Great location, good selection of essentials, fantastic friendly helpful staff, However... ZERO STARS to the manipulation into getting people to use self check out machines. So they still have a couple of check out with real people, but they put up some ridiculous machine that doesn't allow the staff to receive the money for payment, we have to put the money into the machines   really? What a sneaky way, trying to train people into stop real life experience of shopping by replacing people with machines, and this way training people half way there, probably to remove the people from it in no time after everybody are "well trained" into using self check out machines. BIG FAT NO TO THIS. WE ALL MUST SAY TO THESE CORPORATIONS TRYING TO REPLACE HUMANS WITH MACHINES. WE AS CONSUMERS HAVE THE POWER TO REJECT THIS. THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO KEEP HUMANITY ALIVE AND TRADITIONAL VALUES GOING FOR NEXT GENERATIONS, BEFORE EVERYONE GETS DISCONNECTED BEYOND SALVATION.

Every time I visit this store I am pleasantly surprised how polite, helpful and hardworking their staff members are. If you are looking for something there is always a staff member to offer their help. The store is quite big, clean, tidy and well presented. You can find practically everything you need for your grocery shopping from fresh fruits to hot food and coffee. I want to compliment these staff members who I have often met for their outstanding customer service: Gina, Twinkle, Mandeep, Jasper, Mimi and Swarupa at the checkout. On Friday nights they have specials because the store is closed on the weekend and they discount many products. I love bread and have bought delicious Italian and other continental breads, fresh gourmet sandwiches, pastries and cakes at great prices. I would highly recommend this store for their excellent customer service and great products, thank you so much!

We were backpacking around Sydney in a budget and couldn’t afford any restaurants!!! So we came here and for the price of one person for dinner we got dinner, breakfast and lunch for two for the same price! Everything looked fresh. We got a quarter chicken (just a few hours old) for 2AUD! Bread is reasonably priced and we got peanut butter and jelly to go with it for all under 10aud and that will make at least 5 sandwiches. The “dreamy chocolate cookie 5 pack” in the bakery is to die for!!

Convenient but small sized Woolworths. product range around a third of what you would expect from a full size Woolworths. does tend to get quite busy around lunch time which means long queues. Small range of gift cards available. Has a good range for quick and easy lunches, from sandwiches and salads, to hot pies and wedges. Range tends to vary regularly, so you can't take it for granted that the particular item you bought one week will be there the next.......

These is a great Woolworths store for the worker on the go. It has hot food available early (I've gone at 7am and there is hot chicken, wings, fresh sushi etc) and also great baked goods that I don't get in my regular suburban Woolworths. There is barista coffee available all day. There are no assisted check outs with a traditional worker unless you go to the stand attached with the Coffee station. They will serve you here and staff are very friendly.

A good sized Woolworths located in the bottom basement level of Sydney Met Centre. All the normal range of Woolworths brands and products you would find at your local store. Lots of specials on when I visited, including 50% off large boxes of M&Ms, Toblerone & Lindt chocolate blocks. Fresh fruit & vegetables very good quality across the board. Lots of check-out and self service machines makes this place a quick place to stop during busy lunchtimes.

Wheelchair accessible however…it’s the weirdest entrance! Go into the main Metcentre, catch the lift down to level 3. When you get out it looks like a dead end but there is a random door to the right of the lift - enter through that door. You have to push it so it may be heavy if you have lower hand function. You have to seek assistance to get back out as the door gets stuck which wasn’t a problem, staff were great and helpful :)

Very convenient store, fresh products but the lady at checkout needs retraining as she treats local customers and foreigners differently-she says “Thank you” to local customers but shows a grumpy face to foreigners, which destroys shopping experience. Seems she hasn’t realised she’s doing customer service. Even if she doesn’t like foreigners, she shouldn’t have behaved like that at work.

This place is just amazing. It is simply a one stop place where you will find every basic thing starting from food, utensils, stationary, toiletry, healthy food, fruits and veggies and etc. And all this in a reasonable price which is amazing. This metro also makes fresh sushi and hot served coffee, cakes. I highly recommend this place.

While the store is very nice and clean, I was disappointed about the staff, nobody knows anything about the bakery products, I asked about ingredients / allergens list and they simply don't have it or don't care enough to find out. I asked two people, one at the bakery and another one at the cafe, same response :(

A store to capture the passing foot traffic, this store seems to focus on the fresh food side and very little on the packaged grocery side, they have some, but not much. At the checkout, this store is mostly self serve with only a few staff members at the cash registers but more during the lunch and evening peaks.

Good supermarket, has mostly improved since the last time I was there maybe a year ago, however the lighting is terrible. I was in there 5 mins and got a splitting headache and was blinded intermittently as I walked past each downright . I would definitely suggest lower wattage bulbs.

Great location, good variety esp for professionals working in the cbd. Been going here for a a couple of years before work as needed. The staff aren't great, they're usually bored / distracted / border-line angry but fortunately there are a lot of self serve check outs

  • Li Konig

Very convenient and great location. For those who visit this store for the first time, please enter the food mart and take escalator down two levels. You basically could find everything there at very reasonable price. And you can use credit card without extra charge.

  • Penny Sarantis

Appalling service. Incorrect prices on goods. Despite admitting this was the case i was still charged the non disclosed price. Service at the counter was over 10 minutes for one price check during a period the store was quiet and not busy. Rude and apathetic staff.

  • Mitchell Scott

Extortionate prices from one of Australia’s biggest supermarkets - prices are advertised cheaper online and at regular Woolworths than they are in metro stores. Another clear show of price gouging from Woolworth, allowing more record profits for the company.

  • Chris Smith

Not a huge supermarket, but a good range of food for the daily essentials and your average weekly shopper. Huge queues at lunchtime (10-15 minute wait) but no queues at other times. Lots of hot fresh food (bread, rolls, cookies, roast chicken, roast veggies)

A suprisingly large store tucked away under the Met Centre. They have a good range of hot food available for grab and go lunch. They also had the on-sale eyeliner I was after which was unexpected, very pleased!!

  • Paul Lange

Good for some quick essentials on the way to the train. Not a large selection overall but the demographic probably doesn't have large requirements. Reasonable fresh fruit and veg selection

  • Ashraf Kandil

I was after halal turkey slices that I see at any Woolies however they didn’t have a Halal section all together and the staff weren’t caring. Not going back there anymore

  • Kylie Michelle

This store is a Metro only. Limited supply no gardening and very very limited cleaning, kitchen bathroom selection. Almost never has anything I am looking for

  • STEVEN ALEXANDER

Don't bother, I just go to Coles at Wynyard, it's conveniently located near the train station and I can also buy a hot meal or a fresh sandwich too.

  • Piya Colada

Used to go to the store every morning, staff are friendly and helpful. Store is clean and tidy, stocks are well organised.

  • jyothi reddy

Woolworths is the best shop and reasonable prices... Good store with limited range.

  • Jennifer Shakira

Great customer service, reasonable price, great range of groceries …

  • Troy K P

Great range and location, prices are nearly as good as at home.

  • Paty101

Nice staff and normal prices. The checkout was a bit confusing.

  • ricksen gunawan

Nice layout, especially the fridge layout, easy to shopping.

  • Ahmad Wamiq Ghowsi
