I would not waste your money here! I feel completely taken advantage of. When I called to discuss my concerns I was told that the tech would call me to resolve this at an appointed time. The tech never called. I waited a few days, then called and asked to speak with someone in management, they took down my number and said they’d have someone call me, but no one ever did. When I originally make the appointment for someone to come out, I was under the impression that I was getting an exact duplicate of the key I handed over, which was a key with an attached fob. Nobody explained to me that I would be getting just the stand-alone key until it was finished when he handed it to me. The price we agreed upon was what what I was expecting to pay for the duplicate with the key fob as they said they price match. When I told him that this wasn’t what I was expecting, he said that the best they could do is offer me a discount on a key fob. I am not going to spend extra money with this company because of their mistake of not explaining well. They need to know that not all of their customers are going to be savvy on the terms and know what is what or know that you are getting a basic key by default. When I called to discuss what my options were, the dispatch manager made me feel stupid and said that it’s my responsibility as the customer to state exactly what I want just like you would at a burger joint, but is it not also the companies responsibility to explain what it is that they are offering rather than assuming that your customers know? If I hand a key and say I want an exact replica of this key, that’s what I expect to get.

I originally had an issue with this company after receiving terrible service. After calling multiple times and leaving two reviews I finally got someone to call me back and they made it right. I am impressed with how they handled it in the end and felt supported. If you have issues with someone, keep calling and request echo- she was very understanding, kind and helpful. My only “complaint” is that their comment response to my last review said that someone tried to call multiple times, and that was not true. I called multiple times over a period of a week before I got ONE call back, but I was working so they left a message. Once I called back they did however help me and took care of the issue And assured me that this was not common practice. They refunded me completely and told me that they would investigate the poor customer service I had. I was impressed with how caring Echo was. I would probably use them again, as I said I was impressed with how kind and helpful Echo was. I deleted my second review but for some reason am unable to delete my first one. But I would definitely give them another chance.

Where do I begin? I’ve had to call at least twice a day for a week and a half and got one call back from a technician. Never got a quote on a new door access system for our office and warehouse or strike covers out on multiple doors. The technician came out after constantly calling to try and get an actual time he planned on coming out. Finally, after two calls, he called me back and showed up with a dead drill battery which he had to charge at our office. The one door that the technician put a strike cover on is jagged and looks hideous. That is the only work that was done. I will NEVER use Clark’s for ANY of my personal or business needs in the future. I guess they don’t want our money which would have been substantial with the work we needed them to do. Additionally, I’ll be sure to share this experience with my personal and professional colleagues. This was a complete waste of time and simply unacceptable.

This locksmith was so wonderful from start to finish! They answered right away (on a Saturday too) and were able to connect me with a technician right away. We loved our technician Flynn! He was simply a delight to work with! He kept in contact with us when he was on his way and got the job done super quick! Just a super friendly guy! Also they had the best prices in town(I called 20+ places) and they really worked with us because honestly this was an unexpected expense right before having to pay a bunch of moving costs. I am so so so happy to recommend this place because their office staff and techs really know how to give great customer service! These people really deserve nothing but good things!

The best Locksmith I have ever experienced. Ashton was very helpful, polite and best at what is doing. Even though they have the window of 2 hours but they can call you 30 minutes before they get to your places , that is very thoughtful so that you do not feel stuck . Ashton again was very patients and helped me find the best solution for both of us to get things done. Amazing young man with the best services minded. The company is also very good at handling the calls and the schedule. And most importantly all the keys work perfectly. Very highly recommended. Their prices are very reasonable. Never showed up to our 9am appointment time. I drove 30 miles to meet him as scheduled and did not even receive a call notifying me that he would be late. I contacted him and it sounded like he was still in bed or caught off guard . He said he would not be there until 10am which was an hour late . I had another appointment and did not have time to wait nor did I trust a word he said. I called another company (one man operation) who dropped everything and made it over in 15 minutes, professional and excellent service . I would never use or recommend Clark’s as a result of this incredibly negative experience.

Lost my only key to my car that was parked on the street in NW Portland. I called and they told me someone could be there reasonably soon and I got a call that they were on their way at the time quoted. Alex showed up and he was great. Friendly, obviously knew his stuff. Got into the car, took out the glove compartment lock to work with, and in a reasonably short amount of time I was on my way with two new keys. And given what I’d been quoted from the dealership to just get a single replacement key, it wasn’t hugely expensive. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again ( but hope I don’t need to)

I am on vacation, and ended up losing my keys. Called around, and Clark's seemed the cheapest and fastest. Their dispatcher set me up quickly, telling me a tech would call me shortly. Ten minutes later, Flynn called me back and said that he could be there within 40 minutes. I put the phone down, and before my next blink finished Flynn had arrived. He was extremely professional, collecting my information and making a new key in under 15 minutes. It was a pleasure to have him help me, and he deserves a pay increase because of his punctuality, professional attitude, and excellent service!

5 star experience, hands down. Ashton helped me where I locked my keys in my car at work. I called ahead of time for after work- they were on time, efficient, and a no hassle transaction. My car also has frameless windows which he was able to work around without any damage. Just before I thought it was all said and done, my car wouldn't start since they were in the ignition draining the battery all day. Just before he left, I waved him down and he helped push and jump my car. Without him, I wouldn't have made it home after a 12 hour day. Thank you for the excellent service.

Wow, I was so impressed!!!!! I woke up to realize I locked a door I don’t have a key for, and randomly googled some locksmiths. I called Clark’s Locksmith Solutions and the operator was so nice, I immediately got out of my bad mood. The locksmith, Brian, arrived within 20 minutes and was able to unlock the door seamlessly! These guys are awesome! The latch mechanism in the doorknob of the front door of my house broke, leaving my door permanently fastened shut. After trying various ways to fix it myself, I exhausted everything I could think of to try and called these guys. They responded immediately and had my door open and a new doorknob /lock mechanism installed only a little over a half hour since I called them. Not only that, but the locksmith was professional, friendly, and informative. Great experience!

Had to stop by and give a shout-out to Jake the technician who helped me get back into my apartment last night. Turned what could've been a potentially horrible night into a minor inconvenience. He showed up earlier than estimated and was able to get me back into my apartment with no problem. on top of it, he was very pleasant and the experience was as smooth as possible. Already locked their phone number into my cellphone just in case I ever need a locksmith again.

Not only were they were friendly and fast, but they were more affordable than other places I had called. Not to mention I was in a parking garage during an event and they came right in without hesitating when others said no. Quick work, and got me back in my car with 0 damage. I am so thankful for John! I had a different servicer/company help install a new doorknob w/code system and they did a shoddy job. Today: I couldn’t even close/lock my door!!!! Out of desperation, I called Clark’s around 5:30pm and John showed up to my house at 8:00pm and finished the job in less than 15 minutes. Robert was awesome! I forgot my keys and locked myself out of my apartment building, like an idiot. I called at 2:11 AM and was in the door before 3. Robert was there when he said he would be, and gave me an exact quote before performing unbelievably quick service. He also did it without causing any damage to my building's door, which is great. Needed a couple of car key fobs made. Clark's quoted me a price range that was significantly lower (like 1/2 to 2/3) than some of the other places I called. When the technician, Alex, called to confirm my appointment, he actually said he could do it for lower than that. Alex was prompt, professional, and straight shooter, which I appreciate. Arrived to work in North Portland to find someone drilled through our locks trying to break in. We were unable to get into the business because of the damage. I had a guy named Alex come to my place to get the key done. He actually was $200 cheaper then what I expected and gave me the option to go with the traditional style key instead of the key fob. He took the key and within 10 minutes was in and out just like that. These guys are INSANE I’m keeping them for later preference thank you guys!!!!

As of 7 Aug '23 owners description says their office is open for walk in key copying 9-5, but it's semi-permanently closed according to the sign on the door. Waste of my time. I went to the Pearl Ace Hardware and was able to copy my keys there. To the owners: please update the owner's description on Google maps to say the in-person office is now closed.

Even though I said it wasn't a rush job, Aaron came out within an hour of my call, and was able to rekey four deadbolts in about 45 minutes (even though one of them was a particularly complicated one!). The quote was very reasonable and the final total stuck to it. Super professional and helpful and explained everything clearly. Would recommend.

Danny H. helped us out with a poorly installed garage door lock which had jammed and trapped us outside of the house. He was fantastic to work with and was able to reach us within 30 minutes.
