Bought $134.00 worth of groceries (barely a backpack's worth of items), went to the self serve checkout and the system took my money but didn't complete the transaction on the checkout end - stood around for 40 minutes whilst the poor staff tried to sort it out. Billion dollar company and they have to hold a loyal customer hostage until they can confirm the transaction went through on their end. Staff did nothing wrong - it's the store/company policy that is the issue. Zero trust for a loyal customer. They could have let me go home with my items right away and it wouldn't have mattered! Even if the transaction didn't go through; that's like 0.0000001% of Woolworths annual profits. My back hurts from standing around all that time. Staff apologised and I accept their apology. Woolworths as a company can bite me.

Absolutely appauling had less then 10 items and was expected to line up in 2 lines with big trolley full or go through self service register. I absolutely refuse to use them as your putting somebody out of work and you still get charged full price even though you do it yourself. Asked for manager and then the lady in charge of front end she said go onto 6 and I will put you through. It doesn't matter what supermarket you go it's the same thing everywhere, it's so frustrating. When is our government going to wake up and realize the stupid things that they are doing.

Woolworths at windsor has over the last three of floods provided a very large amount of food and toiletries to community members in a time of great need. I am a volunteer with Anglicare and have spent many days over the past 3 floods helping the local Community. Without the amazing committment from the management and the awesome staff, we would have been limited in the help we could offer to people in real need. The management and staff at Woolworths Windsor are amazing people who I believe are true HEROS. THANK YOU

Woolies is an amazing store but a visit is not so pleasurable anymore . It is too cold to tarry long and too confusing and frustrating a search to find some goodies you may have hoped for . Understaffed so you need to find your own way and to expect some delay at the deli counters and checkout when time to pay . The Fox .

  • wazr gee

disgusting service, stood in aisle for over half hour trying to find a product, didnt get any assistance until exiting shop when i was rudely accused of shoplifting and searched by staff outside of premises which i thought was illegal. now i only use them for eftpos withdrawals and nothing else. very disappointed

  • Bob Montgomery

First time at this store, all good except no staff on express checkout, I like many others flat refuse to use the self serve, a nice older gent let me jump in front of him at the regular checkout so I could pay for my one item. Only two stars from me, customer service failed me.

  • Sarah Adamski

Love Woolies at Windsor, staff are awesome and always ready to assist with anything they can, store basically has every thing you possibly could have and there products, meat, fruit and vegetables and every thing is always fresh and you save money on there specials every week.

  • Helen Hickey

I usually go here to get drinks and sometimes munchies...when I'm in the mood. The are friendly and go out of their way to help out all their customers. Good place to shop and it's right near my favourite sushi place and a fabulous Indian takeaway shop called Nargis.

  • Lea Turner

Lovely lady at the deli counter. I said I wanted a handful of shaved ham of the bone, she did not look at me queer, once handful was on the scales did not question my method how refreshing lady next to me ordered 300 grams it was weighted meticulously lol

  • Narelle A

Didnt where to post this as not sure this is Windsor fault but this is what i purchased yesterday. U pay alot of money for bacon. I thonk this was $12.99. Look at what u get. How are Woolies aloud to sell bacon like this. So unfair. All thos is unedible.

Today i went to this Woolworths at around 2:30-2:40 and was checking out at self service, when this old white lady with glasses that was working there came up to me in the middle of my transaction and asked to check my bag in a rude tone

  • HabashyGaming

Great place to shop but often adolescents come and steal chocolates from there and stuff. The staff know and they monitor them but they eventually make a run for it and the staff run after them. Other than that it's a great place to shop

  • Melissa Nobes

The fresh produce section was nearly empty, I've never seen it like that before. There were 8 bananas on the display, no green grapes in bags, no raspberries. There were so many sections empty. All you could see was black plastic.

  • Sandra Jorgensen

Very clean and easy to shop, and more space to get around with a walker, helpful and friendly staff and you can buy everything you need in the store. Having the bws close also helps you complete your shopping in one place. Sandy.

  • Paul Brennan

Great store with a great range of products, including fresh vegetables. The freezer section was short of numerous products during my visit but this may have been rectified with the next truck. Checkout staff were very polite

  • Fay Weber

  • GLEN EDWARDS (Glenno)

Had my bag inspected and products purchased from another shop, being Coles that my partner purchased earlier in the day and no receipt, the staff took the items from me and demanded I produce a receipt for them. How rude.

  • Anna Lai

I Think The Woolworths At Windsor Needs Renovating It Is Looking Very Old And Needs A Major Renovation It Hasn’t Been Renovated For 10 Years It Needs Renovating To Make It Look Modern.

  • Judy Kraus

Good variety of produce, fresh vegs. Still too much unnecessary plastic packaging, not many true Australian products, no aust tuna. Pleasant staff, a few manned checkouts.

  • Onno Paap
