I received a gift for Christmas and both customer service and the beauty counter girls were very rude to me. Sadie the manager on the second floor I believe she the manager for the evening shift was so so sweet. Apologized for the other rude employees. I was told I needed to speak to the beauty department specifically for what I was needing assistance with and the lady completely shut me down and wasn’t helpful at all after I had explained to her that Sadie the manager had told me to come down to them to get help. She also lied to me saying they don’t carry the item in their store anymore. When in fact they do and there was lots of them too. Sadie was able to help me with my issue and went above and beyond to resolve my issue. Instead of making me feel crazy or trying to embarrass me like the other women had done. Sadie (the manager at the time) even made sure there was nothing else I need and was shocked that I was treated in such a way, and apologized for them not helping me in the first place. Those two women would get one star from me because their customer service was so so poor. Usually if you can’t help a customer you might seek further assistance from a manager or someone in charge but they didn’t lift a finger. I would give Sadie 5 stars for being professional, listening to my issue and taking me to the item and helping me resolve my issue. Going from a horrible experience and possibly not wanting to return to their store, I will be going back. But I will remember to seek management’s help if I need further assistance.

Nordstroms used to be my happy place - sadly the Nordstrom standard does not exist anymore. Visited this location yesterday and spent a good amount of time looking through many departments. Never once was I approached for help. I carried several items around the upper floor looking for a salesperson to let me in a dressing room and seriously couldn't find anybody. I finally found a young girl (literally the only employee on the entire top floor) and she didn't have a dressing room key. I walked into the dressing room and all the doors were open and clothes hanging and on the floor in all of the dressing rooms. It looked like a Target (no offense Target). The store was a complete mess! I tried on the clothes I was carrying and wanted to buy several items. I could not find anyone to purchase from. When I went back to the young girl, she asked me to wait while she went in the back to inquire about alterations for someone on the phone......I waited a while and the customers just kept piling up to talk to the only person on the entire floor. I put all of my items on the counter and left. I have never seen anything like it. Customer Service used be the one thing you could count on in Nordstrom, this experience was awful and I will not go back.

Beautiful store with so much to choose from; however, I came here with my fiancé and felt so uncomfortable in the men’s section that we could only grab one thing and leave, unfortunately. The two young males watched us like hawks the entire time, and one of them tried making conversation as if he were attempting to sell something, but in reality it was to keep a close eye on us. I’m not kidding; he never left our side the entire time! We didn’t come in with any extra baggage or linger around too long for them to get the slightest idea that we came to steal anything, so his behavior was strange. I picked up one shirt to hold for my fiancé because we wanted to purchase it while still browsing the men's section, and the young guy asked to hold it at the front for me. I’ve worked in retail for many years, and I know for a fact why he asked that. Once he asked that, we immediately asked him to ring us up so we could exit the store. I have no plans on ever returning to that store in particular, which bums me out because, like I said, this store was wonderful and had so many great selections.

I went into this Nordstrom today to purchase an entire suit and extra shirts for my son. There were plenty of employees standing around talking to each other, and yet, not one employee even acknowledged that I was there. 4 employees talking about moving in together. 3 employees in shoes, all of them on their phones. I even looked at them to ask for help. They looked at me, and continued their conversation with eachother. Wow, not a smile, can I help you, nothing. What horrible customer service!!! There was an employee with blue hair that walked directly in front of me and started showing the jacket I was actively looking at to the one other customer in the men's section. I needed help finding sizes, but since the employees didn't care that I was there, no way will I give my money to them and let them have a commission. I walked over to UWM, and they were wonderful. Helped me get everything I needed for my son! Sorry, not sorry Nordstrom. Train your employees, if you even care. But hey, they snubbed me, and I found a store that actually cares about their clients!

Incredibly RUDE hispanic old lady at the personal care counter. I was testing the Lancome creams at the counter on my dad who is visiting and needed something for his eye bags, this lady rushed to where we were, desperately asking us if we had taken a moisturizer from the counter looking at us all rude, insinuating that we had taken it because there was just a lid there, she asked us several times even when we had told her we didn’t have it! She didn’t even asked us if we needed any help, and honestly I didn’t felt like buying anything from her after that, we felt so discriminated and humiliated by a fellow hispanic, which was so embarrassing. This has never happened to me before and it honesty makes me never want to come back to this store. My suggestion to Nordstrom would be to train its employees to make customers feel welcome and appreciated it, regardless of their ethnicity, color and race. This is just unacceptable and I really hope something is done about it.

Nordstrom is such a disappointment now. I can’t ever find anything I like. We shopped yesterday for a prom dress for my daughter. They had no formals at all in their teen section, and the formal section for women looked like Ross! I was amazed at the lack of selection and quality. I worked at Nordstrom while I was in college 30 years ago, and I have enjoyed shopping there throughout the years, but I agree with another comment that said they’ve gone downhill from 2020. I think it started a little earlier than that, but yes, in the last three years it’s really taken a nose dive. There’s just no selection and too few employees. It’s definitely not the same shopping experience it used to be. Also, we went to the cafe after shopping (and finding a beautiful dress at Anthropologie) and were served by a waiter with chipped, nasty nail polish and dirty fingernails. That was the topper on my Nordstrom experience.

Deana Toleafoa, the manager, was beyond rude to me, not to mention discriminatory. If you have a return, you are better off taking it to the Fashion Place Nordstrom, where you will be treated with respect. She acted like the jeans (Rag & Bone, barely worn, with horrible stretching), would be coming out of her paycheck. Furthermore, I continually got the run-around from different employees, who claimed to be managers, but actually were not. Omar and Patrick actually have no ability to return things, in spite of being called “managers.” After you’ve been put off for days, you MIGHT get to talk to the incredibly rude Deana, who also can’t help you. If you want to buy Rag & Bone jeans, City Creek is not a good option.

Kalen was brilliant! Extremely professional! We came to the City Creek location for a cologne by Givenchy but wasn’t sure which one. Kalen was super patience while I tested 5 of 6 bottles and he helped me identify which one was which even after I mixed up the paper testers multiple times lol. He even asked me the right questions about when I smelt the cologne I was searching for and taught me things about scent changes. He’s very knowledgeable, well groomed, well dressed, calm, engaging and his professionalism really brought that section of the mens area to life. We were Impressed! We bought the Givenchy Gentleman EDT Intense. Thank you for all the help today Kalen!!

My visit to Nordstrom today was fabulous! It started in the children's department where Red helped me find just the right gift for a baby shower. She was so professional and smart. She had the gift wrapped and delivered it to me in the Cafe. That is what I call class♡ Regan our server was terrific and the food was excellent. Then to the Tom Ford counter where the lovely sales girl found just the right lipstick for my Red hair, again a fun and rewarding experience ☆

Didn’t receive much service here even though it was pretty dead in here. The fragrance lady at Jo Malone was a sweetheart but the older ladies working eye wear didn’t even greet me…they could use a crash course on “service”. I’m not the entitled type and can do without sales associates hounding me but picking and choosing who you acknowledge is a sign of poor service. I even overheard the ladies talking about sales goals so that’s that on that lol.

Visited Nordstrom’s today. Saw multiple displays showing sales items. Tags show sales prices. During the purchase it turns out that the sale price is only available to Nordstrom card holders. The various signs don’t disclose this requirement and even the large banners are vague. Cashier responded rudely when I explained that I wasn’t interested in applying for their credit card.

Was assisted by one of the staff tried on many items on today at the store today and when it came time to complete my purchases I was then told I couldn’t purchase my items as I didn’t have some member card or something was actually ridiculous. Would have been nice to know before hand what a waste of time as a regular customer to this store was a huge let down.

Great store, great service. I had great experiences in the past. However I did not find any of the items I found in the store online. None of the items were in the store and did not like the alternatives. I ended up looking elsewhere because I needed to try the items before I buy them. But at least the people did their best to help me and that to me is very valuable!

Not only is the store impressive and the location in central downtown, the service is over the top. We were just "window" shopping and still treated with kindness and care. We decided to stay for lunch at their in house grill. The food was awesome. I had the fish and chips and a side salad. We had a table by the window which made the experience that much better

Oh my gosh.. came in today to smell some fragrances to get a feel of what I want to buy for my husband, and Jorgen the counter manager from the men’s fine fragrances and Ariel we’re both wonderful. They made me a couple of samples and really took their time to help me. Wonderful customer service! And I’ll be back. Thank you so much I really appreciate you both!

Deana Toleafoa, the manager, and her sidekicks with no authority to help customers, are the rudest employees I’ve ever met. If you need to return an item here, plan to be judged, criticized, and refused proper service. I thought this was a regular Nordstrom, but it is apparently run by a different group of people. So so rude. Do not shop here.

The last few times I have been there, they have had terrible selection and stock and everything just feels over-priced for the level of convenience and service being offered. If I have to order what I want and have it shipped, then I will just shop a less expensive store online.

Nordstrom isn’t what it used to be. Employees aren’t aware of promotions, lack of education, lack of customer service. Even when showing 2 employees the promotion on Nordstrom website they had to check on how to handle. It’s a good thing they checked but for this experience I was Disappointed. Not what it used to be.

Was in the store for 30-min looking to buy a suit. Nobody helped me. I finally went to ask to use the dressing room and was treated like I was interrupting the salesperson. Even though they found out I hadn’t been helped, two salesmen continued to stand around and not help. Ended up purchasing a suit elsewhere.

I came here for the half yearly sale to look for a sport coat/blazer for my husband. The staff was incredibly helpful and their clothes were all great quality. I love that they now have a pickup desk for online purchases. Brilliant. Thanks for making shopping enjoyable for a non-shopaholic.

stood around for 20m on a wednesday afternoon, with a minimally busy shoe department and the three blonde associates just stood around and chatted while browsing their phones. didn’t even acknowledge us or greeted us. we really wanted black birkenstocks but ended up going to another store.

Bought a $500 dress from Nordstrom online. Naturally it was too long, needed the bodice brought in, and lifted. When I went to have it tailored- I was told they just couldn't help me. The old Nordstrom attitude of helping out the customer has seriously stopped. Was very disappointed!!!

Went for a business lunch, great place for that since they have a nice variety of food. I had a sandwich and fries, both were delicious! I did think I was lost for a second, but it is indeed inside the store. I would definitely recommend and will likely stop in for another lunch.
