My experience was fine, though I saw another woman's money eaten by the system as the machine she chose didn't work. This added at least another hour to her washing. She seemed to be on the phone to the proprietors, telling them the machine number. Noone turned up. She waited past closing for someone to arrive, noone did. We went round the corner to see if they'd come out if we were out of sight they might come. During the few seconds we were out of sight, the doors were quickly locked, and the person vanished. What the actual hell. 8 pounds stolen. It sickens me!

We have used this extensively over the last few months as unfortunately our rented flat does not have a washing machine and it is shockingly bad. Unfortunately it is the only one close to us as I would avoid it if I could. Multiple machines are often broken without always having signs on so you waste your money and there is never anyone there to help. We just did a wash on the hot setting and our clothes came out cold and dripping wet. It is also extremely overpriced, costing us about £12 all in all to do a wash. Terrible.

Would not recommend, came back in to pick up washing 7 mins before closing to find site locked up!! With our clothes still in the washer, surly this would be a locking up check ? Tried to call number to resolve issue as per web-site advice if your clothes get locked in, to receive no answer. First one star review I have ever left for any business, unfortunately our washer recently broke and I feel sorry for anyone having to rely on a launderette like this one to wash their clothes.

Staffords are still taking money. You put money in, there's no sign indicating that the machines are broken and nothing happens. Your money doesn't come out. For the machines that are not broken, we've worked out that you have about 15 seconds to put money or it's gone forever. If you call them, they claim to not know what's happening. This must be good source of income for Staffords. The machines are still dirty, do not heat up (washing machine and dryer), randomly open up.

£4 a wash which can fit a quite full blue ikea bags worth of laundry in. Lots of machines so you won't be waiting. Clear instructions for how to use machines. 50p for 4 minutes in the dryer. So you're looking at about £9-10 for a big blue bag of washing to be done. Doesn't sell washing liquid/power. But there is a Sainsbury's across the road.

Should have read the reviews - wasted £8 in coins and the machine didn’t start despite following the instructions exactly. Just don’t use cash here, card worked fine though. No one to talk to, number just goes to answer machine. Washing machines smell bad, hardly use any water during the wash cycles. Just stealing peoples money really

Been robbed of £13. I’ve tried to call the number and got an answering machine on both occasions. Left my details, never received a call back. Why should they get to keep my hard earned money? It’s a shame as it appears to be a well kept laundromat but I would avoid this place like covid unless you don’t mind having your money stolen.

Overall, a decent place. I've found the machines to be reliable and the quality of the clean and dry to be good. The price is on the high side, but the contactless is a blessing. Avaliability is good, but of course it gets busy on the weekend. The machines are high capacity so I tend to do a months washing in one go to cut the cost.

Is not a very clean space. the washing machine are not too bad, but the dry machines are not working very well and are more expensive than other laundries. I just recomended this place if you don't have other closer option to your home. In addition, many time are homeless inside eating, leaving everything dirty.

Giving one star unless refunded. Machines are unreliable. Both machines today "washed clothes" with basically no water. Clothes still had dry patches afterwards. Waste of money and noone there to refund. Have called and left message. Avoid at all costs. Will adjust review if refunded.

Complete rip off!! Cost me £6 to dry a load of clothes. Machines don't get hot at all. Washing machines need cleaning out regularly- clogged up with old soap. Water only comes out hot when the soap is being mixed in, for the rest of the wash it uses cold water!!

In the past couple of years they've installed new washing machines and today I noticed they've finally installed a contactless payment machine which makes life easier. Over the years I've had the odd issue with the tumble driers though.

Lovely experience! Place is super clean. Everything very clear and worked perfectly. Surprisingly calming atmosphere, with leisurely turning and gentle sound of the tumble dryers :-)

They are really lucky in being the only one in the area. Otherwise nobody would turn up. Prices are high and they don't accept card payments in the year 2021.

Great launderette for washing big items. I recommend using card for payment, as the coins can be swallowed. They did however issue the refund promptly.

All worked fine and was clean. Lost one star for value for money as quite expensive and requires coins which is a pain these days

Drier I used worked fine. But FYI it’s 50p for 4 minutes so very expensive comparatively, and they all smelt a bit mouldy...

Good laundrette gets busy. Need to be quick with coin in the driers or it will swallow your money.

Dryers do not dry. Spent more than double than what I would spend in park laundrette by Cosmo.
