WOULDN'T RECOMMEND AT ALL! Short version: Lazy staff, full of excuses, and my bike was in worse condition after being serviced by them. Full version: When entering the shop the first time, the staff will eagerly assist you. When returning anytime thereafter, they will make it seem as if they are doing you a massive favour by getting up out of their chairs to talk to you. Anything more than general parts or questions, they scream for "Boetie" to come and assist you while they return to their chairs. Took my mountain bike in for a major service and wheel straightening on Monday. Was promised that the bike would most likely be ready Tuesday afternoon. Didn't hear anything from them, so I decided to go in, only on Thursday, to check the progress. When I arrived I was told the bike was almost ready, I should wait 15 min. Every 5 minutes, I was told it would almost be out. 45 minutes later, the bike was still not done, and I was told to come back on Friday. Returned Friday afternoon to find that yet again the bike wasn't ready. Waited 20 min and got my bike. While walking it to the car, I could feel the front wheel was loose. Upon inspection, the front bearing was dangerously loose. Took it back to the shop and asked for it to be fixed. After a 40-minute wait, I got the bike back only to find the brake disc rubbing up against the caliper, the wheel being considerably buckled, and the bearing still loose, although better. I returned it back to them again to fix it properly. I waited another hour for them to finish it. So after almost 3 hours in the shop, the bike was rideable, and I took it home after being fed up by their staff, their excuses, and their laziness. When out on the first ride, the gear changes were no longer smooth, the bike could only change into 7 out of the 8 gears at the back and could go into the higest gear in the front with alot of effort. This wasn't a problem before taking my bike in. Before the service, all gear changes were smooth, and all gears were selectable. After the service, the wheels were still far from straight.

I am new to the area and visited Cajees. On entering the store, I was met with a chaotic floor. Product placement was poor, shelves cluttered and the overall feeling very disorganized. The only staff member who greeted me was the guy mopping the floor. There were at least three other staff members behind the front desk. One was stuffing his face with Doritos. The other was sitting staring into space. And the third was busy giving a client attitude about booking in his bicycle for a service. Their prices seem excessive, and the overall atmosphere is very unwelcoming. Cajees, if your goal is to turn customers away, congratulations. I won't be back, nor will I recommend you.

After selling me the wrong product, they amazingly had received stock of the right product the next day when I returned. If I wasn't desperate I would've taken my business elsewhere. I won't be going back since a quick Google search revealed that they charged me double the going rate for the exact same product. I've been a loyal customer of Cajees Horizon/Westgate for many years. Safe to say they've lost my business for good.

Got my girlfriend a bike this weekend as we going back to East London the following day. They managed to get the right size bike from another store but now we are in East London, the breaks are on the wrong handles. The gears are also not lined up properly and the breaks aren't the make that were on the display. Very disappointed that we were in a hurry and now can't get it sorted. Make sure you check everything

Booked my bike in for a service and repairs. Including rear breaks squealing to be fixed. When arriving to collect and spending almost an hour and being told it has been fixed, it wasn’t. They also replaced my steering grips which I didn’t ask for. Next day went back to collect again, to be informed they have replaced my front break pads which I didn’t ask for.

Went into the strubensvalley store this morning. After standing inside for about 5 minutes, not a single employee asked me if I needed assistance or even acknowledged that I was in the store. Guess you don't need the business so I went next door to Toy Zone and bought a bicycle

Second new bike purchased, second issue experienced with tubes and poor delivery. "New" bike delivered with chips and scratches and underinflated tyres, complete rush job. My advice, purchase from somewhere else who want to provide you with a service and value. Disappointed!

Staff not knowledgeable of bikes.One of the staff members mentioned they had to order a bike and it turned out the bike was in stock , the wrong year model was also given.The most concerning part of my 2 visits though was the price of the bike changing 4 times.

went in the 11th to ask for a remote lockout for my bike no stock will order they took name and number called a week and a half later feedback is no one has done anything will check and let you know they said it not me no one has done anything

My mother took my back wheel in to be balanced and have a new tyre and tube fitted. They did a terrible job at balancing the wheel. It's actually more buckled than it actually was!. Thanks a lot cajees I'll be seeing you guys on Saturday.

Pathetic service don't use them . Shop says it opens at 9:30 it's now 10:00 . Never have stock and the people that work there don't know their pricings . Way over priced on items . Cycle lab is better .

Open the latest @ 9:30 and close the earliest @ 5 Promised to call me when the bike was ready, but didn’t even bother. Then @ 5 when I got there they were closed. What a horrible experience.

Disappointing service. Managers sit up stairs and do not come down to address customers issues. I was a sold a defective part which they refused to replace.

Lots of stuff for the weekend rider. Full of stuff, prices not what I expected, not cheap at all. But I got what I wanted, some kit that fits :)

Took my bike in to tighten my brakes. It came out exactly the way I gave it to them. Had no difference at all. Charged me a lot for nothing

Rude on the phone. Working on our bikes was like pulling teeth, taking their time and seemed like it was a inconvenience to do the job.

Here you will find all things cycling. Prices are reasonable and you should find what you are looking for. Staff are friendly, helpful.
