Not worth the discount. I've never had a prescription filled on time. EVER. I even called in advance today before I came to the store. Tech said it was actively being filled and would be done within 5 minutes. I get to the store with my sick baby (45 minutes later) and it's still not done. They say 15 minutes at the counter. I go get groceries, come back, still not done. While I'm standing here with my cart & screaming kid I think 'may as well get a flu shot while I'm waiting' since they got upset when I said I'd go pay for groceries and be right back. Inquire about the shot and the clerk actively tries to talk me out of it because I would have to fill out paper work for it. Seriously??? Btw, I've been here over an hour and I'm still waiting for the prescription. And that flu shot. And to check out. Switching pharmacies after today.

DO NOT FILL HERE. This pharmacy is very unreliable. They have a phone automated refill system and I was told that, in order to get my Rx when I need it, I need to speak to the pharmacy staff. That makes no sense. The system informed me that it would be ready yesterday after 2:30pm, but I came in today to get it and it STILL WASN'T READY. Why have an automated system tell you when your meds will be ready, if it's not accurate or reliable?! Their excuse was, "We are much busier than the West Valley store." Not acceptable. In addition, they had major issues getting in contact with my doctor's office when I needed more refills. They had the wrong fax number, and they didn't call the doctor's office after TWO BUSINESS DAYS of no response from them. I had to switch pharmacies to finally get it figured out! Ridiculous!

I don't know about other Costco's but this place is terrible! They NEVER have my prescription, even if my prescriptions are being held there... Also, the pharmacists are unhelpful and condescending. The people who ring you up are nice, but other than that, total chaos. I've filled three rX's here and have waited more than six hours total AFTER the allotted 20-30 minute fill time. Awful. Never going back. Oh, and generic starts at $10, even if you're a member. Walmart is cheaper. Sad Costco, sad. Edit: Evette is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with, she deserves a raise. I was still at the pharmacy for over three hours today so my one star stands, but Evette is a saint!!!

I used to use my local Rite-Aide. That is until I learned (this was YEARS ago) that a medication my doc prescribed was not covered by my insurance plan. It was still under its 10 year exclusive patent, thereby, no generic substitute existed. I was a self pay customer for this astoundingly expensive name brand drug. I paid $650.00 a month for about six months. Then, my doc mentioned that Costco only charges $74.00 for the exact same drug! No wonder our neighborhood Rite-Aid split for good!! All I can say is, good riddance you lousy crooks! Costco rocks it in every single way.

The service here is beyond redemption, especially the bald dude with the goatee, wouldn't answer my question if a generic was available, his lazy ass answer was "times are changing man". The fluctuation in pricing is unbelievable. At this point in my life, I just don't see myself wasting any of my precious time shopping here. I no longer find any value to shop there because of the lines and the wait time for everything. Picture this........ the jack wagons at corporate doubled the size of this particular store but didn't add any additional registers.

Told a 45 min wait for a prescription that was called in because when I showed up they handle the queue in order of arrival. They should have a mechanism to put people that are waiting in person in a different queue so we aren’t waiting behind people that won’t show up for hours or days to pick up their scripts. I did ask them to talk to the pharmacist and tell them I was waiting. They filled the script in 15.

For Shame! THEY have decided they are TOO GOOD for PATIENTS on Medicaid, even the ones with Memberships. I am stuck with W-M, who constantly lies & refuses to fill all of my prescriptions until I have contacted them 3-5 times, & have had to get stern with them. I do Not deserve to be treated as Less Than Human. I am a Hardworking Mother of 2, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, caregiver, & a Student.

I have been using the Costco Pharmacy for several months now. The employees in the pharmacy department are always pleasant to work with and have gotten all my meds into the system to let me know when I need to order refills. They quickly let me know if I have a prescription that has expired and if given permission they get hold of my doctor quickly. No problems at all, just lots of smiles!

These guys/girls are amazing! I have had bad experiences at other pharmacy's. I have always received the best service and advice from this team. I've been through a lot medically this year and they have been the best. I will come here over any other pharmacy even if I think I could save a few dollars. Which there prices are so low I don't think that's possible. Thanks for all you do!

Worst experiences ever - abrupt, dispassionate to the point of meanness, impatient when what they are saying is not consistent with other Costco experiences. Never had a good experience at this Costco. Have been without meds for months because of "shortage" and experiencing significant distress; they could care less or be bothered to give a millimeter of caring.

Costco has great prices at their pharmacies, I can get some of my drugs for much cheaper than I can anywhere else. However, this isn't a five-star review because they are often slow and they've lost refills for me before. But I will keep going because of price and because they always work it out whenever something goes wrong.

The staff at this pharmacy are generally really kind and helpful. I really like their texting system that reminds me about refills and tells me when they are ready. I never go to Costco just for Rx fills, so I'm not bothered by the occasional 10-15 minute wait, but most times the Rx is just ready when I get there.

I don't like to leave negative reviews. I always try to be a positive voice for establishments and flourishing businesses. The incompetency at Costco is staggering, I've been treated with disrespect and have had hours of my time wasted. Go somewhere else.

The people at this pharmacy are nice, but EVERY prescription I go to pick up will be "ten more minutes." Doesn't matter if it was called in three days before, or two hours before. It's like they don't start working on it until you show up. Very annoying.

I really don't care how long the wait is, even if it's tomorrow but don't tell me 30 min if it's really 1 hr 30 min. You can do better than this, Costco! You are so good at everything else, but this dept has tons of room to improve.

Never have had a bad experience here. The pharmacy is always on top of their game, and they try to get through as many customers as possible. They're helpful and kind whenever I interact with them.

Usually have some pretty long wait times that they don't really hold to most of the time it runs longer but service is always friendly and apologetic when it's taking longer.

The worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They are rude and unhelpful and honestly just stupid. Walmart pharmarcies are better with customer service and that says something.

I am so very often moved by the kindness and compassion of the pharmacy staff! Such friendliness and care in a large corporate environment is a true gift. Thank you!

Only took 90 minutes today to get my prescription, and my phone was dead so no music or reading. Still better that Walgreens? :/

Ate lunch on the go. Hot dogs, pizza, chicken bake & mango slushy. Prefer the other fruit smoothie (red color).

Just terrible all around. Save yourself the frustration and go anywhere else.

Wait time can be a bit but worth it for the discounted price of medication.
