I have rent many different properties in the past and this is the first time I have met such a professional and involved team. Starting with Alexi, the Property Manager: we met for the first time at an open inspection. As I was not interested by this property, he tried to get to know us and asked for our criteria. He called me back a couple of months later to introduce me another property. We had a personalized phone call so he could understand exactly what were my expectations. Then he reached out to me to organize a private inspection of the property that was completely matching all my criteria. He explained me clearly all the process to apply to rent the place and he has been really fast to get an approval. He is really responsive to all messages and phone calls and is always available to please his clients. Then Paige, the Assistant Property Manager, was liaising with me to make sure our entry in the new place was smooth, from handover of the keys, to the condition report and any issue to fix, she has been very responsive to make sure everything is sorted quickly. Do yourself a favour… . When it came to selecting the agent to sell my property I had a bit of a head start - I had ‘behind the scenes’ exposure to most of the agents in the area having had worked as a supplier to them a few years ago. What this meant is that I experienced first hand how they genuinely operated their business; how they talked about and to vendors and buyers and generally what type of agent and agency they were. That is why it was very easy for me to choose Andrew and his team when selling my own place and they did not disappoint. Andrew loves property, people and the local area and this is obvious when dealing with him. He has built an efficient, friendly yet professional, reliable team who work hard and want to kick goals and look after you very well during this time (that can be very stressful for many of us). Steve is an absolute gun. As Steve describes, there is no BS here. You’ve heard it all the before from real estate agents, though with Steve’s process you quickly learn it to be true. The rollercoaster of buying, other interested parties, building reports, heaving inspections is unavoidable. Though to have a man in the middle that’s as good as Steve makes things remarkably easier. Things I noted from the sale: 1. I can see clearly, he firstly does the right thing by his client. They had a dream price in mind and he achieved it. 2. Steve is straight down the line with pricing feedback. He simply passes on the relevant information to help you make decisions. 3. He picked up the phone every time I called him night and day. 4. He does everything he says he’ll do 5. We were the winning bidder pre auction, though I can see clearly he was fair too all parties making bids. He never played us off against other bidders. 6. His client was obviously very happy. As were we. You can’t ask for much more than a big win for all parties and Steve diligently and honestly works towards that at every stage

Wow, we have been so impressed with the complete service from start to finish. To start we contacted Andrew and Ali to get an appraisal last minute, as we had a sudden decision to put the house up for sale. When they understood it was urgent to get the property on the market asap. Andrew drove straight to the property within 20min. The team then had an appraisal written up, furniture organised and contract ready to sign within the hour. This has to be a record, we couldn't believe the efficiency of Andrew and Ali! We had a long campaign and the agents really dug deep and always made sure we were informed with all aspects of marketing. I wouldn't even rate them one but need to in order post this. Don't rent a property from them.... or give them your management. In the two plus years I paid in excess of $1500 per week, they replaced nothing and blamed us as tenants for all the maintenance to the property and pool etc. and no bond returned. Property Manager Barbara never returned emails or phone calls.....at all, and entered the property at her own convenience. There were building works that they only engaged a part time builder to complete on weekends, over 6 weeks, with no compensation. On our vacate the property manager Barbara McKay arrived 3 hours early and locked the house with belongings still on the property... and still not returned. When trying to contact them at the end of our tenancy we were simply 'deleted' as contacts. Find another agent!

Firstly, I don't understand why Home estate agents have only 3 stars. Not enough people take the time to commend a business when it's deserved, yet find the time to get "revenge" when they don't receive bond back due to lack of respect for the property in witch they've stayed! In my 4 years of dealing with both the Maroubra and Bronte offices, I've had nothing but a positive experience! I've rented many properties managed by this agency and any issues or concerns I had were handled promptly,efficiently and with care. 5͏ Star Performance I would highly recommend Stephen Cachia to anyone thinking of selling their place or looking for someone to manage their rental. He has done both for me and I could not fault him. Disappointed in the lack of response and attention to any calls or emails. After Mascot towers had been evacuated there has been no response from the property manager or any agent. THIS IS APPALLING SERVICE . Please save your self the hassle to go with agents that have no communication during the process of emergency evacuations and only after getting business but no customer service or support for tenants or owners. No support or call has been given to us since almost 2 weeks on what is happening when we can return and what is the next actions for our future as we have no home. All our belongings in our home we need that we can not get and no solution, seriously would not recommend your business to anyone .

I've been with Home for over 6.5 years and wouldn't change. On a day to day basis it's great and Andrew, who runs the company is amazing. However, as the company has grown and with staff turnovers the experience of tenancy change has dropped. I recently changed tennants and had expressed to the manager I'm not in a position to have a vacant property so was dissapointed to see my latest rental statement where the new tenant has pushed out the start date by 2 weeks without my knowing. It's made life tougher as I had budgeted on a different cash flow. I'd still sign with this agency in a heartbeat as the next agreement period will he a dream.

I had a good experience with Andrew buying a home that will be mine to start a family. The property came on the market but I had a holiday planned before the first inspection, he organised me to view the property before I went away and we communicated while away. He wasn't pushy and allowed me to relax on my trip which I really appreciated. Property Manager has a tendency to provide false details regarding the apartment in a bid to rent out a property. I was told I could park my hilux ute in any car space at a complex - this wasn't the case and subsequently had to park on the street after signing the contract. Now trying to get a bond return. Property Manager has lied about the timing and amount of rental bond return. Very frustrating. Don't deal with them!
