I am extremely upset at the service I got today ,I bought a few items from your infant department sale and non sale ,and when I got home about ten minutes later I saw one of the items were damaged ,I was in a rush and accept it was my fault for not checking .I called the store to see if they had another one in stock as I would like to exchange it ,I fully understand the policy that it was a sale item ,but all I asked was of they could hold it for an hour or so just so I can see to my baby and I'll come back , but they refused to .,they basically said that hopefully it's still there when I get there .I'm extremely disappointed as I was not asking them to keep it till tomorrow even ,what happened to Woolies so called amazing service ,if I did not have to first feed my 3 month old I would've been back immediately.but after the response I got I doubt I would we back.

Woolworths has always been my preference, especially food items. The branch in Westgate Mall seems like it's "just there", there is nothing attractive about it, nothing that psychological invites you into the store. It's just bland and dull, please don't take this as disrespect or insults - rather read it as a woolies lover wanting the best for your company. The food items are limited and there are hardly new items to try and buy. I more than often find myself having to drive out to get a variety of food items. The ladies at the pastry counter are always friendly and the quality of your food cashiers had somehow deteriorated. In closing: When shopping in Westgate Mall and I had a choice between Checkers and Woolies, without a doubt I will be shopping at Checkers because of the variation in my needed products. Tried to return a online order today only to be told I dont have a proper tax invoice that proves I paid for the item via my bank card and they cant help me. They tried to call online for an hour which they told me to come back as they cant help me due to no cash in the tills so early in the morning. Only to discover now myself the tax invoice you can view via the app which shows how I paid. They also trying to contact online with only my name and surname but no order number. The service was pathetic and the store was hot as hell.

I only visit Westgate Mall Woolworths store for emergencies. Woolworths store is pleasant, clean & service always good. Enjoy my shopping experience but I was not comfortable entering the Mall itself as it is was crowded..... long queues at the banks which obstructed the hallways and people in the queues not able to adhere to social distancing. This is a huge problem & needs to be addressed.

Wish they could have more of a variety like the big stores cause even Promenade is lacking. This is only from the food department. Little to no meat and food in the halaal sections. Get told on social media to inform the manager to order the things you require because they a not a big store however, managers are not even aware of this process. Customer service however is tops

Store is extremly hot hot unpleasant visit ,not the first time,...... and how does management expect the workers to work under such condition's . Its pathetic , invest in industrial fans if you cant affors to switch on the Aircon.Management you should be ashame of yourself. With the bacteria in the air they breed in warm humid conditions . Have not had any major complaints however the store in comparison to other areas is mediocre. I would like to know how one asks the store to stock additional products. Food specifically. Most cases people don't ask because they think it's standard practice not to stock because of the location. Would appreciate feedback on how to get you guys to take some suggestions.

Almost no variety of cheese, was looking for goats cheese, nothing, don't even sell it, in fact, most shelves aren't restocked, it's just left untidy and empty. Some cashiers look half asleep, and the queue going into the aisle already, but only 3 stations are open. Most cashiers greet when you leave, mine just put my slip down and signaled the next customer, BAD!!!

A quick dip in to grab some gifts for two parties. I was overwhelmed when ai saw 3for2 special. Now I am not selfish, but I must say I did grab the opportunity to get myself one too. Compliments of Wifey. Cam you ask for more. Plus the receivers were glad to receive too. It doesn't matter what we are going through, be always available to bless someone else.

I often find myself going here for last minute gifts or treats, BUT you won’t find me here doing my regular shopping. I know that for the market they may not need to have a lot of stock, but their variety sucks and the store feels dated. Woolworths Westgate needs an update, friendlier employees and some variety - then maybe they’d get a fourth star, haha.

This Woolworths is very basic does not have a variety of nothing here from the fresh produce to desserts is very limited and also I had a horrible experience where I had to literally search for fresh watermelon in the fridge and that most of the peaches that was there was bruised and the pack that I bought is literally bitter.

A very basic Woolworths store. They did not stock the item I was looking for, was advised to try a different store (Claremont, Canal Walk, etc). This is unfortunately the norm when shopping for specific items in lower-income areas. You're told to go elsewhere as only the most basic items are kept in stock.

Always have a problem with pricing. Have to always check my till slip to ensure prices are correct. They have also taken a few things such a serviettes off the list to sell.The range offered compared to other Woolworth stores has deminished. I would rather drive out to another store to get want I need

The worst, had security follow myself and friend everywhere as thou we attempted to steal only because the alarm went off when we walked in. They had a chance to check her bag but conitued to do so. We both come from retail and we know how it goes, this time being the customer it was terrible.

Selection of products can be improved. It's inconvenient to have to go elsewhere. Lay bye option can be improved. Staff capture the same details every time you laybye, why isn't it saved on the system. Also they don't accept card payments from Capitec. I would expect better from woolworths.

Indeed a store of class especially when there is a COUNTRY ROAD located in some of the Woolworths stores. The quality of their clothes is just as excellent as their food. Woolworths is located by the end of the middle entrance of the Mall as you enter. Friendly staff service.

On entry one is greeted by a warm unpleasant smell. Shelves are empty and unstocked as well. Worst Woolies experience in my life. Not recommended, will not be returning thank you! This store puts the whole chain to shame, and I can only imagine it's due to its location.

The food section has very limited items compared to other stores. The shelves are not restocked regularly. Some basic items were out of stock like sanitary products, hot chocolate to name a few. A couple of months ago the store was in great shape... now... not so much.

Couldn't find what I was looking for. Asked the manager if the lasagna is Halaal. He couldn't answered me... He said he's not sure... I bought pies. Was not too fresh though Woolworths are marked for quality and freshness almost... I didn't expierenced that yesterday.

I am so disappointed in the service I received yesterday to be honest I am sick to think this is how a person gets treated by this store staff . My number was taken and up until now no Manager has called me yet . It shows how little use think of use customers

Went to buy some meat and chicken at 2pm at 30% and had the till supervisor following my wife and I and looking in our trolly at our purchase and calls the foods manager. Seems that customers can not buy the 30% then more for the staff to buy

Gotta say I love woolies and this one was excellent, from a service perspective. Staff are visible and supportive. They helped my mom who has a crutch and made her shopping easy and comfortable without her feeling helpless. Great job guys.

Staff is always friendly and service 100%. Even the managers will be front line and available to assist you anywhere. I do think you should consider doing discounts in deli or hot section before closing. Thank you and well done woolies.

Good enough for the basics. Maybe not enough care taken with supply chain and ensuring expiring products are removed to waste like stores in more affluent areas. The cashiers and other staff are friendly and attentive, however.

It don't have as big a variety like the other branches, I asked 1 nale employee for something & he nonchalantly told me they don't stock it & it won't help if I request it from the manager. Needless to say I wasn't impressed

Always love going here. Well stocked and staff always pleasant. When woolies had their Snowflake Flour shortage, this branch had the flour and lots of it! Store is also clean and fresh feeling when walking through the doors.

Seriously... Your customer service tills... 3 till operators. The only tills open is a busy store. Surely you make enough money to employ more staff. Pathetic service.. I don't find this anywhere else but Westgate Mall.

Relatively a good store. However, the store has limited options compared to most branches. The area key... The service is pretty much the woolworths Standard... Service with a smile, even if they don't want to... LOL

Variety of good quality clothes. Range from women, mens and children clothes. Staff are friendly and help where needed. The store is clean and neat. Prizes are affordable and store have discounts on certain days.

Efficiently stocked store except for the soy yogurts. Please stock more of these, there is clearly a demand as its always sold out or always only one or two trays left when I check at this store.

Good specials from time to time. Good to shop for basic goods. Woolworths quality maintained. There are staff members who are friendly and others not. The cartrun app works with this Woolies.

I thought I would get a head start on school goodies, I managed to get socks and underwear for my girls... they had stock of everything and all sizes... The early bird catches the worm...

Was good shop wasnt full people were adherring to social distancing, but there was only 2 tills open in the foodmarket and the line was quite long other than that it was a pleasant shop

Pathetic service. They came out to say no more chickens its sold out by 1 o'clock on Sunday while other branches was still making more like Promenade Capricorn and Lakeside

The store is generally not so busy however the supermarket can be. Most of Woolies favourites are there but can get sold out pretty fast. Love Woolies anywhere!
