Great deal on a Scott RC Pro, but I must be cursed. The bike was bust with a failed bearing just 100km later, and it didn't end there. Endless back-and-forth with issues. Each time they try fix things nice and quick, but between Scott and this store, my life is too short to be stuck in Fourways traffic every month. E.g. the TwinLock/dropper lever part has now failed again for the 2nd time in 4 months. I was also very disappointed by the lack of honesty from the sales person Ben when I inquired about a warranty replacement saddle seeming to be different. He tried to convince me it was the exact same, but the store ended up replacing my original faulty Syncros Belcarra V 1.5 saddle with a downgraded V 2.0 version and failed to communicate it, possibly hoping I wouldn't notice. Then I noticed they did me another dirty when they overcharged me R500 to replace a cracked Scott downtube shock cover, a simple plastic part, which I later see online for going for ~7 Euro. As bad as the R / Euro exchange rate is, I really can't understand how they can markup a ~7 Euro / R200 part by an extra R300 to get to R500.

First time buer experience ..online had items with faulty descriptions..I added to cart failed to checkout due to technical difficulties ..sent an highly detailed email with screenshot evidence ..got prompt response early next day how ever..they acknowledged technical difficulties and also confirmed listed item and price is correct but description and advertisement image are incorrect ..wich in industry , if an item shows as listed against a price , and the item is not as in the picture , and no terms and conditions dictate items may vary in image ..obviously it is misleading ..and can affect a business transaction ..so unfortunately ..first time buyer as me..is also last time customer.

Hands down the best customer service I have experienced in Southern Africa. The staff at Mellow Velo know exactly how to help you with your cycling journey - from the get go they recommended the perfect bike to me as a complete beginner, and had a very good price tag on the bike as well. Had a burped tubeless tyre and they fixed it within 30 minutes, no questions asked. 10/10 for EVERYTHING customer related. Buy/service your bikes at these oaks.

100% would recommend. Much better than the larger outlets, they answer their phones. When you get there there is someone that helps you, knows what they talking about and can make recommendations not just sales. Its much further from where I stay than a lot of other shops but I would go back for the majority of my cycling needs. Honestly if you looking at reviews to see if you should go here, then go.

Poor service experienced here they sold my bike even after I phoned ahead of time to tell them I was going to pick it up.They did however apologies and gave it at a better price but then I also had to pay for it to be couriered and it ended up arriving 5 days later ,that being said the bike did arrive in good order and was well packaged , they even included a small gift bag with chain lubes and oil.

5 Stars is not enough. Excellent ***** service. It was like a ball of energy when I walk into the store. I could see people love the shop and shopping there. The personnel was friendly and helpfull. It was a wonderfull experience shopping at Mellow Velo. I will be back for more shopping. Thank you to everyone that help me, your the best.

Very impressed with the shop. Got the best deal on an indoor trainer, and really great post-sale support to dial it in perfectly. The guys at Mellow Velo are absolute gems! I just needed a single bolt that I lost for my cleat and they dug around in thier supplies and gave me one - no charge. The gent there also made sure my cleats were nicely aligned and tightened properly - also no charge. Fantastic, friendly service!
