I so wish I remembered the ladies name. My word she was amazing. Further, When I got in, Literally as the doors opened , the girl that was opening asked if she can help. Told her what I was looking for and she took me to the correct aisles asked if there is anything else, and she went on to finish her morning routine when I said I was fine. While I was looking around a guy that just arrived (still had his bag) offered help. Later another lady came to assist(the amazing one). I think she spent like 30min with us trying to help us find a Afrikaans book for my daughter, cause heavans she is more picky than me when it gets to books. my daughter is Afrikaans but prefer to read English, so we had nothing to go on. So big shout out too this amazing woman. And a big thanks for all your help. I hope your boss knows what a gem he/she has.

I was on the lookout for a specific book to give as a Christmas gift. After visiting a few book stores (and not finding the book anywhere) I phoned Bargain Books Willowbridge. The lady helping me on the phone was friendly and she offered to keep the book aside for me. While I was visiting the store to collect the book, the shop assistant informed me that they also happen to have the other books in this particular series and that these books was on special for the holiday season - so thoughtful. I will definitely visit this branch again. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff - making the shopping experience lovely.

I’ve been to many many books stores but since visiting BB at Willowbridge, I will not go anywhere else. And that’s purely because of the staff. They are so passionate about books and are so well read. Their recommendations are always on point and it’s a rare occasion when I am looking for a book that one of them hasn’t already read. Also the range of books at this particular store is amazing! It’s one of my favorite places. 5 stars isn’t even enough. Well done guys.

We went there in search of age appropriate books for our 11 year old granddaughter. They had an amazing selection of books for each age group and I must admit, as 60year olds, felt a bit out of our depth. A young salesman in his 20s came to our rescue and started explaining the range of books for her age group, the different genres, the different writers, etc. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will go back to them any time!

Always friendly staff. Thats the reason they are my go-to shop when I need a specific book sourced or just looking for something to augment my already overly cramped bookshelves. The fantasy section - though small - has a good selection. Only reason I give 4 not 5 stars is that the shelves need help. WAY too much stock. (not a bad thing!!!). Maybe assess items that dont sell... move it out so space for items that do sell?

Came in again today (13th Feb 23) and was so impressed with one of your staff, a young mom (I didn't get her name). She went out of her way to assist and offer advice. I walked into the store to see if they stock wrapping paper. The staff were so welcoming and friendly that they helped me wrap the gifts. I tried to pay them for their effort but they said to put my tip in the animal charity collection box.

Your prices are all but bargain. The book Jan costs much more than at Exclusive Books, Takealot and many other places. A huge disappointment and when I mentioned this to the lady on duty she had an "I don't care" attitude.
