"Some great things about this store and some terrible things"
"Sorry, this place treats its customers like cattle and couldn’t give a hoot about service"
"Very bad experience here"
"Quite like this woollies, huge range, especially things like cheese, free range eggs and pre-made meals, although some things are on the pricey side, the specials are still there though"
"For such a glamourous store this is a distressing store"
Some great things about this store and some terrible things. Interesting variety of "premium" foods. Bread and Butter project in store, etc, good parking. But, pretty limited on a bunch essentials. For example, I think there is only one type of bar soap on sale (maybe 5 packets on the shelf), but an entire shelf of body wash. There are some stock control issues - check the use by dates on cold food before purchasing, it frequently is almost out of date and occasionally out of date. Also, the check outs are frequently closed, forcing you to use the automatic machines which accuse you of stealing and don't take cash. All this despite having numerous staff on hand. So it is promising, and I hope it gets better, because it is convenient.
Sorry, this place treats its customers like cattle and couldn’t give a hoot about service. They force you into automated pay stations and never keep the counters staffed - when we know all it’s so much easier (from a customers perspective) to have someone pack your bags and scan the items, especially at these prices!!! It’s strange that Woolworths pricing seem to vary from store to store based on their own market research Then when you ask for customer service you’re made to feel like a second class citizen….. oh and try and call the store in advance to check if there is stock of an item - No one answers the phone! Staff here and Woollies are a joke - just wish there was an alternative close by
Very bad experience here. When I came to pick up a delivery order, a woman wear glasses at online department who didnt even check first!!! and said she doesn't know. Don't care about the order and just walk away picking and very rude customer service. The woman who wear a glasses without name tag with green vest. I can understand how busy the orders are and less staffs like the woman told us but that shouldn't mean you treat delivery drivers poorly!!!
Quite like this woollies, huge range, especially things like cheese, free range eggs and pre-made meals, although some things are on the pricey side, the specials are still there though. Scan and Go is a great option. However, there is virtually no mobile phone signal so I have to remember to load any info and e-gift card numbers before I enter so I've taken off a star.
For such a glamourous store this is a distressing store. Staff at checkout are too busy checking online orders. The device alerts are extremely loud and cause a lot of distress for those with sound sensitivity. I have never experienced this in any of the surrounding stores. I would expect when the store is almost empty it to be a quiet time.
A smaller woolies that have managed to cram a lot into one space. They are experimenting with lots of things such as bread made in house, pizzas and curries. Most of their products they've opted for are the more expensive alternatives which is frustrating. All of the self checkouts are card only.
The self serve checkout here is a joke. Always requires assistance to Check my bags when scanning. Their “urban garden” where they grow herbs in store is also a bloody rip off. $3 for one strand of basil. Everywhere else you get a nice bunch for the same price if not cheaper.
I cant beleave how terrable the service is here. when the check out machines don't work there are no staff around to help ( literally all staff where fownbrhe backbof the shop , Two of the them on their phones) I had to ask twice for help as I was ignored by the phone users.
The staff is so insulting and arrogant . The slim white tall guy is so unnecessarily rude when he should not be anything but a polite worker.. placed the bag on the ground and told me to pick up from there or leave. There were 8 bags. On september24,, around 11:40 am
There’s something really delightful about this new Woolies in Erskineville/Alexandria. Great layout and just the right size to be able to do your weekly shop in if you want. With all the new builds going up in the area it comes as a welcome addition for us locals.
Great selection of quick lunch options, always well stocked and love the free coffee offer with purchases over $30. Normally I would question a place with a balloon archway entrance (it's so easy for a balloon archway to look tacky), but their one looks classy.
I love this new addition to Woolworths. Smaller in size but I love the quality extras. A few lines I miss but 90% of what I need. With a free coffee and very fresh fruit, sushi, veg and bakery, together with friendly, helpful staff, I have become a huge fan!!
Good little Woolworths, has things like pizza (2 4 $20 with garlic bread Fri and sat) sushi and in house cooked bread ( delicious olive). As expected with little Woolies doesn't have everything. Be wary no cell service inside
I like this supermarket and prefer it to the Alexandria one. While it’s smaller it just have a better layout and better quality products. Love the bread and butter project. Great selection of meal choices for quick meals.
We only get the bare basics here. As a Woolworths Metro, it hasn't got the range as a full sized store. Sure, the selection of quality goods was great but I'd rather do the bulk of my shopping at ALDI - they're cheaper.
Has the best parking options out of all the depressing metros in the area plus there are toilets in the building which is handy. Hardly any staff.. I often see schoolkids in uniform shoplifting here and no one notices.
So glad this opened around the corner from me. Small in terms of size but you still get a great range of artisanal food. Much of the food is ready to eat, perfect for a quick lunch, I even got curry and rice once.
Staff are very friendly and attentive. It is a very nice new store but does not seem to have the range of s regular Woolworths. That said I am not used to the layout as yet. Has a bottle shop on site
Terrible experience with the staff Specially with Coffee was horrible Staff and manager was very route and the Lucky that the good job Extremely disappointed from woolworths …
Great woolies with awesome extras like the bread & butter bakery, great sushi bar, pizza/curry section. Disappointed there is no soft plastic return or deli/seafood counter.
Convenient store with a lovely fit out and premium products, but markedly more expensive than neighbouring stores (Alexandria and Marrickville Metro) for identical items.
Most ANNOYING supermarket I've ever been to! Constant 'ding ding ding' sounds from the Milkrun/Uber delivery counter.. does my head in.. please stop!!
Good local supermarket with a good range, including the nicest sourdough around from the in-store bakery. Stock levels can be hit and miss sometimes.
Good woolworths, small but offers up all you need. A bit bougie but that offers up some nice things you might not find so easily at other Woolies.
Great new Woolworths Metro. Helpful staff and the bread fromthe social enterprise bakery (inside), the Bread & Butter Project is delicious...
Very poor mobile signal inside the store. Was unable to make any calls and neither check anything on my phone once I was inside the store.
As a delivery boy they are v rude to me n others too! Not satisfied wd staff behavior too! I want the one who' manage this take an action
The last two times I've bought pastries from the cabinet they've been stale. Refresh your produce. I'm not paying for old crusty food.
Helpful and friendly staff. Great selection of lunch and single person servings. In store bakery, pizza, sushi and cafe with hot food.
A majority of the time the time they don't have enough staff and you're standing around waiting for someone to serve you.
Small store, need to get staffing levels sorted out. Staff are good, but can be hard to get service if needed.
Well stocked, many ready to cook meals for the busy individual, also selling daily hot dish. Easy parking.
Very poor customer service so disappointed. Especially when you try to redeem their free coffee Good luck
Catered for people who think microwave meals are normal. Marketed for foodies, it’s basically McDonald’s
I liked it as it was close and lots of other great shops in the same building. Bonus
For a Metro store it is actually much larger than the average Metro store
Great supermarket with fresh produce and meat. Also has good specials too
I hate shopping here with the self checkout and zero actual staff to help
Well thought out for the position. A little exy but you'd expect that.
Patchy product selection; often out of basic products. Short-staffed.
It's a great place to do a quick shopping. Instagram @wilsonpersonal
Don’t have good bags, price expensive, and don’t have options…
No staff!! I person doing self serve and click and collect.
Lovely supermarket Bit pricey but has many gourmet choices
Inefficient pickup service. Should improve operations!
Terrible service Never have nothing at hot food…
Convenient to avoid big shopping centres
Small and convenient Lovely staff
Good selection more than most :)
No recycling of soft plastics.
It's open. It's schmick.
Parking is a little hard
Love the opening hours
