lady at the felt counter made me and my friend feel super unwelcome over taking a photo.... so if you go in i advise not to take any lmfao... we had a long look around and didn’t find anything we wanted. on the way out we took a photo in the open change room as it’s quite funky. she calls out some comment to us about how “it would be nice if we asked first” we apologised and just explained it was a cool looking area. and really? its not against the law to take a picture somewhere nor doing any harm. she then asked if we’d be posting it on instagram or facebook and expects us to tag the shop as “she doesn’t pay $8,000 in rent for nothing” it was a very uninviting vibe and was quite awkward all over a photo..... i love vintage stores but really turned off from this one.
This store is like if someone went into every thrift shop in Sydney and compiled the funkiest and most unique items, thereby saving the shopper from having to search for hours just to find a couple of zesty things. The clothes are definitely on the pricier side, but it's all reasonable and totally worth it. These items are super unique and one of a kind, nice staff and good vibe. Totally worth a browse if your in the area, and even if you have to drive a bit to get here.
This shop and the.people who run it are complete rip offs. I put aside an expensive item and they laughed at me when I had a domestic violence situation and asked kindly if I could get out of lay-by and have money refunded as the situation was urgent. She lies and says Powerhouse Museum are interested in clothes you want to buy. Had some creep follow me around the shop as if I was a thief, when they are. Domestic Violence is not a laughing matter!!
Extremely over priced, no clothing item in this shop was under $50. Even a flimsy grandmas hat that was basically a piece of fabric that you would find in a Vinnies for $2 was $60. Overall this is a great place if you want to window shop, but if really want to get some rad pieces for reasonable prices from the 70s and 80s go to C's Flashback.
Amazing place! So much beautiful stuff. The angel that works there with the beautiful brown hair and perfect fringe was so so helpful and calming and let me charge my phone as it was on 2 percent!! Obsessed.
Awesome vintage shop. The best I’ve been too. Amazing unique original vintage clothes and the staff are so friendly and nice too..
Incredible little place. Well priced, well sourced pieces. The owners are obviously very passionate and knowledgeable.
Great store. Found some beautiful vintage garments and the store owner was friendly and helpful.
Great range of vintage stuff and friendly staff!
