Very friendly and efficient staff. We went during the day on Bank Holiday Monday, it was quite busy but we easily got a table for two. There are quite a lot of pizza and pasta options, not a lot of vegetarian options but there are enough. Food arrived hot and we only waited about 15 minutes for it. With our drinks, we were given complimentary crisps.

Space was at a premium we both backed onto others and apologies for knocking etc were common. The waiters were so keen to clear the table they took my unfinished dinner and on a separate occasion my unfinished drink. Both were returned but it did not make for a restful meal feeling that they were trying to kick us out, after only 30 minutes! Also theycouldn't scann the bar code for the free garlic bread, they have to have the number instead as their machines are so old, that went for the Zillionaores ID as well. My partners food was fine but my gluten free fish pasta was dry and heated through in a manner suggestive of bad microwaving. Also the side salad (not cheap) was just some lettuce with caesar salad dressing on. Sorry but we're not returning any time soon.

This Zizzi's has such a relaxed atmosphere and the food is always gorgeous. Last time I visited, the lady who served us was very patient and returned one of the dishes I ordered to the back of the restaurant so that it could be kept hot while I waited for my friend to arrive - which I am extremely appreciative of. It seems the workers here are hardworking and always go out of their way to ensure customers recieve an excellent service. Overall I always have a lovely experience at this restaurant and I will continue coming back!

We were told there were no nuts in the recipes but there were lots of dishes with pine nut garnishes although these don't affect all people it is worth being aware of. They do have an app to show the ingredients for people with allergies was difficult to read and in table format, you can't search or see what's in what dish easily. But it was a good idea just needs to be a bit easier to read.

Absolutely awful place, worse Zizzi chain I have ever been to (I usually enjoy food at Zizzi). The chips were cold, and the pasta dishes were clearly microwaved. It was not a particularly enjoyable game, having to guess whether my next mouthful would be warm or cold, perhaps they should invest in a better microwave. When informing the manager politely that the food was no very nice she ignored us. She cleared the rest of the table without saying a word - after being very chatty. The service was shocking, not only down to the rude manager but the staff themselves obviously hated their jobs and did not hide it. The waitress was like a ghost clearing the table swiftly without noise, and whispering and immediatley running off when she spoke to us.

+ Great tasting food, love the cozy atmosphere and the smell of Italian herbs and spices in the air. I don't mind the QR code scanning to order, but I prefer the traditional way of ordering, since it's more personal and you can ask the staff questions about the menu. - While waiting for someone to take us to our seats, a few staff members walked by, but didn't even look at us. It doesn't hurt to be kind and salute the customers. Prices could be a bit lower as well. Overall we had a really good time and appetising food. Please bring back the pollo spinaci calzone as it was delicious and my girlfriend was a bit disappointed not to see it on the menu anymore.

Ate at Zizzi yesterday and it was a really good experience. We chose from the 3 course tasting menu which we expected to be small portions but the plate sizes were actually decent and we left quite full. Codey was excellent, my husband had ordered a dish that turned out to be really spicy and when he mentioned it to her, she offered an exchange straight away as she wanted to ensure it didn't ruin his experience. The food was brough to the table quickly, there was no waiting around between courses. Would definitely eat here again.

Visited Zizzi's to support the Eat In plan. Booking was straightforward and when we arrived had a great welcome from the staff especially the Manager who has served our family for years and looks after us so well .Service was excellent considering how busy it was and food was the best ever! We need to support such businesses. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the waitress that served us. The Manager never stops working and is a real credit to your company especially how she serves the public and treats staff too!! Excellent. People just arriving outside were not turned away either although I suppose this depends on how busy they are. Well done!

When we came into town recently to go to a theatre matinee. We decided to come in early, do some shopping and have a light lunch here beforehand. Staff were very friendly and the service was very good. We had a cheeky glass of wine each and a sharing platter with deli meats/cheese and a side of rosemary sea salt chips which were lovely and then they have the most gorgeous desserts menu! Will come back again, was a very enjoyable day.

Food terrible not prepared for allergy intolerance, no choice off milk for coffee. I've struggled to make order because there was no proper gluten free menu to look at it and enjoy choosing your food, not even online, no gluten free or lactose free desserts at all no sides and starters . I ordered pizza ended up burnt and been given meatballs on side even that I said I didn't want anymore since my pizza got meatballs on it . Meatballs very salty and peppered heated with canned plum tomatoes. Overall stuff didn't listen very well for Customer needs and disappointed short variety of choice. Not coming back to this specific one . Left hungry

Staff was very dismissive towards us as soon as we walked in. Manager was at the main door, she looked at us and looked back away. after a wait she finally acknowledged us and said someone will be with you in a moment. After sometime she shouted across the restaurant for a rude server to come over and seat us. Given a menu, as to which most of the menu was unavailable. Unhelpful and unprofessional staff and service. Could also see the chef touching face at the same time as preparing food. Very unhygienic. Took our custom elsewhere. Would not recommend

A lovely restaurant for lunch or dinner. A menu featuring some classic italian meals including rustic pizza's and fresh pasta dishes. Went here with a voucher that was bought for us, disappointed to tell the truth. The menu was extremely limited as we had a voucher had practically 2 choices of each course, and even some of them they had ran out of. The lad on the front door was kind and inviting, however the rest of the staff didnt seem to know what they were doing and were more focused on getting you out the door from the get -go rather than meet basic hospitality standards. The food was ok at best nothing special. Unfortunately will not be returning.

Manager claims she worked here for 16 years but doesn’t know her %%^ from her elbow strutting around the place not knowing what the chefs are cooking ordered prawn creamy linguine, when it came it was aubergines and prawns completely different but then being adamant that I was in the wrong when I specifically came here before, why would you get defensive when the customer is explaining what he had instead of fixing it and getting the chef to remake it it’s a problem. Absolutely s%*# customer service

Staff ate just fantastic so friendly and come at the right time, food is just so good! Have a good selection too by all my favourite restaurant!!! Well done zizzi

Nice relaxed atmosphere inside with lovely decor and the waitress was really prompt and polite. Food was excellent couldn't find fault with it. It was a beautiful sunny day so could of sat outside so it was nice to have that option. The only thing wrong was the table we were seated at kept wobbling which is something I hate when eating out it's something establishment's should check for and fix. Other than that I would recommend Zizzi for great food in a nice atmosphere

I pre-booked a table at Zizzi Highcross today to be told that from 19/01/22 they no longer accept Tesco Clubcard Vouchers in payment. Indeed, on checking, it is now in the small print, but why take this decision? Very disappointed, so left and went to Bill's instead-great meal, charming staff and 1st class service-highly recommended! Tesco shoppers be warned- spend your vouchers elsewhere.

We stopped here for lunch on Sunday and shared a sharing platter and some chicken kebabs. We were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. Food and drink service was fast and efficient and the sharing plater with meats, chese and breads was really very good. Would recommend.

We visited here on Wednesday 18th of August, we were greeted at the door the menu was explained, sanitisation was clearly explained too. The food was fantastic, tasty and the service excellent. The 3 of us had starters, main courses and a couple of soft drinks the bill came to 35 pounds thanks to the eat out to help out scheme. Would definitely recommend.

Consistently good restaurant, friendly staff, table service. Not too busy that it felt overcrowded. Food is really good. Would recommend booking however on this occasion I had issue booking online - with errors on the booking form (it happens) so ended up with several bookings at different times (+ I called in) - quickly resolved by the staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff who were very attentive but not overbearing. Really impressed with not being referred to as 'guys', thank you. Had 3 courses and enjoyed each course. Popped in by chance and from the moment we walked in we had excellent service. Friendly, warm and welcoming. Food was fast and scummy too. Loved it.

Me and my brothers went to Zizzi Leicester Highcross. It was lovely food and me and my brothers had a great night together in years. The Honeycomb cheesecake was delicious as usual.

Great meal the only downside is the vouchers on the app dont work so they wouldn't honour them even though they were in date

Amazing friendly staff. Good food! Garnish with the seabass had a burnt taste. Delicious Italian pasta (strozz pestro ros). Special passion punch drink rehydrates you fully.

Visited Zizi’s for the first time with a couple of friends today and our waitress Codey was so lovely and helpful the entire time :)

Trendi looking place, the menu is great. I had a fab salad and garlic bread. The bread was light and fluffy. The salad was really lovely with pumpkin and courgette.

Fantastic pizza! My partner's chicken Milanese looked like a giant turkey dinosaur, but still tasted good.
