This is the worst Footlocker Store in terms of customer service. Buyers and sneakerheads beware. I won't buy my shoe from this store. I bought an Adidas Crazy BYW from the Footlocker Store in Fashion Place. I realized after I come home that the size I chose was tight for a thick pair of sock so I decided to return it in the this City Creek location. When I showed it to the employee he immediately checked the soles and even consulted with his manager. When he came back to me he accused me of wearing the shoes asking "How many times have you worn this?" not even asking if I have worn it. It was a small dirt on ONE of the shoe and if he's even logical he should have thought that if that was worn the other pair should also be dirty but it's spotless. I told him I never wore it outside. I just tried it and it might have pick up some dust from our carpet knowing that the Crazy BYW easily gathers dust. But he did not believe me and he even emphasized that I did not buy the shoes from their store. Their too picky on the dirt even if it was from their stock and not even noticeable. I did not even notice it when I bought the shoes. I went back to the Fashion Place location and they happily accepted my return. If I were you, I would check other locations first and buy the shoes from other Footlocker stores instead of this one. They will always assume the shoes were worn already when you return them.

The absolute WORST customer service honestly wish I could put 0 stars, for I will no longer be shopping here again. The lady there with dark hair was no help at all at grabbing sizes for us to try, and it's horrible because I'm pretty sure she was a manger. Also disappointing because we were willing to buy quite a few pairs of shoes at over $100 a piece. The most frustrating thing of all was the cashier that was checking us out named Jullian. We were trying to do an exchange and he lead us to believe we were getting the whole value of the shoes back which were $180 (which we were only returning because they broke after only a little bit of wear). And we could only exchange them for equal or more value. So after picking a few things out and checking out he now tells us, the return is only $70. I understand 'policy'... But I wish he would've said something or the manger would have when she came to "help" him. Again very disappointed because our family has had all boys play basketball and always buy very nice shoes there.

I want to say this is a review of the people who work there not the company itself. I went into the store last night 11Feb22 and wasn't greeted or acknowledged eventhough there were 7 people working. Only the person behind the register was helping a customer. Two of them were in the counter area just b/s'ing. In the rear of the store there were four employees gathered together not helping anyone of the 12 to 15 customers in the shop. Now I realize some of these customers were teenagers and probably weren't going to buy anything but there were customers who were actually looking for something to purchase including myself. I had to go interrupt their conversation and ask for help twice. I find this unacceptable. I'm not asking for these people to wait on me hand and foot, but when you have customers who are looking for help we have a problem. I would definitely go to another store, I was just in the Foot Locker in Layton and the one in SouthTowne and both of those had far better customer service.

The customer service here is absolutely HORRIBLE!! I usually love my experience at Foot Locker, but not at this location. First, I called in for some shoes and they said they had them in stock and would hold them for 20 minutes until I got there. It actually only took me 18 minutes to get there, and when I went in they informed me that they had already sold them, because they didn’t know if I was really going to come. I was frustrated, but thought whatever I will find another pair. So I tried on multiple pairs of shoes and found a pair they had in stock that I liked. When I went to buy my shoes I realized I left my wallet in my car. The guy helping me, Luke, told me he would hold them for me while I went out to grab my wallet. When I came back not even 10 minutes later, they informed me that they once again, they had sold the shoes they were holding for me. Thanks Luke for ruining my day!

Very rude staff. I kept calling, was looking for the store and parking for a long time, when I finally found it I got there one minute after the store was supposed to close, the doors were already locked, there was a customer finishing up a purchase and when the staff member walked them to the door I told her I knew exactly what i needed if they could just grab me the shoes and get me checked out, I even explained to her what I had went through to find the store and was only one minute past closing, they refused to help me. If they would have just answered the phone I could have gotten directions of exactly where they were and found out if they could have gotten the shoes I needed ready so it would have taken only a couple minutes to check out.

A decent amount of shoe selection. Customer Service is the worst part of this store. All the employees stand around the checkout counter and don’t interact with the customers or walk around offering to help. Last time I was there I found a pair of shoes I wanted, the employee went to the back to see if they had it in my size. After 15 mins of waiting I got restless and when I found him he was at the counter talking to the other employees. I asked him if he had found the size and he just replied, “No, sorry” didn’t bother to assist me any further and went back to his conversation with the other employees. The place is very unprofessional and very unfriendly. Don’t know how it stays profitable being that it doesn’t care about the customers.

This store is sketchy. The back door all the hype shoes. The employees lie to you and your face and don’t care. The manager will withhold information have you wait in line for hours for a shoe that they have and will tell you he won’t sell them today because he doesn’t want too. This Foot Locker doesn’t care about his customers the people that keep them in business. This Store has no good shoes. You could find better shoes at Ross and then when they do have nice shoes they won’t release them to the public builders is backdoor door them to their own staff and Close friends. We should fire the staff and hire a new management. Because customer service here is 0-10 Honesty 0-10 and the true morality of the staff is 0-10

Staff was very inexperienced and acted like they would rather be anywhere else. I asked about youth basketball shoes and the associate just points over to the wall of shoes, only having a a few actual basketball shoes and not having knowledge myself as how to spot a basketball shoe it was very frustrating. Once we found a few my daughter liked we were told they did not have her size in any of their shoes. We spent most of our time googling how to order her size without even a suggestion of helping us. It wasn't even busy yet the two associates we had contact with were extremely put out to even talk to us.

First off, the workers were all just chatting amongst themselves so we stood at the register for a few minutes before they all just kept asking each other who wanted to check us out and no one wanted to. PAY ATTENTION TO PRICES WHEN THEY RING UP. They do not honor sale prices even if the sale tag is there if it doesn’t ring up correctly. Their t-shirts had a sign for $19.99, but scanned for $30. Asked and showed him and he said it wasn’t right so we just left. Keep your shirt and your attitude.

I went in to make a return on a Christmas gift to no avail. Granted it was the day after Christmas and I'm sure I was about the millionth return of day for the gentleman I spoke with, but that hardly excuses such terrible customer service. Essentially, I was told very coldly that I was completely out of luck. It wasn't so much the information I was given that upset me, as much as it was how I'll mannered the staff was. Horrible customer service.

Placed an order for pickup at 11am and called to check on it at 5:40pm, only for the dude to straight up lie to me that they didn't carry or have the shoe in stock. When that lie didn't work, he tried telling me that I didn't even have a pickup order there at all and hung up on me. I immediately called back and someone else answered who was super helpful and nice, they found my order all packed up and ready to go within minutes!

Our experience in this store was exceptional. Although they were out of the product we came to purchase, the gentleman that helped us took the time to locate the product and the right size at another location nearby. The employee was very helpful and his level of service was greatly appreciated. This was not an isolated incident, all the workers are very friendly and helpful at this location.

There were five people in line with one person working the register. This is normally not a problem except there were for employees (including the manager) standing in a circle talking and dancing. I put my items back and left the store without purchase. This was 09/25 at 4pm so the appropriate training can be given to these “employees”. I like foot locker but this was disappointing.

This place is literally never open. I’ve called like 10 times and they never answer or call back. I’ve visited this place on Saturday and they were closed even when they said they were open. I came again on Monday and they were also closed when it said they were open on the website. Me and my brother were just trying to buy his girlfriend her dream shoes for her birthday.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes through the store and when they came I got the completely wrong sizes that I needed. They weren’t even remotely close to the sizes I needed. The shoe sizes I need are not in any of the stores near me so if I want to have the same shoes I would have to send them back and wait another week or so to get the right ones. So inconvenient and annoying.

Great place! Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about the duds they sell. Usually they have worn and owned the shoes I’m asking about, and the store has a good selection of sweet kicks, esp the Donovan Mitchell shoes which are fire the Jazz wouldn’t have much of a team without him. I miss Karl Malone and John Stockton. We gotta get back to those days.

Horrible service. The workers are just there to chitchat, and not help. I asked for a kids size, the employee helping me took the shoe to check for sizes. He immediately said they only have one size, and put the shoe back on the shelf. All while not giving any eye contact, then walked away before i could ask for another shoe. The store was out of stock on two pairs of shoes I'd have liked to purchase. I waited quite a while to be noticed, but I'm no spring chicken. Would younger people get noticed sooner? I suspect so. It's sort of backwards discrimination, where the older customers wait the longest for service, even though we have more discretionary income to spend.

I guess the days of getting good shoes to play sports with is over at foot locker. Now it's all about ugly, loudly colored shoes that some dudes will put on a shelf to show off to his friends & never wear.....

I wouldn't recommend footlocker. When I got home with my new shoes I realized that they boxed a size 9.5 shoe with a size 10 shoe, and I had paid $30 more than the online price. Trying to get the errors fixed has been nothing short of a nightmare with their customer service. All I hear is "unfortunately there is nothing we can do".

Jonny and one of the managers had terrible customer service. No way to try things on to see if it fits. Dressing rooms need to open up. Employees were not accommodating at all, and gave me no options. Completely blew me off when I asked. I’m not one to usually write reviews, but this rubbed me the wrong way.

Foot locker has a great selection of shoes. They have a little something for everyone. Men, women, and kids. But where they really excel is with basketball shoes. They have a whole room in the back dedicated to basketball shoes. It's awesome. If your looking for a new pair of Jordans. This is the place.

Management cares a lot about this place. The back has a house of hoops which is loaded with exclusives and other great products. There are shoes and clothing in this part of the store that you wont be able to find anywhere else in the state. For the most part the staff is friendly and cares.

I stopped going to fashion place footlocker because of staff. I switched to city creek and so glad I did. I spend a lot with footlocker. The staff at city creek was on point! I’ll def make this my store of choice not to mention the house of hoops.

Had a line all the way out of the store. I've been buying the same models of shoes for 20 years. I went in and now the shoes cost 60% more than they did two years ago. I don't think a pair of old school Nikes should be 150 dollars.

I enjoy driving an hour to visit and shop at this Footlocker location. The vibe here is amazing! The employees are so helpful and friendly overall they provide great customer service. And they also have a great variety of shoes.

We stop by Foot Locker to get shoes for the kids for basketball season and we're disappointed to find no good cells in their shoe size. It would be nice to have more variety of kids shoes especially boys basketball shoes

Customer service is amazing. The sneaker choices are the best in Utah. The only thing holding this from 5 stars is that the yeezys aren't releasing here which makes it very inconvenient for me and many more people.

Employees keep to themselves and never ask customers if they need help. They seem to try and avoid eye contact as well. If you shop here, you’re on your own.
