Worst experience! We booked ahead of time, showed up on time, and it took more than 30min for staff to get us started. Staff were frazzled, disorganized, kept stopping to help other customers instead of serving us and leaving us waiting. It took 3 different staff members to finally get us sorted so we could start our game. We then waited more than 35 minutes to be served at the coffee and food bar. Not one staff member came to the service area to help. We gave up and bought coffees at an outside shop as they did not serve us. We then had a staff member literally storm over, growl and verbally abuse us because we had brought in our own takeaway coffees. Absolutely disgusting attitude, screaming at us and leaving our group feeling very unwelcome and appalled. I explained we were not served for more than 35 minutes and she continued to be rude, nasty and yell. We will Never come here again. My friends will Never come here again and I will proceed to make a formal complaint to the ACCC and the owners of X Plosion Bar and Bowl. A horrible way to spend the school holidays with our kids.

A much needed addition to Melton City. As you walk in you're greeted with arcade machines on your left with the bowling lanes straight ahead and a nice lounge area on your right with a pool table room to the corner of the building. Everything is reasonably priced and there's a happy medium with the centre being family focused but also a place for a night out with a few drinks. If I was to sum the entire centre it would be like this. The whole centre feels incomplete. There's good execution but it feels like there could be more. Maybe more space between each lane so you're not clashing with the group next to you, some more artwork to make the area feel less plain and bland.

Was our first time here and went as a Family. Seems to be a place with great potential BUT sadely it also looks like a local hang out which doesn't make this place a Family friendly environment. We finished our game and didn't have any time to organise and leave before another Family is right there in our space. More organisation, more staff as we waited for drinks and gave up as it had 1 Female working alone so they lost money on Drinks. Nothing stops a massive group of trouble makers walking in freely and running what could be a great place to frequent with the Family. More gang friendly! And get rid of the cheap string managed pins as we seen it has faults in game

Horrible experience! Made a booking called to confirm on the day they said there was no booking but the “manager” could fit us in to then arrive and them tell us only half the people could play. Then said oh no wait we booked you at 8pm because 5pm would have been full. When booking confirmed multiple times for 5pm. Not great customer service manager was making a child deal with the situation. After going there many times since opening. Not a place I’ll be going back to. Which is a shame as we are regulars there and spend a large amount of money attending with friends and family. Trip To water gardens for better service and management!

Went here for a recent night out. Value for money is good. Easy to get to location and plenty of parking out front or to the side. It’s definitely just a casual bowling ally however. The venue just needs a bit of maintenance. Bumper on one lane wasn’t auto going up, occasionally machine reading wrong pins to reset / how many dropped. Arcade machines were a mixture of not working, not accepting tokens or not printing correct tickets. More just an annoyance having to trouble stuff to get them to sort it out. However staff were friendly and honestly, if your looking for something to do or meet with friends. Well worth the visit.

It’s okay if you go play games but for the party, our experience was horrible. We booked specific room month in advance for 2 hours, confirmed multiple times with multiple people. Unfortunately, on the day, we were told the room we booked was not available and after 10 mins chat room was given also asked to be out of the booked room within 1.5 hours. There is no time for decorators to decorate the room, no time for people to eat with time and no the host sang a birthday song even if birthday girl wasn’t ready. It felt so rushed. It’s the only memory that will stay with the people came that day and not the birthday party.

Had my sons birthday party here a few weeks ago. Was very disappointed with the lack of communication and organisation they had. Our party was at 10.30 and after we finished bowling while waiting for the food there was a whole other party waiting out the front of the party room for us. They were also setting up this other party all while we were still waiting for the food AND hadn’t even started the cake yet. Our party host had absolutely no idea what he was doing, very clueless and unorganised. Unfortunately I will not be having another party here again, just lucky my son & his friends loved it.

Still no improvement from my initial review months ago. I used to love this place but has gone horribly downhill since open, you can see how little everyone especially the owners care. Horrible the way we were spoken to and threatened to be removed permanently for refusing to accept this behaviour. Original review; As a long term customer, I’m appalled at the way my friends and I were treated for my birthday party. The night was entirely ruined and 2 members of the party paid for yet never got to bowl, nor got a refund. Very disappointed in the service and attitude from a particular staff member

Had a night out with a mate and his family and my family.. the bowling was great fun and having the automatic bumpers for the kids was great. For a Saturday night I feel they could have used an extra staff or so to man the bar. Had to go back to bowling a few time when waiting to order drinks.. prices were quite reasonable for 2 games. We will be back again soon. Update.. had a Boys night rocked up at 9pm got on a lane for 2 games the staff were very helpful and great behind the bar. They gave us plenty of notice before the bar closed. Great night

Only 1 staff member on and place was busy, we had a party of 9 and half way through our game we had issues with the scoreboard and then lane not clearing, moved to another lane which also had computer issues, couldn't get a refund just a voucher to be used within a month, so we cancelled game , service girl was trying to help but being here by herself and a manager she called on phone was less than helpful, we had to pay for our second game and lost our 1st, last time we come here do not recommend

I just want to say a massive thank you to Sue and the team at Xplosions today. We were meant to have my sons birthday party at another venue who cancelled the party 2 days before. We were lucky to be able to book a couple of lanes and hold the party at the bowling alley. Sue was wonderful to deal with and was so helpful to get all the kids in and organised for their games. We really appreciate all the help and accomodations us. The kids had a ball and we will definately be back. Thanks team

Drinks were overpriced, prizes were just terrible something I could get at a dollar store. And it was very messy the bathrooms were very unclean . The game machines kept breaking down. Although I feel like this place is doing the best they can do and does need all the support they can get seems like not many people go here by the traffic going in and out this place. So I suggest just giving them a try and support them for the sake of supporting struggling workers. The stuff are very sweet

We had my daughter 6th birthday today, the staff were all really lovely, it was busy but the party manager Jack was really kind to the kids and attentive to them when they were bowling. Also was well priced, and looks like they have updated some of the machines recently. The kids all had a blast and they weren't forcing us out the moment the party time ended so we had a chance to play all the arcade games. Thankyou Jack and the rest of the staff my daughter had a great birthday party

Tonight at 8.45pm we took the kids to melton bowling place to play a couple games in the arcade until we were informed that because they close at 10pm they had turned off the token machine. We asked the girl why this is and she said management approved the protocol to shut the token machines off over an hour before close because if they didn’t people would just keep coming and coming and they had to close at 10pm. Needless to say we left with some very confused and upset children.

We had our daughter's 6th birthday party here with a couple of her friends & they had a blast. They were knackered after the first game but had to try their best to finish the 2nd game. The popcorn serving was pretty ridiculous, $5 for a handful which filled only half the popcorn cup. Save your money for getting any food there. However they were really excited to play on the arcades. There were quite a few faulty machines so it was long wait to get assistance.

It’s fast declining these days. Some of the arcade games are forever out of order, they are always understaffed. Please hire more knowledgeable staff or train your staff properly. Took over half an hour to get a game of bowling organised, seems no one knows what they are doin. Have one staff member cooking food, serving drinks and organising the bowling so expect to wait long periods of time. Could be some much better…

We had a kids birthday party there and it turned out to be an idea place to have one. You have your own room to use for a get together with presents, and then you go and bowl a few frames. Then you all use the provided tokens on the amusement games and back to your room to wind things up. It is really well set up and the pricing is fair. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great venue for a kids party.

Great fun for the family, even just to go with friends. Great snacks, very helpful staff too. The arcade and tickets could be better. Great birthday parties too. Also pool tables available if that's what your interested in. Fun night for kids and adults. Alcohol available for adults and other refreshments for kids. Plan to spend a couple of hours there for a good time. Not too expensive either.

The worse service by far. Always over staffed just for them to look at each other, act as if there's no customers and walks off every time when customers need to be served. The amount of times I've even heard them make fun of customers and their appearance is just beyond upsetting to hear or see. Food is so over priced just for it to taste like plastic. Hope the serves gets better!

This is a great fun place for all ages to have a go at Ten Pin Bowling. There are facilities to cater for all sorts of groups with catering for parties available. You can have light snacks, coffee or a glass of wine or beer as well as using the modern bowling facilities which are in excellent condition with computerized scoring. Will certainly be back we had loads of fun today

First time visit and I was pleasantly surprised, place was crazy busy, yet staff were good and pleasant, excellent variety of games, bowling was well organised, good pool tables and reasonable drink options. Ha ha. Food was a bit light on, but it is not a restaurant so it was pretty reasonable. I would give it a 4 out of 5 so we will be going back again!

We hired out the party room for our sons 10th Birthday party. Before the party started Nadia went above and beyond to make sure that when my son walked in there would be a smile on his face. Mikayla hosted our party and even though there was a big group of hypo kids she done such a good job of making sure all of the kids enjoyed themselves. 10/10!

I dont normally give feed back but I really do think this needs addressing we visited yr establishment on school holidays it was understaffed it took 35 minutes to get my coffee after I ordered it with a hot dog that came another 10 minutes to come, the coffee was cold so all up it took 45 minutes for a simple order

Went bowling with my wife and kids on a Sunday morning. It was great fun and the bumpers make it accessible for the kids. My only complaint is that my wife humiliated me and my 5 year old would have beaten me except he lost interest in the last frame but I don't think I can blame the venue for that.

Good fun for adults and kids alike. Good choice of snack food and drinks. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Also some arcade type games. Supplied plates, candles etc for corkage fee which was great as some places don't allow you to bring your own cake. All round fun evening had by all.

First time here with my son and we had a awesome time, also the staff are friendly the only thing is the food is a little bit on the expensive side of things but will be coming back with the family and highly recommended it. Thank you for a great experience keep up the great work.

Great facilities for the family or a night out with friends. Apart from the bowling lanes, they have a bar and pool tables. A small arcade area to kill time before bowling. Make sure to check it out when you have some spare time.

Would not recommend anyone go there, the service is a disgrace. They have so many works just standing always talking amongst themselves while us customers are always waiting to be served.
