My insurance requires us to use VRX pharmacy. If they did not, I would never patronize VRX again. VRX has on multiple occasions (5 as of this writing) told me that a prescription would be filled, only for me to call in days later and find out it was never sent. They have sent too little of a prescription and forced me to call to have more sent. They have failed to bill insurance and used my card on file to pay the full price for a prescription that they then mailed out. I've been told the technician would call back in 5 minutes after calling my insurance company only to receive no call before they closed for the day 90 minutes later. I've had to drive two hours find trip to pick up prescriptions I had run out of because they did not send them when I called and ordered them (3 times as of this writing). The mistakes this pharmacy has made are astonishing. I truly am in shock they are still an operating business. When I confronted their head pharmacist about the issues, his response was that I should try to fill prescriptions earlier to give them wiggle room for mistakes to happen. If you want a pharmacy that does not communicate, makes mistakes with your medication, does not fill prescriptions when you order them, and blames you for not giving them enough wiggle room to make mistakes, VRX is the place for you. If you have an option, thank your lucky stars and take your money elsewhere.
I have been using VRX for quite a while but I am ready to switch to somewhere else. I go over on my lunch hour and ask when the Rx will be ready so that I can get back on time. They have NEVER yet had it ready when they say it will be ready. Today the girl asked me if it was debit or credit and by the time I said credit, she had already put debit into the machine, so we had to go back, which of course took more time. I'm not sure why she bothered to ask me. On top of that they are not friendly AT ALL. After posting this review, I received a call from VRX apologizing and taking my concerns to heart. I feel like that was very professional of them, and told them I would give them another chance. So for now I'm changing it from one star to three. It may go up even more after I have worked with them again. This last time I went in, I didn't wait for my prescription but let them know I'd pick it up later. In a little while they called me to let me know that I had left the wrong prescription with them, and asked me for some of the information from the correct one. When I go there they had it all ready for me and just needed the correct the correct written prescription. I really appreciate the fact that they took the time to call me so that they could have it ready for me when I got there. Therefor, I am adding more stars. Thank you VRX
VRX is the only specialty pharmacy contracted with DMBA so this is the only place I can get my extremely expensive fertility meds. In October I ordered $4000 worth of medication, but they mailed me the wrong syringes. I didn't realize I had the wrong ones until the night I was supposed to start using them. I can't even describe how stressful that was. I ended up having to use a larger syringe that was less accurate and it was very frustrating considering the medication is so expensive and time sensitive. This month I ordered $6600 in medication and they charged me for all of it but only mailed me $1200 worth of meds. I called immediately after receiving the order and they seemed nonchalant about the fact that they forgot to mail $5000 worth of medication. Luckily I didn't need those meds right away and they overnighted the rest of the medication. If I hadn't done this process a few times I wouldn't have known what to look for or how much I needed and the consequences would have been horrifying. An IVF cycle that gets interrupted or cancelled can result in the loss of thousands of dollars. I understand that the medications and syringes are confusing (believe me!), but if patients are paying that much money it doesn't matter how nice you are on the phone, it needs to be correct.
I work nearby and always used to come and get drinks for me and my co-workers, the cashiers are rather nice or should I say most of them are but after today, I won't be returning. I came in today, trying to hurry to get back to work, not really paying too much attention to my surroundings, to get a few drinks . I was popped out of my thinking when a cashier said "Ma'am, the floor is wet" in a rather annoyed tone. I looked down and realized that I she had been mopping and said "oh sorry, and tried to walk on the side so as not dirty the floor more. Instead of leaving it at that, the cashier got snippy adding a "That's why I put signs there" and rolled her eyes. As someone who works in customer, I was rather surprised she was being so rude. If had actually been close to their closing time I would have understood a but more but I hadnt meant to dirty the floor and tried to leave quickly and carefully. I remember this same cashier being a bit snippy to another customer for a different matter as well, so perhaps that's just the kind of person she is, but to me, rolling your eyes in front of a customer and making snippy comments isn't okay. I won't be returning.
With the recent fires and smoke I had a sudden and unexpected asthma attack and ended up in urgent care for treatment I was able to get a rescue inhaler but not the daily medicine I needed. It looks days to get things resolved with my DR and insurance company but I finally got the prescription I needed just as I was heading out of town. I tried to get it quickly filled with several other pharmacies but they were not helpful at all. I called Vrx to see if they could help. They not only did all the legwork they could before I arrived to get me set up in the system so I wouldn't have to wait, they also pulled the perscription to ensure they had it and they found a discount program that saved me $330 compared to filling at other pharmacies. They went above and beyond to get me out of town for work on time and saved me a bundle of money. Can't say thanks enough!!!
Every time I've called or visited the pharmacy regardless of how busy they are, I'm treated as though I'm their most important customer and that is rare. Each Pharmacist and technician is friendly, thorough, courteous and always willing to go the extra mile. It's genuine, good ole' fashion customer care and service with modern day technology and convenience right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown Salt Lake City. It captures what Salt Lake City is all about! I always recommend VRx pharmacy at City Creek to newcomers in town even if it's just to get an ice cream cone while they're walking around!
VRX has great customer service. The pharmacy strives to make ordering and picking up medication run as smoothly as possible. They are happy to help with concerns and any questions. The pharmacy is located close to the food court, you can get cheaper drinks and chips with your food. I personally enjoy the dunford chocolate donuts which are fresh everyday. Vrx also has a collection of Utah souvenirs, I'd say it's one of the best locations in the City Creek Mall. With a Shopping Passport you can get a discount on gift purchases and if you spend over $10 dollars you get a free magnet.
Walmart is much more friendly, faster and works with my insurance. Because of my insurance change, I have to use VRX. I just started coming here for the last 3 months, every time I pick up my meds I have to ask them if they charged both insurance, and all the time, they say NO, really, how hard is it? Now, I call ahead and still they don't get it. Also, when I get there, I'm rushing because its my lunch, they take their time, they ignore me while I'm standing there looking at them, and no smiles, they all look like they hate their job. Well, if you hate your job, get another job.
Dropped off 2 prescriptions for refill. Was told they would have to call prescribing physician with questions and they would do that and fill it the next day. 4 days later and out of med I called VRX to find out what was going on. Was told by an extremely rude tech named Jordan that they hadn't called the physician yet and it would take them another couple of days. The ignorant treatment I received is unacceptable. I plan on going to another pharmacy that treats their customers with respect.
Okay so the ice cream machine is the best part of this store especially if you go on a Friday afternoon and the machine is low and they let you load up a cone, dump it into a bowl and then add more ice cream for just 75 cents total. It is also nice to have a snack shop close to the office for dried banana chips, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, and carrot sticks. There is also a frozen burrito there called the “bomb”..... I don’t think I am brave enough but one day I will consume said bomb.
Not an actual customer for prescriptions, but commonly visit for drinks, snacks, and the occasional allergy med. Staff here has always been polite and helpful and store is very clean. Working in World Trade Center this place is the most convenient one-stop-shop that City Creek has to offer. I'd recommend going for 75 cent ice cream on Fridays!
The pharmacy was so helpful in getting my prescriptions filled quickly during my lunch hour. Jannika, the operations manager, provided great customer service and even helped find me a discount online for one of my more expensive medications -- saving me more than $150. They have great drinks and fun things in the shop area as well.
I've been a customer of my fair share of pharmacies over the years and I have to say, I'm deeply impressed with the quality of customer service and seemingly genuine care that the folks at Vrx pharmacy have shown me. I'f you have need for pharmacy services and are in the Salt Lake Area, I highly recommend checking out Vrx.
Best pharmacy ever! I was using my Insurance’s preferred mail order pharmacy previously to switching to VRx. I called and spoke to Janni and she was able to transfer my prescription to their pharmacy and save me $80 a month. They truly went above and beyond. On top of that they deliver too. #bestpharmacyever
The guy that always wear the blue masks and glasses got mad because he locked the door 5 mins early and had to unlock it for people to get in and out.. i don’t know why he’s even locking to door 5 mins early when people still need to use it!
Note that the pharmacy is not open until 9am, the 7am weekday hours are for the overall store. Very convenient location for anyone on DMBA or otherwise. Really nice people who even put up with my crabbing that the hours are not clear on
Really great Pharmcy!! A pharmacist will call you if they have any questions for you and they are really good at answering any questions you have. And it's close to a traxs stop. You can also opt for them to mail your order to you.
When I moved to Salt Lake City I talked with the good people at Vrx about various shots I was considering. They always had a positive attitude during our conversations. This business is on two floors with the pharmacy downstairs.
The staff here are kind and patient. They are willing to go the extra mile by answering questions or by making adjustments when needed and able. I was and am thankful for this pharmacy. They have been helpful many times over.
This is the worst company I have ever tried to prior auth a medication with on my job. On hold 36 minutes and transferred everywhere. Got the right person who put me on hold for 24 minutes and never came back. What a joke!
This is the best pharmacy ever, Super helpful and friendly staff that is always helping me save money. Also In the years I’ve been coming here I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes. I would give 100 stars if I could!
I have been picking my prescriptions from VRx for years. Overall they have great customer service. They are friendly and efficient! They let you know via text when your RX is ready and the cost. Thanks VRx!!!
Took 4 tries to get this pharmacy to receive my prescription. Of the needles and syringes I received, half of the needles were curved or bent, and the syringes all caught at the 1mL mark. Very disappointed
I can't express how good the service is here. They are truly committed to good customer service - personable, friendly, helpful. It's rare to find anywhere that treats their customers this well.
This pharmacy sets the standard for best customer service. The staff's friendly attitudes & desire to be of real help is fantastic. I greatly appreciate their efficiency & accuracy.
This store is awesome! The only thing i wish is that there was a store like this one in Utah county. The staff are very knowledgeable and very helpfull. Thanks to you all!
Best service around. Very accommodating. Will mail prescriptions to your door with free shipping. and are always willing to help in any way possible!
I have never used VRX to fill a prescription but have bought food and drinks from their store. Their lunch special is an especially good deal.
I love filling my prescriptions at Vrx in SLC! They are always friendly and great at customer service! And the prices are good!
I tried to call and see if they had something, it rung 1 time and then a computer came on and said no one is available.
I got the COVID vaccine through Vrx. Marci and Janni were great. Best shot I've received. Didn't even feel it.
Their service is wonderful and their prices per prescription seem to be lower which is also great.
Great soda great atmosphere great location to the church office building ;) great employees
This place is super clean and the staff are super kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks!
Caffeine close to the Church Office Building! Yay! But everything is a tad over priced.
So helpful! The pharmacy is amazing!! They were quick and got me a discount.
The customer service at VRX is the best!! By far the best pharmacy in Utah!
Very friendly staff.. I changed my prescriptions to this pharmacy..
