This place is exactly what it claims to be. It’s a gravel lot with some hook ups and laundry. So for that, I can’t really fault the actual owners or campground. This place is serviceable. I am pretty surprised at all the reviews saying this place is quiet. Because that’s one thing I disagree with and would’ve liked to know before I came here. There are constant trains running right across the street. Which you also get stuck waiting for on the road all the time when you’re trying to get into downtown Jacksonville. There’s a barn next door that I guess gets rented out for parties and plays music until like 10 PM on random days of the week. They also are doing construction on the property every day, which typically isn’t overly noisy, but shakes your camper a lot. The wifi isn’t great. And if you have AT&T you have no cellular service. The campsite was also filled with cigarette butts, beer bottle caps, and other trash when we came. Granted, we came pretty last minute. Also, the area feels safer than proper Jacksonville, but it still doesn’t feel *that* safe. That’s this whole area though.

I would highly recommend to anyone trying to find a nice place to park their RV in Jacksonville. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and in my situation, went above and beyond and I could not be more appreciative for their help and flexibility. I'm a travel RN and was traveling alone. Not only did I find this campground to be incredibly safe and affordable, it's quiet with beautiful views and has laundry on site which is a huge plus. It's conveniently located just outside the hustle and bustle of Jacksonville, but with grocery stores, gas stations, and hardware stores within just a few miles of the campground. Very close to Jacksonville airport and can get to anywhere in Jacksonville within 15-20 mins. It was so nice to be able to leave work and come back to my camper, tucked away in the quiet and peaceful Crossbow park. I was there for 8 weeks and everyone that was there was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much.

Its so nice and QUIET. My daughter and I are new full time Rv'ers and working, we need to sleep. Wifi works. Water tastes good. Laundry. Full hook ups. Nice neighbors. We see "the girls", (the cows and pony) every morning. Nice management, helpful. 1.5 miles away is a Rowes grocery store, family dollar, pet store, Nails, Chinese take out, liquor store, Auto zone, etc. Farmers market on the side of the road with sea food - and cut firewood - cheap. The town of Callahan, (make a left out the driveway, keep going @13 mins), has more stores..nice seafood restaurant, (Cedar River), reasonable with big portions. Even a sushi restaurant, called Wasabi. The Winn Dixie mall, has hair cutting, dentist pawn, auto store, etc.. Go the other way on the highway 295N to the big mall @ 9 miles with a ton more restaurants and stores - Cracker Barrel, Lowes, huge Walmart, clothing stores, etc.

I recently stayed at Cross Lake RV Park in Jacksonville, Florida, and I had a great experience. The park is located just minutes from the Jacksonville International Airport, so it was easy to get to and from. The park has a variety of amenities, including full hookups, a dump station, and a laundry facility. There is also a small fishing pond on-site where guests can catch and release fish. The park is located in a quiet area, making it a great place to relax and unwind. I especially enjoyed the peacefulness of the park, as it was a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall, I had a great stay at Cross Lake RV Park. The park is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay in Jacksonville, Florida.

My name is Kerry Miller, and I have been here at Crosslake for over 8 months. I am down here as a skydiving tandem instructor at Skydive Amelia Island. I have come to know the owners Cavelle and Mickie. They run a very straightforward and affordable RV park. I get a monthly housing allowance and I could get closer to work, but I choose Crosslake because of Cavelle and Mickie. The area is secure and I feel comfortable going to work knowing that my property is secure. The owners are good people and they even give out beef packages during the late year holidays.

Crosslake RV park is a place of peace and solitude. My husband and I live here full time and we love it! The owner is responsive to communications and is prompt to resolve any issues. The park is located between a farm and a ranch, so the views of the land are beautiful. Love the sunsets. We highly recommend if you are looking for a place to rewind without the cost of a resort and it's less than 20 minutes to get to River City for dining and shopping.

This place fairly new. The owners are very nice and quick to answer any questoons and try to reasonably accomdate ones needs. The are light on amenities but are striving to improve. This is a very quite park, no noisy neighbors and does not have any riff-raff. My wife is retired and stays in the this rv park most of the time and she feels completely safe in this rv park. Highly recommend this park to everyone.

I absolutely love this place!! I travel for work and needed fast accommodations. They had a spot available for my 39’ 5 slide 5th wheel. My favorite thing about it is it’s next to a cattle ranch it’s country and not over crowded like other Rv parks. I definitely recommend

We love this place! The owners are great too! It's so peaceful here there's a giant lake that you can see in grazing along with laundry facilities and lots open spaces with amazing sunsets! This is a really great place because you have space! The park has a good vibe.

Very good place to live. Neighbors are very friendly and the price for long term stays are very reasonable and affordable. The landlords are great and if they notice a problem they fix it as soon as they can overall a very nice place to stay.

Management could not have been kinder to us. My husband was going to the Mayo for a 2nd opinion, so we came and left 4 separate times and each time they accommodated us, That was very comforting to us.

This is a fantastic place to stay. It's very quiet and my neighbors are great. The owners are constantly making improvements in order to make it even better. Can't imagine being anywhere else.

Very nice and quiet park. It’s very open and country feeling. The owners are some of the nicest people you will meet. They really care about renters. I would definitely recommend this park.
