I come here pretty often. I called in a togo order, spoke with the GM, the whole entire time we’re on the phone he made it very CLEAR, he was irritated. I wanted the tomato, mozzarella, sandwich made like a salad, he acted as though it wasn’t possible to do. He literally talked to me in the most condescending way. I didn’t say anything, I understand every day is not a good one. I go to pickup my order, as soon as I walked in, it was as if he was waiting, he was like are you Victoria, then proceeded to further explain, what I assume was the rest of what he didn’t get out the worst customer service, I have ever received from this establishment. If he could say idc, it’s very clear he would’ve. If he treats customers like this, he treats the EMPLOYEES WORST. Leaving out other customers have apparently dealt with his attitude too. It’s unacceptable, ESPECIALLY AS A GM an BAD FOR BUSINESS, ITS TOO MANY RESTAURANTS AROUND US FOR US TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH UNHAPPY WORKERS!!!!

Corner Cafe Nashville This is a very small location. They have a order ahead. I was eating there so I ordered an D.C. chicken salad sandwich with chips. I also ordered a handheld lemon pie. When the buzzer went off to alert that the order was ready it was not for our order. Our order took a few more minutes. My sandwich was kind of bland and really didn't have a lot of chicken in it. There was lots of tomato, lettuce, onion, almonds, apples and craisins. There was just too much going on with this sandwich. The handheld lemon pie had powered sugar on it, which makes actually holding it a messy choice. I chose to put it on my plate and use my fork and knife. It had a great taste, but the edges were really tough.

We were in Nashville earlier this week, and happened upon this delightful and delicious eatery! The food was awesome, and the coffee fantastic...but what REALLY raises the bar is the staff. Angie and the crew on saturday 29 Feb. took GREAT care of us, and didn't mind that it was 20 minutes before closing! SO impressed, we returned on monday 02 Mar. to fill up before our flight home to Kansas City. There was Angie...remembering us, and treating us like old friends! It was busy with tourists, business people, and other locals too. Angie, and the crews made us feel special. Our continued thoughts and prayers are with all y'all. No doubt about it...we too, are NASHVILLE STRONG!!!

I went to Corner Bakery Cafe for a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. It's a small place that offers take out and dining in options. The bake goods all looked fabulous. I forced myself to choose between the coffee cake and a brownie cause I definitely didn't need both. I went with the coffee cake, it didn't disappoint but I still wish I would have gone with the brownie lol. Staff was really nice. I also had the bacon Avocado bowl minus tomatoes. It was delicious. Good job Corner Bakery...good job

I needed a small but very last minute catering order for 8am. I placed the order online at 12:30am the day of, and by some miracle they had it ready for me at 7:30! I was absolutely expecting them to decline the order since it was less than 8 hours of turn around and placed in the middle of the night. They did it without complaint and greeted me warmly when I arrived to retrieve the order. I am so thankful this worked out & CB really saved the day. While I do not encourage putting anyone in a time bind like I did, it was nice to know they would make it work. This experience has made me a return customer. Thank you Corner Bakery staff!

Dishonest employee. Can't comment on the desert we got due to being so bothered about the situation! We got a lemon bar, a water cup & 1 strawberry lemonade. Charged over $7 for a med. drink. Addressed w/staff & she stated they charge extra for the flavoring. Mind you the strawberry lemonade was right beside the regular lemonade, which was self serve. & We were given an empty medium cup to fill ourselves at the "drink station". The price listed for a med. was nowhere near what we were charged. I addressed & got this sorry response above. The lady working the register then "disappeared" while we were there! See photos.

4 strikes. I much prefer to leave good reviews but also want to share bad experiences as necessary. This one started off bad and just never got better. We ordered and after closing out were told they were out of ingredients of one of the items we ordered. We selected another option, that was less in cost, and weren’t offered a refund. It wasn’t a big deal so we didn’t ask for one. Then my wife didn’t get her coffee cup, and I didn’t get my latte and we had to ask for both. If this rating were just about the food I’d give them a 3.5 but the execution on the overall experience was pretty bad. You live you learn.

So pleased to have found this breakfast spot during our stay in Nashville, truly the best! Everything was delicious: coffee selection, sweet teas, bagels, parfait, breakfast sandwiches (try the bblt & egg, so much bacon! Or the Anaheim scrambler, wish I got to try their prime rib & egg!). Owner is so sweet, nothing but good things to say about this place, truly a gem in SoBro. If i was a local undoubtedly this would be my daily go to! And best of all, unlike literally anything else in this city, this bakery is so reasonably priced, I wish they were open for dinner!!!

  • Tristen Smith

Had a nice little lunch here yesterday and right off the bat we noticed how great customer service is. Second to none. I appreciate the amount of passion each and every worker has about their job, no matter what it is. I had the shrimp scampi and my girlfriend went with the loaded potato soup/chicken panini thing. I enjoyed the scampi and she enjoyed her meal. I had a little taste of the potato soup and it’s incredible. Definitely give this little store a try next time you’re in downtown Nashville. I can’t wait to come back and explore your menu. Thanks again!

  • Laura Drummond

Great food and customer service. What I need to comment on is the amount of waste. We were not asked if we were sitting down or wanting to-go, so when we got our food we were shocked at the amount of waste. Multiple plastic containers and plastic forks each of us (3 ppl) in our own plastic bags, and no recycling to dispose of anything. We are from Canada so it may be a difference culterally but it was very environmentally irresponsible and enough to not return. Too bad because we did enjoy the food and options.

I have been going to corner bakery all my life in Los Angeles. I was so excited it was here in Nashville. The service in Nashville is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced in my life! The staff is incredible and so sweet and attentive to my niece and nephew and helped us out with coloring pages and crayons with out me having to ask for it. This was by far the best service I have ever experienced in a corner bakery and I will be back many many more times.

  • Thomas Rains

The Corner Bakery is a good place for lunch or brunch. I had the albacore tuna sandwich and mixed green salad with a hibiscus lemonade for lunch today. The ingredients were good and fresh, and the employees were nice with positive personality. I will eat there as many times as I can while working downtown. They have a good, healthy, tasteful menu, want to try everything on it. Good work Corner Bakery Cafe. You are a gem to the downtown area.

  • Lauren Moore

Was my first time in Nashville and this cafe was on our way to our air BNB. I had no idea what I wanted but Sam was at the front counter / register and was very helpful and patience. The food was kind of slow for being sandwiches but because of Sam's awesome customer service we will be back during our trip and will recommend this cafe! Thanks again Sam. Edit — sandwich ceaser salad and potato soup was really good !! Highly recommend

  • Gabriela “Gabi” Naveda

A place to grab a coffee with a dog friendly patio! There’s not too many like these around here! The menu was thorough for breakfast and lunch items. Reasonable prices- got a hearty breakfast and coffee for two under $30. Vegetarian options. Super friendly and engaging staff. Will return!

Love love love this little corner bakery. Good atmosphere, very friendly staff, great coffee, and great food. You have to stop by and try the chocolate truffle coffee. It is by far the best coffee I have ever had. Beating Starbucks, Green bean, and Seattle's Best. While you are there order from the food menu. Breakfast is great and so is lunch. Hurry though because they close at 3 PM

  • Heather Turak

The woman working the counter was so delightful! I did not get her name, but she was so kind and very personable. We are in town for a conference and came upon this place by chance. We will be back tomorrow! Highly recommend!!

The hardest scratchiest sub bread I've had. The kind that a day later and the top of your mouth still hurts. Ingredients inside the sandwich were fresh and good, just the bread was awful. And the carrot sticks for the side were to that getting slimey point. So idk what was up with my meal. Place seemed popular and busy, but I wouldn't choose it again.

  • Katie D.

Cute little corner bakery that we stopped at quite a few times in the couple days we were there and everything from the cinnamon rolls, Bundt cakes, breakfast wrap, and coffee were all good. Only complaint was an egg breakfast sandwich wasn’t hot but the breakfast wrap was super hot so maybe just a one time thing. Definitely recommend stopping by!

  • Rizoletta

The moment we entered the African-american cashier started with an disrespectful attitude. She intentionally gave us the wrong order and blame us about it. After we gave the order I politely said Thank you and she faked my thank you. The owner was very nice I wish he changed the cashier because she is only on her phone and disrespecting the shop.

  • Kelly Palmerton

They’re great. I got a text message saying my delivery was cancelled so I called to ask if that meant my whole order was cancelled. They said they no, they use doordash for delivery. After they tried reaching out to doordash and didn’t get an answer, they ended up having one of their own workers deliver it. Definitely appreciate their dedication!

  • Ellie

A great place to eat healthy food with different taste! I mean different taste from places like Panera Bread. Also, for sure I love their Cinnamon Creamy Cake! it is delicious. It is affordable and great food with a great portion! I know this chain from OKC and now I'm excited we have in Nashville. I took my coworkers and all were happy too!

  • Derick P

Everything is made in house and is delicious. Also their prices are better than other well known coffee places. So you feel good after you leave and not like you had to make a choice between having a cup of your favorite or buying gas to get home later. Staff has always been hospitable as well which certainly adds to the visit.

  • Imagineer at Heart

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The food was exceptionally tasty; especially for the price point. Some co-workers and I ordered through door dash, and every single one of us was pleased with the experience (a rarity in this office). I will definitely have to visit the location in person in the future.

  • D

Corner Bakery Cafe is a wonderful spot to grab coffee, pastries, salad, soup or sandwiches. Everything I have tried here has been delicious. The staff is friendly and the dining area and restrooms are clean. The prices are also very budget friendly compared to other downtown eateries. I highly recommend this cafe!

  • John Gosselin

A must try for anyone in Downtown Nashville. Go in have a great breakfast or lunch. If your lucky Angie will be your server she will make you feel like you have known her for year. Try the BLT trust me you will not be disappointed. As always I do not receive any type of compensation or discounts for my reviews.

Same quality as IHOP only double the price. Eggs were over salted and overcooked. Pancakes were soggy, Salad was bland and tasteless. (Suggestion: try using arugula instead of iceberg) Only good thing I can reccomended is some of their sandwiches like the caprese tomato made the bad experience worth it.

  • Kevin K (Coach KK)

Skip the overpriced breakfast at your hotel and walk around the corner and hit Corner Bakery Cafe. Order at the counter, serving breakfast all day, even when signs are turned around with lunch menu, and it comes out hot and fast. Generous portions, try the cinnamon roll french toast....oh was it good!

  • Jackie Tang

Their paninis are the highlight of the show! Everything inside the panini is a well thought out combo, therefore, each bite is really flavorful. In addition, things are well laid out in the panini, every bite is pretty consistent. It is a good breakfast joint or a place to grab a quick bite to go.

  • Thomas Kiffney

Average food, very slow service but the worst was we ordered two pancake breakfast. When the order came out we had one small syrup. Asked for another and the lady a nasty face a said we didn't need another. Two orders of pancakes and one small container of syrup that isn't enough for one. Sad.

  • Estrella Chanquet

I ordered the cinnamon cream iced latte it tasted fantastic! The Chicken Pomodori Panini and Rustic Italian Panini was delicious and flavorful! Lastly, the strawberry and cheese croissant was scrumptious! The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again soon...

  • Amanda K.

I ordered lunch from here via Postmates at work today. This was my second time ordering from them. Both times, the food was not disappointing. The chicken orzo soup is so delicious. Their salads and sandwiches are great as well. It’s a great, light lunch option in Nashville.

  • Jason Moos

Very good eatery. Food had good flavor and looked and tasted fresh. Seating for around 30 so a bit on the small side but they deliver the food fast so the turnaround time is pretty quick. We came at 10:00 on a Saturday and had no wait. By 10:30 we were back on the town.

  • John McAlister

Love this place!!! I was in a hurry and decided to grab a muffin, but when I saw the menu, I couldn’t resist a full breakfast and I’m glad I went for it. This place has something for everyone. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I will be back! Great job everyone!

  • Susan Daye

Their breakfast is really good, great choices for having a limited number of items! I liked the oatmeal with toppings, and my husband liked the Anaheim Panini. Coffee was good too! Service was fast and efficient. No complaints, I will go here first in other cities too!

  • Cheralee Stover

The food was great and the service was very polite and helpful. The dining room was too small, with diners waiting on both tables and food at the same time. I wish they could have been about 25% bigger, especially with their location so close to the Music City Center.

  • Health & Wealth

Love the breakfast egg bowl here! Very downtown location right beside music city center and the country music hall of fame. The staff are friendly and they have amazing choice of pastries and deserts! The truffle mocha is delicious! Highly recommend for breakfast!!!

  • Doug Stucki

I opted for some scrambled eggs and was not disappointed. The food came out quickly and was hot. The latté was a little too hot, but that wasn't a big deal. The eggs were done, not dry, not runny. The price was also reasonable for what you get.

  • Jessica Alvarez

Yummy food and great service, but the prices have gone up and the food portions have gotten smaller. I ordered the Avocado Turkey salad and it had two, little pieces of avocado. My chicken pasta had three tiny pieces of chicken. More

  • Mary Dewey

I had a breakfast bowl and my husband had a panini. The food was fresh, nicely seasoned and served up hot. They have non-vaccinated teas and the staff was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. We ould definitely eat there again.

  • Liz Costanzo

The location is close to the convention center. Stopped by for a cup of coffee - though their machine could not make a cafe au lait - the barista provided a nice latte - cheers!

Stopped in for a quick bite. Caesar salad wasn't anything notable, just another basic Caesar, eh. The Mac n cheese did not come with breadcrumbs, as I'm pretty sure, was stated on the menu, and it was runny.

  • Willa Samuel

I enjoyed the friendly service and my sandwich was very good. All the ingredients was fresh. I am definitely going back. I also like the fact that they serve breakfast all day for all us breakfast lovers.

  • Alexander Shyshla

Good place to get some food. Great salads. Good sandwiches. Clean place. They have good classic lemonade and strawberries lemonade. Also they have good subs. Great pastries. Kids meal wasn't really good.

  • Simon Seidl

If you are used to the European bakeries..this is NOT a bakery..just a friendly note :) (for those pondering about my comment, google what French, Italian..or pretty much any bakeries look like overseas.)

  • Mercedes

The food was awful. And poorly put together. Workers looked like they did not want to be there and were highly rude. You can hear people in the kitchen being loud and cursing. Horrible customer service

  • Stephen Maher

Need this place to be a good lunch option. I haven't found that to be the case yet. Oddly tables often are not bused even though there are numerous staff members present ( for such a small shop).

I thought the food was good. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. There was hardly anything on it. Very disappointing considering the high cost - not a good value.

  • Anthony Gatlin

A bit pricey. Sandwiches are good. I often get the Cheddar Broccoli soup. Place is always busy--which is a testament to the popularity. Pretty quick for lunch.
