Was in the area visiting from out of state for an event. As my hometown doesn't have a brick & mortar Allen Edmonds store, I was beyond excited to come in and shop in-person rather than online. The store was clean, I found what I was looking to buy, and was intending to purchase several more pairs of shoes. Unfortunately, I just didn't have a good experience with the employees. I'm not sure if I caught the girl who helped me on an off day or something, but she didn't seem too friendly or enthusiastic about helping me. Maybe I don't look like I'm capable of dropping a couple thousand bucks and she pre-judged me? My $300 purchase would've been closer to $2,000 if I'd felt even a little accommodated. Just disappointed due to the initial excitement I had to even be inside the store in the first place to shop. Maybe someday I'll give it another shot while in town.

I came in very recently to buy a pair of St. Johns double monks. The service was outstanding and the shoes were perfect, better than I thought possible, however I do rank four stars for a reason. The shoe that was on display was a size 9.5 and had some slight scuffing. When the box was brought out to me it only had one shoe rather than two. When I was fitted, I was a size 10D on both feet, but the 9.5 looked and felt the same as the 10, and the box says 10. When packaged, the 9.5 was put in the box and ended up being what I took home. I am wondering if this was intended, or if the display shoe happened to be a factory second? What can I do in this situation? I am happy with the shoes, but now I am reluctant to wear them since I am scared to void return.

When you buy Allen Edmonds, make sure it's from THIS store and ASK FOR WILL. He is amazing to work with. I would consider myself probably one of the most indecisive and picky shoe buyers in the world. He was more than happy to address and work with every one of my concerns to make sure that I got the RIGHT pair of shoes. Remember too that they price match all these awesome Nordstrom deals going on right now and also stick by their returns much better. Plus if you're picky like me, they can work more directly with the factory to make sure your shoes are made just right. Can't say enough about how good this store and Will are to work with.

My go-to place for quality footwear. Allen Edmonds are handmade in America and offer a range of casual, dress shoes, and boots. I’ve always had a great experience at this location. The customer service at this location is awesome, they take the size of your foot, including the length and width, and get you fitted into the right size shoe. Highly recommend going into the store and to purchase rather than going online, that way you are reassured you get the right size and color that you want, and it’s just a good all around experience. We’re lucky to have this store in SLC! Highly recommend checking out their shoes, belts and bags!

I bought A pair of dress shoes and had them shipped to the store they arrived with a few major scratches on the shoes no big deal they offered me another pair of shoes in the same price range and I had them shipped to my house the new pair arrived with finger nail scratches and warped leather when I took them into the store to get a refund on shoes that have obviously been worn the lady there told me “I can guarantee you they haven’t been worn” so that tells me that Allen Edmonds doesn’t care about the quality of their shoes even though they are selling a premium shoe with a certain level of quality that is expected

I've owned and regularly worn a pair of Allen Edmonds for 6 years. I wore them on my mission, and they lasted the whole two years walking around every day. I've been extremely satisfied with how they've held up, the quality, comfort, and beauty. Today was the day it was finally time to get some new ones. We walked into the store and an employee was there happy to help us. He got me measured up and I was out the door in 5 minutes with some perfectly sized shoes. I could not be happier and I look forward towards enjoying these shoes for a long time.

Fantastic experience. Went in to be fitted for my correct shoe size and to get a new pair of dress shoes. They fitted me and had me try on a few different pairs to hone in on the exact size. They didn't have the shoes I was looking for in store, but ordered it along with free 2-day shipping and also threw in a few extras for free—outstanding customer service. Took their time, were not pushy, and were very pleasant and informative. I will definitely buy from the store over online.

I haven’t purchased shoes in store since I usually buy online but I own two pairs of AE shoes and I would like to buy many more. I’ve been in there to buy polish and some accessories and the salespeople are helpful and friendly. They don’t seem to get a lot of traffic so they tend to look a little bored but they are eager to help and they represent the brand well.

Absolutely incredible people here. Extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you qualify for their 25% off for military, students, or first responders and you need a dress shoe, you'd be a fool to not at least come in and look around. Of course you go for the shoes (gorgeous shoes here) but you'll walk out beyond satisfied.

The worst pair of shoes I’ve ever owned. Uncomfortable. Started squeaking after three weeks. Sole now falling off after 6 months. I don’t wear them when it’s wet. 3 to 4 times a week at work in an office. These were a gift. I would never buy another pair for the outlandish amount of money that they charge.

Shoes did not fit after my purchase. When I returned a while later I was told they would take care of me. When I finally had the shoes in hand for the exchange they would not help. I was bummed because I expected better for the price I paid. Now I have a very uncomfortable shoes that will not be worn.

Best shoes ever made. My sneakers from them last forever and I always get compliments. My dress shoes I've had a pair for 17 years. I have currently 9 pairs of shoes from them. They are the best. The workers here are very patient and genial to deal with enjoyed my visit.

This is for the shipping and wear house. They forgot to ship my belt. I had to call and ask where it was. So far it's been 3 week for a belt. No apologies or discount for their messup and making me wait for a belt I could have gotten on Amazon in 2 day... Beware

6 pairs in over the last 5 years; it’s an addiction. My AE shoes are top quality and I couldn’t be happier with the look and comfort. The AE team at City Creek are very nice and knowledgeable when it comes to shoes; you can’t go wrong!
