The worst customer service experience at Woolworths Narrabeen I recently had the displeasure of shopping at Woolworths Narrabeen and it was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I purchased a 4-piece bread pack, only to find out that I was cheated with only 3 slices in the package. I went to seek a discount for the missing slice and was met with the rudest and most contemptuous store manager I have ever encountered. The manager was extremely impatient, dismissive and showed no empathy towards the customers, including myself. The manager claimed to be too important and busy to deal with customers and refused to offer any discount. The manager's attitude was not only unacceptable, but it was also an insult to all customers. The manager's behavior was completely unprofessional and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I was left feeling completely disrespected and frustrated. I would never recommend anyone to shop at this location and I would rather go to any other store than be subjected to such terrible treatment again. I demand that this feedback be taken seriously. The treatment I received was a disgrace to the retail industry and should never be tolerated.
Many items out of stock , often. Being the local shop they take advantage of meal time rush late afternoon but often run out of hot chickens a great staple. Bananas were $1.00 a kg more than anyone else for three months. Annoying. Toilet paper back but pretty rude the price. The old 50 cents a roll is now close to $1.00. Don’t park inside the store area totally inconsiderate drivers around the Beaches. Two cars now so damaged by car doors and shopping Management not at all interested in having the parking adjusted for all the SUV’s and Tradies vehicles. Store management is lax ice in the freezers zero stock rotation done. Some great friendly staff but several shockers as well. The parking got so bad I wrote to Corporate after the Manager said she had no control over such decisions as relaying parking lines. Corporate say talk to the Manager they say talk to Corporate. Great Customer care. Yeah. Right. However it is the Local and a BWS next door as well!! Happy Days.

It is a one stop shop for groceries, stationery, gift cards, fruits and vegetables. They also have electronics, pet food ( canned, bagged and fresh too), frozen meals, fresh meat from the deli, and packed meat too. And to top this all there is a BWS attached to the store within the premises with great options to choose from. They also sell ice bags in the fridge at BWS which makes it a one stop shop for all to safe time on shopping and spend more time enjoying.
Hi Woolies can you please tell a few of your staff members putting products back in the shelves to take a shower/wear anti perspirant. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter there's 1-2 guys that absolutely stink of BO, not a light smell, the guy actually stinks more then when my dog rolled on a dead fish at the beach. I'm not even exaggerating, TAKE A SHOWER!! It's so off putting to have someone like that touch produce you are going to cook with.
Can you please ask your staff to apply some antiperspirant before they come to work? It is that bad that I'm more worried about running out of oxygen with those guys around than I'm worried about running out of oxygen when I get covid. It is seriously putting me off to shop in this place!!! If you can mandate vaccines in your work place, surely you can mandate the deodorant!!!
Smaller Woolworths, but still sufficient. The click and collect service is excellent here. Always ready early and rarely any substitutes. I’m moving two suburbs away and will still come back here for my click and collect service. Car park is a nightmare though. People don’t enter using the pedestrian path, making it dangerous and difficult to drive through.
The people are what make this store great, especially Pat who should have her own You tube show and Eddie who sells the Big Issue outside and is a great conversationalist. The car park is a bit dangerous, make sure to walk along the central footpath if you have kids. Not a flagship store but a handy local as multinational corporations go.
Woolworth Narrabeen is not a good supermarket for older people, The fast check out has been removed so we have to line up behind customers doing a full shop, If Woolworths think thay can force people into using the self check out system, Well.. lve started using Aldi at Warriwood, So that's progress woolies management.
A very small woolworths... so the stocks and variety are limited. But overall, it's got the basics. The service is alright - not bad, but I wouldn't say they are that friendly. The location is really lovely. Just two blocks from the ocean, and across the road from the lake. Close to buses and a cute parking lot.
I have waited, on more than one occasion, behind one other customer to be served at the delu counter. Only to have the female staff member walk out the back and not return. What kind of service do you call this? I now go elsewhere for seafood and deli products. Get your act together.
It's convient, unfortunately not easy to park, easy access, next to Lagoon, and main shops, walkway and easy access for other forms of transport, wheelchair accessible too. But very small car park, hard to find park. But overall a good place to shop. In a convient location too.
Staff are friendly, shop is well layed out. My only issue is I shop in the evenings, when I'm after bread that has been all put out in the morning, not much selection available in the evening.Other than that I think this place is clean, and good place to get your groceries.
While usually busy and pricey, the staff here are helpful, patient and friendly and the produce is fresh and well presented. Plenty of long-time employees that enjoy a conversation with their patrons as they assist or process payment. Overall I enjoy shopping here.
Good for a local supermarket, always has what is needed in stock at generally a cheaper price than other surrounding places, BWS nearby as well. Fruit and veg can occasionally be limited but that is quite rare and have a good selection of everything.
I bought a punnet of strawberries which cost $5.90 to take to a birthday party and when I got there I discovered they were all squishy and off at the bottom of the pack. Not happy! Where's the quality control? I had to throw them all out …
Its a hole. Never any decent vegetables, and the smell from the fish is rancid. The fruit is always horrible and bottom of the barrel, and when I picked up a loaf of bread it was mouldy. The staff are non existent, theres always a leak and
Plenty of parking here, loads of produce to chose from at reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff who go out of their way to assist you. It's one of the best Woolworths Metros in the area, that's all of the Northern Beaches.
first class supermarket, well stocked, good friendly staff, a tad dear but good merchandise, wonderful selection of sea food/shellfish. Out of this world drinks department. Mind you it's a long way to go for a bottle of wiskey
Absolutely hate the parking situation at this Woolworths, you'll spend 30 minutes going around in circles to get one of 30 odd parking spots that Woolworths actually has. Absolutely terrible and also a poor layout inside!!!
Small car park, small woolies in general. Great customer service everyone is very friendly. Newly renovated and nice selection of goods. If you need a bigger woolies there are plenty nearby this is a great local store.
The gift card was error and while i called the store they said receipt is fine to fix and when i went there they want the card . Wasted my time and embarrased that i have to wait gifted card to be return to fix it.
Often empty shelves. Erratic pricing EG Bananas 3.90 a kg for Six months. Staff just can’t keep up with demand. Park at you own risk. Small car parks and bloody awful drivers who don’t care about hitting your car.
What's to say? It's a Woolworths. It's not the biggest store so they lack a lot of options you'd find at a bigger Woolworths. That's about the biggest downside. Good part is you almost always get a parking spot.
Stock way too limited (and I don't exactly have obscure tastes). And I often find the stuff I want that they actually stock to be often sold out. Better off going further afield to another Woollies.
Fantastic customer service. Could not be more helpful. Personally showed me where each of my items were. Exceeded my expectations and a model for other stores to copy. Highly recommended
Just a quick visit or 2 last week to pick a few things and get an opal card. seemed ok. looked clean. staff quick to help with opal card. shelves looked full, store looked clean.
Small cars paradise only in the carpark niche store inside as well. Oh well served it's purpose for a couple of half price gatorades. Not sure where to recommend to park here??
awful being greeted by a security camera in your face. so unwelcoming. who wants to hang around a place like that and spend money? where I am u welcome I will not spend. easy!
Never fresh and they never have what you need and over priced. Much prefer Harris farm or basically anywhere else. Getting help from staff is like getting blood from a stone.
Loving the friendly staff who are generously giving us more and more packs of the Woollies bricks for my son to keep building; one of the better kid giveaway initiatives.
This is a very small woolies with limited selection but what they do have is most of what we need. The staff get a big thumbs up from us as do the fresh fruit and vege
Good place for 80 cents 1.5litre water, 10 minutes walk to beach but depends on where you want to go as narrabeen beach is the longest beach I have ever walked on lol
Unfortunately there wasn't the range of yoghurt I needed, the guy who went back of the store to check for stock was very nice. Not his fault they were out of stock.
Generally have what we need, isn't small but not the same range as the larger stores. Fruit and veg range not always the best, but I do love their turkish bread.
Great store, can get everything I need always. Fantastic range of plant based food hitting the shelves. I'm not vegan but do prefer not to eat meat very often.
Love this shop. Used to be an Ice rink and I once scored a goal there playing ice hockey for the Canterbury team. Great nostalgia whenever I shop there :)
Great large store. Always lots of specials and good choice of variety of fresh fruit and vegetables plus groceries. Friendly helpful staff. Easy parking.
Lately the service has been awful. There are never enough registers open while a bunch of staff stand around doing nothing. Would rather shop elsewhere.
Great little woolies. Fruit and veg are fresh, has a bws attached lots of free parking and situated between the lake and the Beach. staff are friendly.
Was looking for disposable plates for saturday beach picnic. Checked all places but to no avail, finally landed at this woolsworth. They saved my day
Often specials prices do not show up at the cash registers and you are charged full price and you dont get a chance to check until you sit in the car
Don't like Woolworths. We didn't find what we were looking for such as sliced ham and cheese. And prices were very high. Much better Coles or Aldi
I was waiting at the service desk for about 30 minutes, several staff members noticed me but they were too busy socialising with one another.
Small local supermarket. Fruit and vegetables very average quality but convenient. Parking can be an issue as very small with narrow spaces.
Had a fall staff were fantastic looked after me also did my shopping for me very high praises for Cassie the manager thanks so much
Large store but location is not very near many other shops so sometimes requires two trips if you need things other than groceries
Great little Woolies where you can get just about all you want. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is also a BWS attached.
Another regular Sunday shopping. Groundhog Day. Again. But......today is hot and clear. Time to fire up the lawn mower.
Most friendly Woolworth on the Northern Beaches I'd say everybody working there is nice, helpful just a great Woolworth
Generous sized Woolworth with plenty of ground floor parking. You will need a coin to release the shopping trolley.
Ok for a basic shop, limited sock compared to other Woolworths in the area. Parking can be busy but is usually ok.
A bit annoyed that the home brand water has been increased by $1 a bottle. A recycling scheme concern …
After paying cash I forgot to collect my $20 change and a staff member ran after me to give it back. Thank you
Nice Woolies can always park. Not a huge store but has most things you need. Narrabeen still has village feel.
Aeful. Staff did not acknowledge any customer. Did not take us to products, just said "Over there", ha, where?
Ultra friendly and helpful staff, however wait times can be quite high as there aren't many manned registers.
Quick and easy shop. Found easy parking (I think I was lucky) and was in and out with my few items in minutes
Easy parking. Limited range due to small size. Fruit & veg could be better. Not keen on pre-cut deli items.
Another good store... park and walking is interesting but not too bad. 100m down the street is a BWS! Enjoy
Probably the single best Woolworths in the country! Easy to park, plenty of check out so never ever a cue!
Awesome staff! Mark is very helpful but he could twirl his hair less often whilst you are talking to him.
Very compact, but nice shop with liquor shop next to it. Good for both occasional and regular shopping.
Good, but the range here is often quite limited. Produce is mostly fresh and they have a good deli.
Great customer service. Good selection. But they don't have the bestcacoa in the world. VAN HOUTEN.
Convenient to park at. Pretty much like any other Woolworths store in its layout and service level.
I like smaller shops like Narrabeen. In and out quickly without too many people and enough parking
It’s never fully stocked sadly and very under staffed. Yet the staff that work there are lovely!
Handy supermarket with good parking available most times, not the biggest but they fit a lot in.
My favorite shopping store and the staff are always very helpful and smiling. Thank you Grant
Very easy to park. Good wide aisles. Some great discounts. Good lighting. Quick checkout.
Was out of stock on many meat items plus people in the store not all was wearing a mask
Good place small have good parking and lake location with dine in restaurants outside.
Lovely store and kind staff. Parking is usually not too bad- good for a small shop.
Late night shopping, empty store, and helpful staff. What’s not to like. …
Is what it is init. BWS next door is handy. Not much of a seafood or deli section.
Not bad for a local Woolies. Recently refurbished with more self checkouts added.
Small sized store looks different from other woolies, handy in a very lovely area
Smallest and most limited in stock, easy parking though good for a quick shop.
Narrabeen lakes it's the best to relax n then u can watch some wild ducks too.
Love this Woolies the staff are warm and friendly and it has a small town feel
My bolar blade that I bought today was really tough. Very disappointed …
No roast chickens after 630?ffs! How hard is it to get a bloody ripe avo ffs!
Best Woolies..good parking good one stop shopping...in and out I like it....
No stock, and removing wanted items from stock. Time to shop somewhere else.
Beautiful location on bus route easy walking to beach and lagoon lake walk.
Not bad selection of everything and bottleshop right next door open til 10
Cannot use my woolies card to buy ciggie , r u serious, r u not woolies
U can find almost all the groceries u need here! Also warm service.
Good to pick-up the weeks food shopping . But very little parking.
Typical supermarket. Not too busy. Relatively small range of goods
Old Store with limited selection due to its size. Helpful staff.
Convenient Woolworths with ample supplies for your daily shop.
Very inconvenient and low stock.. a waste of a great location!
Great local woolies and staff are always helpful and friendly
Small woolies but good enough Still has everything you need
Extremely fresh! Nice prices with sales more often than not
Always easy shopping, better than the huge supermarkets.
Always plenty of parking. Good range and familiar faces
They DO NOT answer the phone. This is quite annoying.
