Went there a couple of days ago just to buy milk. Went up to the counter and the person serving me walked away. He came back and wasn’t very nice when I tried to pay via efpos when he held the efpos machine for me to pay, it didn’t work, he said you hold your card over this spot, but he had part of his hand over the efpos machine , so he just put it on the counter and it worked. This isn’t a one off this has happened numerous times before where I’ll be waiting at the counter to be served. It seems like they don’t like to serve people who just want to buy milk on the way home. Pity I can’t give them no stars.

Don’t bother buying from here a rip off, I’ve seen the owners at all supermarkets grabbing all the half price specials on sweets, chocolates, even Woolworths bread roll packs, party pies everything just so they can rip you off by selling them 3 times the amount, plus their prices are already too high and stock not fresh, they change dates….terrible people ripping everyone off…

Best take away food in the southern hemisphere. Fish caught and cooked to order, potato cakes made from idaho gold, all chicken products free range from the back yard. Coffee beans fresh from Brazil. All payment methods accepted including American express, lira, euros and bitcoin.

I had given up on buying fish and chips again when one day visiting me she bought some fish and chips from the Ashbolt store. The chips were perfectly made as were the fish, potato cakes and spring role. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family - well done …

Very disappointing experience from both a communication and business perspective. Sadly I observed an inability to leverage future growth or to adapt and grow with market changes. I will not be dealing with this business entity again.

Convenient local store with friendly service and a decent range. Would have gone with five stars but prices seem to have crept up a little since the new owners have taken over so I tend to buy a little less from there than I used to.

Very average fish and chips. These other reviews saying "Best fish and chips" have obviously never had good fish & Chips before !! Not fresh most likely frozen. Helps also to have counter staff who know what Fish are !!

Friendly staff in a convenient location however I think the business hours need to be updated both on line and at the entrance as I have gone to call in a couple of times on the way home and the store has closed.

Mate absolute 10/10 service that owner was so kind that I have finally came to the conclusion that he is from the Middle East because they are usually so kind from that culture …
