I've used York on a few different occasions and the flowers were always beautiful, but I never ordered anything for myself. Today I picked up a small order for my hair for my very small wedding. Because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, and really couldn't do a very good job of describing what I was looking for, I was a little nervous on how they would turn out. They are perfect!! The florist gave me two different options that I could combine if I didn't like one or the other. It's hard to describe but it was a very creative idea! It's a very pleasant shop with direct involvement by the owner, who originally took my order. I didn't know he was the owner until I went back to take some hair pins like he asked, and one of the other florist told me who he was. Seems like a very tight knit family environment (which probably explains the extremely pleasant atmosphere, and the warm sincerity in the customer service). I won't go anywhere else.

This was a last minute, long distance order for a friend who is ill. I completed the order on line (so didn't talk directly to anyone) and the process couldn't have been easier! Just did one of the stock orders; it was quick, clear, and concise. I really appreciated all of the email follow ups as well--order confirmation, delivery receipt confirmation (with picture; the flowers were beautiful and as pictured). My friend really appreciated them! I'm sure their direct customer service is just as good as my on-line experience; if the need arises, I will definitely use them again!

I used York Flowers for my wedding and I can't tell you how pleased we were with the arrangements that York Flowers put together for the ceremony and reception. The service was outstanding and the arrangements that they put together for the ceremony and the bouquets were even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I only had a vague idea of what I was looking for with the flowers and they exceeded my expectations and put together the most gorgeous flowers for the wedding. I can't recommend them enough.

York Flowers is the only florist in town for me. From our wedding flowers 35 years ago, to all kinds of flowers for all kinds of purposes over the years, to maintaining the flowers outside of my office, York Flowers has always delivered amazing quality and beauty for me. Very helpful and personable staff like Anna really make the ordering experience easy and right-sized, and they always do what they say they will do, so I've never had a disappointment. I have never had a problem with any of the flower deliveries I've placed with York Flowers (in the 2 years I've been placing orders) whether they were local or out of state delivered. My orders have always been delivered on time and beautifully arranged as pictured on their website. Their staff are gracious and helpful, offering suggestions when I've placed my orders. Also the recipients of my orders have told me that York Flowers local drivers have acted very professional in their delivery.

Have been using York Florists for several years. I always find a good local florist at the location where I wish to send flowers. York also happens to be. located where I live. They have proved to be outstanding time and again.One recipient told me York's arrangement was the most lovely she had received. They have stood behind their service when they have made mistakes by sending the flowers a second time. Kudos to York Florists.

York Flowers and Bianca created a beautiful personal garland to honor my mother, a pianist. Without seeing my personal sketch, they created it from a written description, a photograph showing the "feel" of the piece, and a few other suggestions on color for roses. The setup was amazing and the photos are saved for memories. Bianca was tremendous to work with and offered caring and compassionate service at a difficult time.

Anna at York Flowers is INCREDIBLE. I spoke with her over the phone and sent her pictures of what I wanted for two arrangements. She emailed me multiple pictures of the shipment of flowers she received and asked me about different color options. I was SO happy with the final result. The price was very reasonable and her service was unparalleled. She even followed up via email to see if I was happy with the results.

I ordered funeral flowers from York and it was the best experience ever! They called ME to suggest a different better time that the flowers should be delivered (so that they are fresh for the funeral) WOW! And the arrangement that they brought was absolutely gorgeous! I google flowers near American University and York Flowers came up, it was was my daughter 21st birthday and living in Texas I wanted her to have something beautiful, WOW, were we surprised the flowers were delivered and my daughter said they were absolutely beautiful! I will not hesitate to order from York Flowers again, they were extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with.

They saved the day for me for a last minute, rather high-maintenance request. I had been aimlessly calling other DC-area florists to no avail, and York Flowers completely knocked it out of the park. The orchid arrangement was gorgeous, exactly what we asked for! They also managed to squeeze in a same day delivery right before closing. Cannot recommend them enough!

We ordered a Luxe Bright Bouquet through York for delivery to a friend in Nevada. The flowers helped accomplish their intent - bring some light where it was needed. The actual arrangement looked better than the photo that advertised it. The point is that York works with an excellent network of florists that can be depended upon outside York’s delivery area.

The flowers were delivered on time and the recipient loved them. I've attached a photo of the delivered bouquet. While they did not look quite as full or colorful as the website showed, that's likely based on the availability of specific flowers and colors. Overall great experience.
