Very Disappointed - I was in Big W, Kingston on this past Sunday 12 December 21 as I needed to buy a specific gift for my Grandson which took me less than 5 minutes to enter the store find the item and return to the checkout. That's where everything came to a stop. There were queues of people waiting to go through both the self serve checkouts and the serviced checkouts. We stood in line for a good 5minutes before a staff member (who had been directing customers to self serve checkouts) pulled off one of the two girls who were operating the serviced checkouts to separate the customers. This girl spoke to the customers who were in the queue to split into two separate queues as there was some confusion as to who were waiting for the self serve checkouts and the serviced checkouts. She moved the customers for the serviced checkout on the other side of the serviced checkouts. Still there was a lot of discontent in the queue as there was only one operator now working the checkout. For this time of year with Christmas less than 2 weeks away the lack of staff was unacceptable. You say how much you appreciate your customers but it would appear that you do not consider them when it comes to excellence customer service through the checkouts. It is not the staff's fault as they are happy to help you when they can, they are friendly and polite. It's time you took a look at the customer flow that comes through your store and make sure you have the relevant staff to accommodate them when coming through the checkouts. It is your responsibility to make sure you have sufficient staff to cover your busy seasonal times. I am only one customer but how many people will I tell about the lack of service at the checkout? How many other customers have the same experience and will not speak up but I'll bet they will tell all their friends. At least 20 customers in each queue you should be ashamed of yourself. There should be a company procedure or policy that requires an additional staff member be called as soon as 6 people are in the queue or less if they have a trolley full of stock. Worse case, your customers will get served without having to wait 20 mins and you would be seen to be customer orientated and efficient.

The floors were of the finest cleanliness The entrance beckoned like a siren of the sea. The staff were like flighty automatons and the reward for catching them was fantastic customer service, however beware your consumer peers who will flock like seagulls to steal your hard won helper should should your attention waver. Finding the item of your shopping desire is akin to walking utopia looking for your favourite nut knowing many of the trees are too expensive to climb and many are so inexpensive that they practically throw their nuts into your basket. Escaping the store requires hauling your heavy hoard hastily hence the haughty haint that haunts the hallowed door. And then you go to liv eat for a coffee and profit

I left upset due to them having no nice long sleeves to wear in the heat. The clothing is not great.

The usual BigW experience. Store is generally well kept. Though it does have a damaged section of floor in the cleaning product section, which has been damaged for 4 months now. Last time my 60+ year old father visited he tripped on the floor as it's a bad trip hazard and ended up injuring his wrist trying to prevent his fall. Other than that, it's your standard big w.

Today I went for buy a bundle of A4 (coppy paper) for urgent matter. I just asked from one middle age and slightly fat lady who works there. Feel she couldn’t understand again asked about A4 bundle. Having with rude face she told me go to stationary. 99% staff of them nice and good .Infortunately one sale staff ruined image of whole system.

Always a pleasure to shop here and see familiar faces working there. You know that they will know if the have stock and where it is. Always a warm welcome from the door staff and all the staff are very friendly. Good to see a couple of registers open most times as I prefer not to use self service. Thanks guys, great job

Placed an online pickup order and waited days for the order to be ready. I finally realised they have a track order app they and they had cancelled the order for no reason and without notifying me. This is the second time I have had trouble with them displaying stock online they don't actually have.

Convenient location with undercover parking. Good collection of item available for reasonable price. Quality of home brand products are reasonable for the price. Option of high end brands available for those who want them. There are price mark downs and clearance sales time to time.

The clothes are fashionable, affordable and there is a large range to choose from. There's are also your basic snacks like chocolate which is cheap, sports equipment, gymn equipment, technology and toys. The customer service is spot on. Also they have toilets, which is very handy.

I bought a phone holder for my car here and then realised that my car vents are vertical when I went to install it. No fuss return/refund. Always find great products here for a value price. Also picked up a headlight torch which works great!

Staff not very helpful. I made an order of 1 item and I've been waiting for over 2 hours. I tried to call and ask about my item but was rudly told to wait for my email. I would be ok with this if the staff member knew what customer service

Hige selection of moderately well priced goods, my checkout operator was lovely but as with most young checkout operators these days he didn't pack my clothes as much as screwed them up which was very dissapointing
