Love the quiet ambience and the sales are really good. I just feel like the store doesn't showcase a variety of authors (mostly white afrikaans authors are prompted). Overall I feel Bargain books is great for budget books but their selection is pandered to white people. Also the staff is quiet but I don't mind. It creates a good atmodphere. Just please let them dit down. What is it with bookstores and having people stand?? Bank workers sit. Why would a bookstore clerk need to be standing???

It was a bit annoying that they wouldn't let my son sit on the chairs in the kids corner "because of social distancing" when he was the only kid there and it's Level 1 at the moment. Policies need to be updated. Staff were nice enough otherwise, but I didn't find what I was looking for. The isles are also a bit too narrow for a pram. I couldn't pass people while browsing and bumping into books and phzzles that were too big for the shelves quite a few times.

Great store for bargain books. They have a great varieties of books for all ages. The store is not big so most times other customers would need you to move out of the way when looking for books. Staff is generally very friendly and try to help. Remember to bring your own shopping bags . So for well priced goods don't miss out and pop in to this store. Easy access to the car park.

Staff don't seem to be very engaging with customers or very friendly, they were standing talking to each other and someone asked me for help instead of the staff. How unprofessional. The best Bargain Books I've been to is the one in Cape Gate. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, they are upbeat and they really appreciate their customers.

It's somewhat tucked away but worth the effort to find. The prices are unbelievably cheaper by comparison to other well known stores without lowering the quality. The staff are very friendly and eager to assist. We have enjoyed shopping there for a number of years and will continue to go back.

I love books, they take you to other places, to different worlds. Always an adventure to be had with a book in hand. So if you are looking for a bargain on a books head to bargin books. They have wide selection of books in both the non fiction and fiction sections.

Love this Bargain Books branch. The staff is always extremely welcoming and helpful and they have a lovely variety of especially children's books. I love visiting this shop, even if I don't need anything.

There are so many staff members standing in every corner of the shop and following you around the store that you feel watched all the time and can't relax and browse in peace.

Very underrated book store, might not look as appealing to some from the outside vs their competitors, but certainly outshine them for customer service and experience!

Excellent store with competitive prices. Limited mobility for wheelchair access which was problematic but friendly staff did assist where possible.

Counter staff was extremely slow. Was not in a hurry but it took 20 minutes to count out vouchers that i wanted to purchase.
