It's awfully annoying. I was stuck there for about a minute. I didn't know if I should turn around or keep calling for assistance. It's not right. This happened at 6:05 on 29 Dec.
As per usual, and unfortunately expected (as a shareholder, it frustrates me), went to buy a product....bare shelves YET again. Totally useless. Tries another store, same story. I'm taking my shopping elsewhere and I believe others will follow suit. Disgraceful. Metros don't work BRAD. Getting the message....nope...thought as much.
A much better and more modern layout after the refit during peak covid (April). I appreciate the Scan&Go app being used and have never had an issue with produce quality. Special shout out to the tall bearded worker on register who is friendly and always makes shopping a more pleasant experience. Good on you mate.
I used to buy at Woolworths, when I was studying in London from 1986-1987. When I saw the name here on February 17, 2018, I urged my wife and our younger son who is furthering his studies here to buy here and they did. Staff are friendly and I had a fond memory of my association with Woolsworth!
Polite and friendly service staff. Slightly challenging layout, not enough signs at the ends of aisles to guide customers to sought items. Took over half an hour to locate Brita water filters. Clean shop, good range.
Scan and go has been removed... Why? It was literally the best thing about this store. Instead of my usual shop taking 5 mins including checkout, I had to wait 15 just to get at the scan machine... Terrible
Them being metro always became an excuse , the customer service only few are good the reat they are pretty rude. Does not make u feel comfortable get something from randwick woolworth
Store is clean, basic grocery items available, however items on special are empty during peak hours, not lot of product alternatives, customer service is non existent,
Small but somehow has as much as a large Woolworths. Convenient car park albeit a bit dated. Very central to the locals. Usually bustling.
What they are doing is illegal. Customers cannot leave. This detention without permission. If they keep doing it police will be notified.
This is Woolworths metro not Woolworths! Some items are half price online and at other Woolworths stores but have higher prices here.
Is pretty good, for a Woolworths Metro, it is pretty big. It feels like a normal one. But always crowded.
FYI Scan and go available here. If you spend over $30, get a free coffee from the front coffee area.
Very friendly and helpful morning team! My favourite wollies to go to 10/10
I hate this place. The cafe staff is very bad. My service is bad
Love getting a free chai latte here for spending more than $30
Good but could be way better
