First, I want to say that Emily was simply amazing. I can not thank her enough for her caring and thoughtful assistance. Although this park is right next to Jacksonville International Airport, the noise was nothing like living near a Chicago airport in that the planes come through, but not constantly. The Naval jets were to me very interesting to watch come and go. They would fly up and do some spins and I found it to be entertaining. I appreciated the mask mandate in the office and the signage was reassuring. With no immune system a single encounter could have been all she wrote. So I want to thank the staff for following the science and being safe. We made good neighbors while here and I enjoyed our talks. Stanley Walter, my old-timer Black Labrador was a hit. He made friends on our walks faster than I did. Some folks even came to say goodbye when they found out we were leaving. To him not me. Also, thank you for letting my brother stay in the tiny house!!! I had not been able to see my brother for several years and he wanted to come up to see us and be safe at the same time. Mission accomplished. The tiny houses are extremely cute, clean and modern. We enjoyed a nice fire by his place one evening and I even got the patient outside to enjoy it. Which was a big deal actually. The suggestion that I would have is to place more signs around, telling people to pick up their dog waste. They even supply dog waste bags for goodness sake. The dog park was nice, however I think some grading needs to take place as it was quick to flood and that is no good for a clean RV. The pool area and patio were a very nice and necessary respite for me. I was able to enjoy the pool on several occasions. Every thing was very clean and well maintained. The restrooms and shower area were very clean as were the laundry facilities. We did not accept any visitors other than my brother due to the virus, but if someone were to stayed here for leisure, the airport is only 7 minutes away, so if you stay your family can fly in and join you for a weekend very easily. One thing that stopped the 5 star is there is one staff member that I found to be unfriendly and frankly think she should not be working in the office. I only mention it because others staying in the park all agreed that she was crabby all the time. I think it is obvious which staff member that is. Anyways, in my future travels, I am certain to pass through Jacksonville and will make certain to stay here on my way south and back. Be safe everyone and Thank you again Emily, Sun RV Resorts should take note of her and give her a raise!

New nice park but so loud! We stayed here twice. Spacious spots (you can easily fit 2 cars in front of your 38' 5th wheel), clean, laundry app (was bugging after some time, u end up having funds u can't take out cause refills are flat amounts), grass is nice and you have plenty of it at ur spot, water pressure is good, easy highway access, people are nice overall, decent price (~$850) The disadvantages are: 1. constant plane noise (including military super loud planes that fly low very often making your rv vibrate). There is also highway and when you stay at the end of park at 500ish+ spots, you will hear that too (starting with a few spots by the road leading to the back section). The best spots are back-ins 9, 19, 11, but they all have the planes passing above. Back-in spots by the lake (southeast) could be a great option but we didn't stay there. 2. the office returns to sender all your mail unless you rent a mailbox for $16-19/month. I was lucky that they were nice and let me know that smth very important came my way that I was not even expecting, otherwise I would get in a big trouble. Also i was able to receive international packages here delivered by USPS (pick up at the office), UPS delivered to the spot, as Amazon and fedex. 3. Internet: 2 options. You use wifi that gets super slow after 5.30pm which is free. OR you pay $30/m to get a higher speed. During our first stay here, the internet was decent, last stay - we tried once and it was almost the same - unconsistent and much slower than promised. Dont rely too much of it. T-mobile (mint mobile) worked great here for hotspotting/internet. 4. SAFETY: we came back home and our front compartment was kind of bent, they opened it to peak in and dropped it there. The similar dings were found on side compartments doors as well, even propane doors what is ridiculous - they pushed a bar in and scaffed the paint. It was reported to the office. Overall, not too bad but plane noise does drive you nuts

I have a lot to say about this RV park but let's start with the reason why we reserved there. We were looking for a place to stay Friday night because of hurricane Ida. We were able to book here because they had available spaces. When we got there Saturday 8/28 at around 2pm my husband asked if we could stay a couple of hours after check out Monday 8/30 and that we would pay for the extra hours. My husband explained the reason why we stayed there and that he needed to work remotely and we needed wifi. The lady that helped him I don't know if she has a heart but she was so mean and told him if you stay a couple of hours after you need to pay for a another day. Another day for a couple of hours? There was was plenty of available spots so it wasn't that out spot was reserved. We've never had this kind of problem at any other rv resort or park that we've stayed anyways We had no choice but to stay and leave at 11am. My husband lost one day of work because of this, It's really sad that this place wasn't available to accommodate us due to the circumstances. I was very disappointed! Now I want to talk about actual stay there: the pool water was very salty I don't know why. The jacuzzi worked one day the next it wasn't working and the water was very salty too. The place is very noisy so if you're looking for a quiet place to stay this is not for you. They have a ant problem way too many. The place is clean that was nice. The bathrooms smelled really bad but looked a little clean. The space between the spots is reasonable and nice. Wifi was ok. The only reason why they got a 2 star it was because of an employee they have there he was so nice he even came to say goodbye and asked about our house. But your customers service need to improve ASAP.

This is an awesome RV park in Jacksonville FL owned by Sun RV resort. I consider this a true RV resort. This park is extremely well maintained, has a staffed office everyday, two swimming pools, two laundry facilities, a gym, and dog park area. The RV sites are great. They are all very large, nicely spread out, and come with a decent little yard. They offer some prime spots on the water as well as some with a fire pit for a little extra $. The park offers WiFi which is pretty good for the most part. Like any park, it is intermittent occasionally so I suggest having a backup option. The park is a variety of short term and long term tenants. It is divided into two sections- a large front and a small back portion. There is a flea market next door that is open in the weekends in walking distance. Everyone was very nice, friendly, and respectful during our five month stay. The staff was always very helpful anytime we had any questions or concerns. We were able to get packages from UPS and FedEx delivered directly to our site daily. USPS would be dropped at the office for pick up. This park is within 5 minutes of the Jacksonville airport and directly next to I95 so yes, there can be a lot of air and interstate noise from the two but it is a great location, easy access to and from I95 and the airport. This park is great to walk your pups as well or ride your bikes. Very safe and large- approximately 2 miles total from your site and back. Highly recommend a stay here!

First, let me just say the only way I would stay here again would be if absolutely necessary and if we were able to get a spot in the expansion area. It seems much nicer back there, probably because it’s harder to access for outsiders. The sites are decent, hookups were good, they allowed us to extend 1 night without issue, and it was close to many things. The back pool is also pretty nice and wifi was ok for the most part. Second, I say beware because your things WILL get stolen here. Management has made it very clear they know peoples things get stolen, especially laundry, but they have no codes or locks on the doors at all. There is no gated entry either, and the park is not in a great area. Our laundry was stolen and other people we talked to said they had their RVs broken into and laundry stolen as well. There was also a shooting 5 minutes away where 5 people were shot, apparently that’s a regular occurrence. Also beware of the noise! I typically don’t care about road noise, but the airplane noise was unbearable. They go ALL night long and they’re landing from directly overheard so they are close and loud. The train noise didn’t bother us. They also only have 10 washing machines for 700 some RV spots and trailers. Makes no sense. Not the worst stay we’ve ever had, but absolutely not worth the price or the risk to your things.

Huge park, good space between camp sites. Absolutely no shade to be found. When we came to pecan park, we came with two other families all booking at the same time sites side by side. My wife done the booking and didn’t notice a $30 fee you have to pay to lock in the site. But during the booking process you have to pick the site you want. Why go through the process of asking which sites we wanted if they were just gonna put us anywhere they wanted anyway. They in fact did just that. All three of us were booked in different areas. The $30 fee is a scam to get more money from you however if you don’t pay it then there is no telling which site you could actually end up in. They say the computer automatically does it to optimize the park but during our whole trip the two sites next to mine stayed empty therefore we could have all camped side by side. Would not recommend this park to my worst enemy. I would basically classify it as a old folks home of the rv world. I have four daughters and it made it hard to keep them entertained while not really anything to do. Plus all camp sites are positioned to make your camper door face the sun all day. Yes a awning gives some relief but the sun beats down on you while you sit outside. Not an enjoyable trip!!!

CONS! Amazing that they would put an RV park under the runway of a major airport. We "slept" in few minute intervals. It was truly miserable. When we came out in the morning the two neighbors who were there for one night as ell had the exact same miserable experience. The planes felt and sounded like they were landing on our RV. They came in about every 15-20 minutes at night and every few minutes during the day. I live near a military base and they fly fighter jets over our house daily but that is nothing like a the Pecan Park commercial jets landing on your RV roof. Might also take note of the heavy traffic from the live in residence passing by during the early morning and early evening - driving fast and seem to always have loud, old clunker trucks. There is nothing to do anywhere nearby so it is basically a place to sleep while traveling but the catch is you do not get to sleep. Pros: Staff was friendly and the place was clean. They have a nice dog play area. Concrete pads were level. Very convenient to I95.

I notice that all of my comments and your replies have been removed. I would say that I am surprised, but I am not. Your resort has cost me lots of money, all because of the incompetence of your front desk's inability to communicate guests and then lie about it. Your lack of asking the person who was paying the bill speaks of your managerial abilities... non-existent. Then to have FIVE deputies show up and you with arms crossed, with a smug look on your face. So much for you being the religious, honest businessman that you claim to be. Karma... In what way was I accommodated? By being told by the front office that I had 30 minutes to relocate because someone just HAD TO HAVE MY LOT? By never being told by the front office that I was now weekly? By being given an immediate eviction notice? Maybe you should have been more involved with this to get the whole story of what transpired, rather than relying on the front desk and your managerial skills. Oops...I forgot, you have none

  • Robert Picard

Firstly, the resort is brand new. It has two pools, lots pull through sites, and even cabins for friends and relatives without the common sense or finances to have they're own RV or camper. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating.... So why the three stars you ask. This resort is just off I95 at the entrance, the back side of the resort is up against the approach road for the Jacksonville international airport, and our site had an enormous red ant mound that I had to treat myself if I wanted to use the picnic table. Ok, not devastating things, I agree, but the kicker is this resort is directly under the approach path to the runway. Because of it'sclise proximity to the airport, the planes not only go directly overhead, but they are so close to the ground you can read the tail numbers. if you like constant, loud noise until midnight, this place is for you, but it is a far cry from a resort, or a campground.

  • do peace

It's a shame because the negative things about this park are mostly issues that the management or the owners can't do anything about. Like OMG the noise from the jets flying over non-stop. It was so loud in the office trying to check in that we had to talk louder to hear each other. Thought it would quiet down sometime but found out otherwise. Some of the other campers around us were leaving because of all the noise and it's not just the Jets there's about 60% full timers that live here construction workers with motorcycles and loud trucks. And the flight path the airport uses is directly over the park, not a little bit north or a little bit South but directly over. If you have no problem sleeping with loud noises then you'll like this park because the management is very good and they have a good swimming pool. Bring your earplugs!

  • C S

This is our third stay here at this resort. We chose this place for the decent price and its located in convenient location. There is a flea market next door. Close to Fernandina beach, Yulee and Jacksonville. RV spots have cement pads, clean, reasonably spaced apart and each has a picnic table. Pool area is in the front where the front check in desk is. If you are parked in the back area, be prepared for a long walk to get there. Wifi, is decent but not for downloading and streaming movies one caveat is in the the RV park is directly under the path of airplanes taking off or landing in the Jacksonville airport. It can get a bit noisy but it is interesting watching them fly directly above you s low you can see the landing wheels. One plane actually flew so low we could see the plane number.

I stayed a week here and it is a nice park. Right off the freeway and easy to get in and out of. There were several food trucks that came that were delicious. I didn't use the facilities but they looked nice. Check in was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. It is in the flight path of a busy airport so take note. It never bothered me but I'm a deep sleeper. The dog park is nice and the pullthrough spots are very large. I'm giving 4 stars because the price was a bit high and the wifi sucks. They have an option to pay for better wifi but I didn't check the price because I think for $60 a night in a place with lots of air traffic strong wifi should be included. Overall I had a great experience here and everyone I spoke to (guests and staff) were very friendly.

Pecan park is an Awesome Rv Resort conveniently located right off of I95 north of Jacksonville. Some of the reviews will complain about the airplanes flying over but I love watching and listening to the planes fly over and take off and land! I really love watching the Naval jets taking off and landing and also flying in formation! When they take off or land you really know it. It's Awesome watching the men and women who protect our country do there job!❤ There is a Flea & Farmers market conveniently located next to the park also. It's just minutes from everything you would need for shopping or eating out. The Manager Kevin does a Great job taking care of the Resort and the Guests needs and we are only 30Mins from the Beach! ⛱

  • Crispy Critter

Nice looking place, but way over-priced. The place is next to the Jacksonville International Airport and the noise is a constant reminder. The staff is generally nice, however there is one woman who thinks her (you know what) doesn't stink. Day one with her attitude. Their customer service is lacking in that they act like any request is so very difficult. They also like to threaten additional fees for doing simple things. This place is far from a five-star hotel and the sooner they realize this fact, the better it will be for them. Sun RV Resorts should probably pay closer attention to this operation. I wouldn't mind the $960 per month fee, if they gave me a $300 per month discount for being in the landing path of runway 21!

Pecan Park RV Park is conventionally located off I-95, just north of Jacksonville & the International airport. It has numerous level, back in n pull through concrete sites offering full hookups (50/30/15 amp) service. There are paved roads with street lights, cable TV, WiFi, two pools, two laundries & LP gas for sale. There are a dozen tiny houses for rent, some with nice outdoor fireplaces. Kevin the park manager, Heidi n the entire staff try to make your stay enjoyable. You might find I-95 & the airport can be a little noisy at times. They offer monthly rates for those looking to stay a bit longer. It’s a great RV spot to stay overnight or longer.

  • Randy Howard

From the moment we pulled into the park the staff was very rude. We were lied to multiple times about the pool and why it was closed, we were told they had to add chemicals and it would be open the next day. It's still closed. The night security verbally and physically attacked a female, he is still employed with the park. Mosquitoes are overbearing and it's like a swamp in the back. The staff constantly rides around on golf carts and knit picks anything they possibly can. Way too expensive. I have traveled all across the USA and stayed in many parks and Pecan Park is by far the worst. Will NEVER be back or recommend it to anyone.

  • The IDP Sicario

We stayed for week in April on our way back north. It’s a pretty big RV park, especially if you are way in the back. The air traffic wasn’t as bad back there and yes the fighter jets are pretty cool. The actual sites are are nice and spacious. My only complaint is that the hot tube water was colder then the pool water. Again it was the beginning of April so the water temp fluctuated with the nightly temps. We complained and they gave us some nonsense about the heater running all night wasn’t good so they shut it off But the pool guy doesn’t come on the weekends so we were out of luck. I would go back but not early spring

  • xplore venture

I read the comment about this place being a big airport parking lot, have to agree. They definitely did not spare the concrete. We pulled our coach in and had the feeling that we were parking in a storage instead of an RV park. The facilities were taken care of and the staff, maintenance and management was very good. Figured for the price there was going to be more to it. All the construction workers and locals with noisy trucks and motorcycles will keep you up all night if the planes don't. Keep an open mind, don't expect too much and you'll have a good stay. The three stars is for the great management and staff.

  • Anon

Women’s restroom by the tennis court is locked most times because of the secondary lock. I spoke to staff twice about this issue within the week but there has been no resolve. You would think that if they’re charging over $2000 a month they can replace the lock, to both restrooms over here (which just opened), but no that is too much work. I know that women resort to using the men's restroom and the most these restrooms are cleaned are once a week. The other two restrooms by the laundry room need to be cleaned more because the floor was wet (by the entrance and sink), smelt like musk/urine, had bugs and mold.

  • Blake Langley

It was okay for one night passing through. Unless your going to the flea markets I do not recommend. It did however have a nice little pool and concrete pull throughs. Not recommended for long stays or family vacations. Good stay for passing through or the flea markets which I would absolutely recommend for that. Hope this helps. Also front desk was nice and polite and the park and amenities was clean. Looks like they had some outsiders that came to just fish but didn't seem to impose any negatives. Looks like a decent place to cast a line or two so if your a fisherman might want to bring your pole!

  • Casandra “CPolanco” Polanco

I was skeptical about this place due that people reviews are about the noise from airplanes. I stayed finally this weekend and it was the best experience we had so far, yes you hear airplane but not when your inside the RV and outside we always have music it didn't bother at all, do not miss the opportunity to a great experience for negative comments. This is a very awesome place to stay with your family. Super clean friendly and more, and don't forget to take a walk to the flea market, it took us 5 minutes to get to Walmart in our car and for our surprise there was an entire shopping center.

  • Janice Amaral

It was a very large RV Park. It was very clean we were able to get in and out of the camping site easy. I had problems hooking up one thing and the maintain man came and help me do it I just couldn't put it on tight enough. In the morning I called and asked for the help and he came back very friendly and took it off for me my hands weren't strong enough to unhook it. If you were going to stay a few days there are things there that you can do I saw a swimming pool a pack for the dogs that have little agility things with them to play over and run around and on the flyers that said other things.

  • Chris Zimmel

Booked this knowing it was right next to I95 for a quick on and off while passing through. We have stayed at other Sun RV Resorts previously and had a good idea on what to expect. Failed to zoom out to see it’s in the flight path for Jacksonville International Airport. Park seems very clean. Personally I’d stay for a night or two passing through but not longer term based solely on location. I agree with someone else’s comment about picking your site. The extra fee to “lock you site” seems like complete BS to me. Just set your price and let people pick where they want to be.

  • K Booker

What a beautiful place. They have a nice an clean Dog Park for big and small dogs. They also have two pools. The pools are same size. One in front and one in back of the park with an hot tub. But, the pool conditions was bad on my eyes after 10 minutes of swimming. My two daughters had the same problem. This was the pool in the back. I will tell the front desk ASAP. It took 3 or 4 hours before the crying stopped. The pool looked great and I did not smell heavy chlorine level so the acid level is way to high. I believe they should close until tested.

  • Randy Smith

Nice park, they want to charge ya for alot of different charges there. Loads of road noise and oh the airplanes noise most of the night. They do have small bass to catch and release, NO fire pits on the higher end sites so take one with you or there is a Walmart close if you need one. All in all easy to get into and get back on the interstate but watch for hidden costs they like to get you with. Park is clean, looks like a great Maintenance staff. Not sure I will stay there again,,,,, but give it a shot and tell us what you think.

  • Big Rig RVer Reviews

This is a good overnight park, just off the interstate and reasonably priced with PPA. Many sites are unlevel (thankfully ours was close enough that we could get level). As with most Sun parks, they offer decent amenities and very importantly, a place to unhook your toad. I know it’s Florida, but maintenance could stand to distribute some Over N Out to control the ants. The park is beside the airport, so be prepared for late night planes landing (last plane at 2 AM). We would definitely stay here again because of the convenience.

  • Livingsong

Loved the clean layout of this spacious RV resort that's located right off the highway. The standard parking spaces are as large as most premium spots we've seen in other parks! Unfortunately one draw back we noticed during our two night stay was the noise from the nearby airport. Otherwise the park is great, offering a pool, outside seating area overlooking a medium size pond, and a friendly staff that will offer complimentary ear plugs for the noise :) Laslty they honor Passport America membership discount!

  • Marilyn S

Why four stars and not five? The place is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. The park is clean, the rv spots are spacious. We enjoy the pool and spa. However, the booking system is too rigid. Any changes to the reservation is costly. We wanted to come two weeks earlier than we booked and we had to pay the weekly rate even though we had a two month booking. We asked about staying one week later in the same spot and again it would be at weekly rate. It would be nice if their booking system had some flexibility.

  • Bob Lewis

Only stayed one night on our trip back home. Traveling with a 31ft travel trailer. Drive-thru Site was level, wifi & cable good. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable & quick with check-in. The last one we really appreciated since the sky was dark and starting to thunder. Staff recognized and rushed to get us out the door to our site. Mission accomplished because we finished setup and entered our trailer with the first rain dropso of huge downpour. I would stay here again and will recommend to our group!

  • M & S MacDonald

Our 2nd time staying at Pecan Park was excellent. We had a great concrete pull thru spot on the side next to their lake. The neighbors were quiet and there were no problems. Yes the airplanes fly overhead but we were used to it from our first stay. There is a pool, dog area, and even food trucks came. The city has everything else you would need to enjoy your stay. The flea market next door was just a short walk to pass some time. The grounds were kept clean. We’d definitely return if they’d have us!

  • Rebecca Acquistapace

One of the best rv parks in all of my travels. It is so clean and well maintained. All of the staff are friendly. The laundry rooms are wonderful. They have 2. One in the back of the park and one in the front. The airport is right behind the park so you do hear airplanes fly over while outside. It really never bothered us. It is so convenient in location. It is right off the interstate and 2 miles down the interstate and all kinds of shopping. I just love this rv park. I highly recommend them.

  • Terran Leigh Butler

From the minute I walked in the staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and friendly. The park is nicely manicured. Clubhouse is great with amazing showers and bathrooms that are cleaned 4 times a day. The pool is beautiful along with a gorgeous catch and release lake. Everyone is super friendly. I have two school age kids and they love love it here. I’m SO GLAD We chose this place over Flamingo Lake. There’s no other place I’d rather be while I build /buy my forever home.

  • Kelly Weaver

We stayed for two nights with a 31 foot fifth wheel in spot 23. The spaces are spacious, clean, and easily navigable. The entire RV resort is spotless and well-kept. The shower facility was immaculate. The pool was super nice and inviting. The resort is also very convenient to Highway I95, restaurants, shopping, and beaches. The staff were all very helpful, professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. Moderately affordable but worth the money. Highly recommend!

  • Jennifer Kirby

Nice park with concrete spots long enough for a 45’ and a toad. Airplanes overhead aren’t too bad but the jets (the first time) will startle you! Unfortunately we left our chairs out (like most people do) and someone decided to steal them. We were parked on the main road and this was done in the early afternoon in full view. And there are no cameras anywhere to identify who may have done it. So word to the wise, don’t leave anything outside.

  • Patrick OBrian

The sites are all concrete, well maintained, and level. The site we used was a pull through site. That's nice to. The problem with the place is the air traffic flying fairly low overhead. It starts at an early hour and goes on throughout the day. There are no flights from around 10PM to 6AM approximately, so you will be able to sleep. One other thing to be aware of - it's not inexpensive. We probably wouldn't stay again.

  • Adam Culp

We recently stayed here for 3 weeks in our travel trailer. It is one of the nicer parks we have stayed in. The amenities and site was great. Everything is clean and well-maintained. There are concrete pads to park on instead of being a field where RVs are packed in like a parking lot. (we have stayed at some of those) The prices were reasonable. Overall we had a great time and were pleased in our accommodations.

  • Sharon Whalen

This place was a convenient place for us for what we needed to do in Jacksonville. The place has no trees so if your looking for rustic this isn't the place for you. Office staff was nice but they don't have an attendant to bring you to your spot. All spots are roomy and on pads so that was nice. The bad thing is your on the approach for the airport and you hear planes flying overhead very low day and night.

  • William McGullam

We reserved a spot for a one night stay while on our way to a family reunion in Florida.... unfortunately we broke an axle on our trailer in Georgia and couldn't keep our reservation for the night.... they were very understanding an gave a full refund back to our credit card! Now that's what I call GREAT customer service.... we will be sure to visit them on our next trip to Florida!

  • Richard Rivera

The staff were friendly and courteous. The facility and grounds well maintained. Restroom were immaculate for an RV park. This location is easy on/off I-95 and close to Love's fuel center. Right next door is a Flea and Farmer's Market. The road in front of the park is under construction, so I recommend slowing down so that you don't miss the entrance. Highly recommend staying here.

  • Jeanette Manning

Well-maintained park with a friendly staff and plenty of activities. We stayed there two weeks and then a couple more days because of hurricane Idalia. You can hear the planes overhead but they did not bother us much. Two nice pools and a workout room and laundry mat. The only downsize are the geese but the park cannot control the geese because Florida state law protects them.

  • Grant Russell

Meh. Stopping by for one night on the way to our destination. We stayed on site 8, which is on the main drag of the campground. LOTS of speeders not paying attention. The office staff were very nice, and the campground was very clean and well maintained. Lots of 5th wheels and Class A's. Glorified parking lot IMO...just not our style for little kids wanting to ride bikes.

  • D&J Carr

Great park. Very large with great amenities. Oi am going to have to lower my rating as we realized that we paid extra for a spot reserved with a water view and we are not in that spot. Additionally we have left a message with reservations and no call back. No one answered the phone in the office this morning as well. We will keep trying to get some of our money back.

  • Max Chester

$86!!!!!! For one night. NEVER AGAIN. There was a very loud humming noise all night long. I don’t know if someone was running their generator or it was an airplane at the airport but I hardly got any sleep. It’s basically an RV parking lot right next to the airport and down the street from a Love’s Truck Stop. It’s no resort. It’s a dump with a lot of noise.

  • Bobby Puryear

If I just change my mind, I understand losing a deposit. But when my trip is canceled due to a hurricane, I think it is very poor business to not offer at least a partial refund. I have stayed at Sun Resorts before but no more. I had to cancel a reservation due to Covid last year and that Sun resort was great to work with. But they will not get me again.

Nice, large concrete pull-through plots. They just received new wood picnic tables. Pleasant staff and maintenance crew. A tad expensive laundry @ $2 wash and $2 dry- with very small load capacity. Airplane noise but we're right next to the airport. Monthly rates dropped a considerable amount for Spring/Summer. Overall, a recommended place to stay.

  • burt comstock

We really like this park as our winter home. Friendly and helpful staff are great. Very clean and manicured. Beautiful landscaping and they are making even more improvements. Looking forward to winter. Shopping is very convenient and it's so easy to get around Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Can't say enough good about our experience here.

  • Jackie Killian

Very well maintained park with friendly staff. It was easy to get our large 5th wheel in and out. The only complaints were that it was a tad bit noisy with the airplanes overhead and road noise from the freeway nearby. However, we were only stopping through for one night so we purposely chose it for the location with easy access to the freeway.

  • steve hicks

It's a nice looking place and might be a nice place to stay but we were quoted $1,779.00 *per month* for January and February. That's $3,558.00 for two months, on a RV park That's not 1 mile from the Disney World Gates, or sitting in the beach. So that's over double the going rate of ALL the other RV Parks around Jacksonville we drove to today.

  • Lara Thompson

We stayed here over memorial weekend.. we had spot in the back part of the park. The kids LOVED the pool/ park. The people there were soo friendly. My only suggestion, is to put a dumpster in that back part. I was extremely surprised there wasnt anything back there. Was kind of a hassle, carrying 4 bags of BBQ trash to the other side.

  • Andria Reymore

We enjoy this park and the staff is great. They go out of their way to make us comfortable. Everything is immaculately clean, the location is safe and convenient, WiFi works throughout the park, the sites are immaculate. The only thing that could make it better is shade. There is some airport noise, but that doesn’t bother us. …

  • Michael Gumz

We stayed in one of the 6 tiny houses on the property and we couldn't have been more satisfied. This placeis cheaper than most hotels and was absolutely beautiful. The house was just perfect. It was super clean, super comfortable. There is an outside fire pit. The staff was very friendly. I just wish it was closer to where we lived..

  • Amy Henry

We’ve been at Pecan Park for 2 months. This resort is very clean! The amenities are plentiful, food trucks and activities posted each week. Sites are large. The staff is amazing, attentive and on top of any issues that arise! Yes, planes are overhead and are sometimes loud but not a bother to us. Will definitely stay next year!

  • Scott Nichols

We stayed for 2 nights over a holiday weekend. The site was very well kept. They gave us great customer service when we checked in & all throughout our stay. They are close to the airport so expect some ancillary plane noise. We were out & about during the day so it didn't bother us. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Amanda Houser

Manager very respectfully handled a situation for us personally when we had an opportunity to move onto the local Navy Base to make our lives more convenient. After residing there for 7 months, we were gracious and appreciative of his efforts. The resort was clean, great amenities for kids and always felt safe to us.

  • . Vannoy

Ease of getting in and out are fabulous. The spaces & grounds are very nicely maintained. Though it was a bit noisy from the I-95 freeway & planes taking off from JAX airport at 6:00 am…. It served a great location to park the Coach while we visited our kids in JAX Beach. We felt secure leaving our Coach unattended.

  • Rosa Siemens

We stayed a month at Pecan RV Park and have no complaints. The bathrooms, showers, the pool area and all the common areas were very clean. This is a gem and if I decide to move to Jacksonville area, I would definitely stay with them while I wait for a house. Loved this place, a true RV resort! ❤ …

  • jessica mcmillan

We spent the last 8 months here and loved it!!! Beautiful park, large cement lots with grass, 2 pools and a hot tub. 2 laundry locations, bathrooms were very clean. People were friendly and the office staff was great! Thank you Pecan Park, we will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

  • Terry L.

Friendly staff, took time to explain policies. They continue to improve the property and are in the process of adding a bunch more spaces in addition to more amenities. Long walk to laundry/bath house if you are in the back (whew). They say they're adding another one back there with the expansion.

  • Danielle Hallihan

Very nice place, no complaints other than the amount of wind that comes through here is a bit much. If you have any outside patio furniture or even a grill, be careful if has a very good chance of flying away. It moves your trailer back and forth too and will absolutely destroy your awning.

  • Bettina Wordlaw

Stopped here while traveling I95, called on a whim and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Had a pleasant experience here, very clean and easy to get to park. Only stayed one night and didn't use the facilities but all the sites were kept up. Highly recommended

  • Dawn

WE HAVE BEEN HERE A MONTH!! WONDERFUL CAMPGROUNDS, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN PLACE!! FROM THE GROUND KEEPS, HOUSEKEEPERS, ALL THE STAFF ARE GGRREEAATT!! ACTIVITIES ALWAYS!! LOVE THIS PLACE!! THANK YOU PECAN PARK RV CAMPGROUNDS JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA!!! DAWN LADLEE SITE 311 !!!

  • JR Cov

Nice outing with family. No rec area for kids, not many amenities, a if you love to hear the roar of jet engines as they fly over constantly, then this is a must stay for you. The jets remind me of my Navy days aboard a aircraft carrier doing flight ops 24/7.

  • Elaine Roberts

As you can see I visited. Inside dog fences you have blankets waded up inside fence that make that lot trashy. You have uncut grass everywhere you look. You have dead plants sitting around this used to be a five star resort it definitely is not anymore

  • Jim Cox II

Location off drive is good. Staff very courteous. All concrete is cracked. Airplanes loud overhead, planes taking off not in brochure. Has great potential, perhaps in transition. however, any age and state of rv is allowed. New buildings and pool nice.

  • Why So Serious?

Staff was very helpful and friendly.. Bathrooms were immaculate.. Sites were level with concrete slabs (I love that) I was able to create a wifi hotspot (love that too). We will definitely come back to this jewel when we are in the area again. S 302

  • Country Coach Guy

We liked the location, and planes overhead didn't bother us. Monthly rates are fair considering the pools, workout room, and laundromat. Decent wifi, too. Liked the newsletter and board postings near entrance with all the fun activities offered.

  • kathy loeffler

Returned for a second visit, disappointed with the maintenance of the facility. Pool deck was dirty used bandaids, food, and kleenex littered pool deck. Also, the park seems to have a problem with pet owners picking up after pets we had 3

  • Festiva Support

Just spent the night, and the weather was really bad, so I can fully review it. The place is clean and well maintained, clean bathrooms, dog friendly, and RV sites amenities are available on site. This site is modern and very, very quiet

  • HEIDI BARNES

We have been here for three weeks. Love it. Very pet friendly. Wish they had a little store at the office but you aren’t far from other stores. There is a dog run at the front of the park but they need one in the middle and back too.

  • Demaris Ford

Large full service RV Park. Friendly people and lots of activities planned. It is very near Jacksonville International Airport as well as a military base. Lots of low flying aircraft during the day, but surprisingly quiet at night.

  • Trenton Hall

Loud place to live, Jets flying over head and the prices change to much. Good location to stay out of the hustle of the busy sides of town. Friendly staff, decent fishing. Needs just a little more to be a perfect get away spot.

  • Gregory Crawforth

Was invited recently celebrating with my Coach and Power Soccer teammates. It was an opportunity for us to relax and get to know everyone better. We had access to the clubhouse for the afternoon and had a wonderful time.

  • Dan Britt

Well laid out park. Well spaced, paved lots. Particularly liked the shrubs adjacent to the hookups. As a result, you are not greeted with a view of your neighbor's sewer line as you step out your front door. Nice touch.

  • Joshua Anders

Comfortable and safe park. Very clean. Staff members are responsive and courteous. We actually had fun watching the passenger and military planes. Easy access to Jacksonville and South Georgia. Highly recommended!

  • Troy Adams

Friendly give you the shirt off there back personel working at the resort. Quiet get away from the busy city highly recommended spot with a good eatery food truck that comes regularly to Dee Queezys good wings

  • Gaby Bacon

Nice, clean, friendly front desk. But honestly only recommend for one night of rest. Next to airport, they offer ear plugs at front desk. It's more like a safe parking lot with utilities. About $60 a night.

  • Stephen Adams

1 week stay, very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly. I95 Traffic sound was not an issue for us, air traffic no issues as well, did get the chance.to view a few fighter jets taking off, nice!

  • Paul Duty

Very well kept park with spacious sites and nice amenities. Not very much shade. Park is right under the approach path to runway 26 at Jacksonville Airport which can make a little excess noise.

  • Aleisha Brumbley

Friendly people, everything is clean, and it is a pleasant environment. The Wifi is more consistent than many other places. Pool, clubhouse, laundry, catch & release pond, and good location.

  • Erick Melcher

Great place stay while in Jacksonville. Their are plenty of restaurants and store close. The staff is great especially Bill, very helpful. Pool is clean and grounds are well maintained.

  • Studio World JZ

My wife and I have been here for awhile now and we love it! The staff is great, helpful and friendly. The dog park has just been remodeled and it is amazing much more space for dogs

  • John Dedell

This is our second stay here as we pass through the area. Nice paved sites with plenty of room. Pet friendly with walking areas and dog park. Wifi is good and have cable tv.

  • Tina Olson

Wonderful weekend even with all the rain. Gave us a beautiful double rainbow to enjoy. Indoor flea market gave us something to do till we could go to the beach.

  • Melissa Vessell

Very nice clean park. Staff friendly and accommodating. The only issue is the flight path, but if you enjoy watching planes fly over, this is the place for you.

  • Kaja SWIEB

Nice place, clean facility, plenty of activities..close to the airport and noise from the plains, but overall a great place. Friendly and helpful stuff.

  • Malik Ricks

This place was great. They had amenities to keep the kids entertained, clean facilities, nice staff, and tons of activities. I would go here again.

  • Chaplain Brown

My family enjoyed ourselves. It's a very nice Flea Market with options for everyone. There's a Tiki bar where we fed an alligator named Bubba.

  • maja m

Really nice place with a pool, dog park and great parking spots (all concrete)! Great customer service as well, highly recommended

  • Gary Kaemmerer

Neat, clean and pleasant place with access to very nice shopping area with just about any store you've ever seen a few miles away.

  • Ric Stanley

We just passed through for 1 night, wife and 2 kids. Next time I’m staying at flamingo rv park a few more miles north on I-95

  • William Drake

Place is nicely laid out. Drive through spots are concrete and roads are paved. Lots are pretty level. Nice pool and showers.

  • Ron Forbus

Clean and nicely spaced RV spots. Lots of amenities including propane fill up service, mail and resort activities each day.

  • LorrieJane Steward

Very clean.. Everything is new... Only problem is the over abundant of mosquitoes! Not sure if that's the normal down here?

  • Gary Fleet

Very nice all around campground. Our first night out of Palm Harbor, Fl on our way to NY to see realatives and friends.

  • Dana Laws

Although we didn’t stay due to no vacant spots, looked like a nice clean place and people were very nice and friendly!!

  • Jason Johnson

Excellent experience. Very clean. Excellent staff. Zero shade but the experience made up for the lack of shade....lol!

  • XxivanxkaixX

A great place to stay long or short term. The staff is so helpful and responsive. Even the wild life loves it here.

  • Kimberly Mygrant

This place is so Peaceful and very well taking care of. Definitely will be back. Enjoyed our 3 days.

  • Robert Hanson

I needed a place to shower and do laundry and give my generator a rest. And find a place long term.

  • John G

Very clean, everything looks new. Nice fenced in dog park. Just off of I-95 so it very convenient.
