We went into the shop to look at Ring doorbells. As soon as we started to browse the display, a member of staff approached and asked if we needed help. He answered some questions for us and recommended the best one. He informed us it was 59.99. We asked if it required drilling; he said it used a sticky backing and no drilling was required. We asked if you needed to get a Ring subscription in order to save videos; he said it came with free monthly storage that would reset each month and the subscription was for if you wanted to store videos for longer than a month. We decided to go for it. Once we had sat down and started giving our details, he informed us that he had got it wrong and it was actually £100. We chose to still buy it. It was only when we got home that we discovered it DID require drilling to mount it and the sticky, no-drill mount was something you had to buy separately. We also found out that the free monthly storage was a complete fiction and no such thing exists. If you want to view any video recordings at all you have to get the subscription. If we had known all this at the time we probably would've shopped around a bit more and I feel like we had been completely lied to in order to make a sale.

If you want to stand around and wait 30 minutes to talk to someone, then another 15 for them to check the stock. Then another 20 for them to order stock (they hardly ever have stock in store) to arrive in store in 3-5 days, not to your home as this will take longer and they can't give you an exact date. Another 15 minutes to take your details. Then have the inevitable 10 minute waffling hot aired nonsense about extended warranties after telling them repeatedly that they're not worth the toilet paper they're written on. Only then to be told after 3-5 days that the order is delayed and will be another 7-10 days at least (they have no idea really). Then this is the place for you. Otherwise just go online and complete all this in under 3 minutes and get the item delivered next day to your address of choice.

If you have a problem with a purchase, they are the worst Company we have had the misfortune to deal with. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and trying to get through on the phone is impossible. No store has a direct phone number and you have to go to the store to get anything sorted. Well, of a nature! We have had an ongoing problem with a Kenwood dishwasher, which has been replaced once and we are now awaiting delivery of a third machine. We have upgraded to a Bosch. We have been without a dishwasher now for 6 weeks, yes 6 weeks and although Currys have given us compensation for the machines, which damaged our decorative door to the machine and adjoining unit, we are still awaiting a new machine and voucher for the upgrade. Think very seriously about using Currys or Kenwood.

The worst possible customer service. Sold a faulty phone by them, arranged for it to be collected but no one turned up despite saying they had and had been told it was already collected! Took it back to store but apparently they can't refund me, have to go back home and wait for them to come and collect it from me even though I've just given it back to them! There's a reason they get such poor reviews, if you don't have an issue their prices are competitive but good luck if you have a problem! Just to add on, after 7 days of getting nowhere, I did find one of the customer service team who sorted everything within minutes over the phone and arranged refund and a small payment for my inconvenience. They were excellent, just frustrating it took so long to speak to someone who actually helped.

We went to Curry’s on Sunday 30 April in Speke for a new washing machine and Jimmy was fantastic! Went through everything with us (that we thought we knew-we didn’t) and was totally honest with us. We learned a few things- and my husband was even shocked and that’s saying something! The young guy that worked for Samsung ( we didn’t get his name unfortunately) was fabulous too! Had a right laugh going through the £2000 fridge that almost cooks the dinner for you! Wish it would! There was also a lovely young lady who was helpful as well and she joined us the fridge! Wish I’d got her name as well. All in all Currys Speke- well done for excellent customer service and satisfaction and I hope your employers see my comments. Will not hesitate to go back. X

Ordered a washing machine for my son on 20.12. 2022. He lives in a 2nd floor appartment with 2 flights of stairs. We paid cash and an extra £20 for delivery and £20 to take the old one away. The delivery came on time but they refused to take the machine up the stairs. They said we should have been told that they are only allowed to deliver up one flight of stairs and there is no extra charge for delivery or to take the old item away. Why did Curry's charge us for a service that doesn't exist. We wont be buying anything else from Curry's from now on. They are making an extra £40 on top of the charge for the items they are selling. The delivery firm dont get it. Disgusting service......

We recently purchased a Logik tilt and swivel TV mount along with an LG 28" TV from Curries at New Mersey retail park. This looks and feels like a quality product but it's let down by confusing and pointless assembly instructions that would be more suitable to the Oxford University entrance exam.Despite the diagrams, d'on't bother looking where the extending arms go,they arn't needed, don't bother looking where all the screws,spacers and washers go,most of those arn't needed either. On returning to Curries we were fortunate to find Jack who had the technical know how and excellent customer service to help us put it all together. Please Logik simplify your instructions.

Love to visit and have a look in this store for tech items. The store is filled with products for all around the house. The store is located in speke speke retail park so there is plenty of parking available. There are also disabled parking spots available at the front of the store. There are samples of the products on display so you can see the product before you buy. There are staff around the store who are willing to help if you need it, but I would advice you take someone who knows about the technology so they don't sell you unnecessary items. Some can be a little pricey but sometimes they has great deals on, so keep an eye out if you are after a certain item.

Bought free standing fridgefreezer and free standing single freezer. Tracy was very helpful, looking for same colour in different models, we struggled because fridge freezer we wanted only came in silver, we wanted a small chest freezer as well but choice was either white or black. Eventually settled on another tall slim freezer in silver. We liked the fridge element of the Samsung model because the middle shelf drops away allowing you to stand extra things up in the fridge without having to rearrange all the shelves. Very handy when you are having a party and need extra height for open wine bottles etc...

Lets be honest, if we go into a store like this for electronics we are going for the customer service. We want to be assured we are buying the right product or want to make sure we will be able to operate it properly. Unfortunately my last few visits to this store have not been useful or helpful, the "team knowhow" are glorified paid Googlers. I have had a great experience with the carphone warehouse within this store earlier this year this is why my review is not a 1 star.

Wanted an electric cooker that was a black Friday offer, the staff member said it was out of stock even though there was one on display. I was told to come back after the first of December when I could order one then, but she couldn't guarantee that it would be the Black Friday price. The staff member was perfectly pleasant, but I feel could have been a little bit more helpful by maybe letting us preorder one at the Black Friday price. Anyway we went elsewhere.

Shocking . No staff. I walked out without buying the tablet I had chosen. I saw one member of staff on the floor who told me to wait by the tablet and someone would assist me. Still waiting!!!!! Whilst I was there…. Waiting ….. another customer was also wanting to purchase a tablet and another customer wanted help who had come back as he had experienced the same lack of service the previous day . Don’t waste a journey to this site.

Unable to speak to a manager online, there's no where to put on online review, I have a warranty issue and curry's agents are honestly so rude, I asked for a same day exchange as I need the item to do my work, I asked for a manger as the ocnversation was going around in circles with no real answer and they put the phone down on me. The agent on the chat lied to me in the first place so I called and this happened.

Bought a new pc paid for set up and data transfer.....sadly .. the driver for keyboard wasn't working so they removed Microsoft to fix it causing other issues ......after 5 visits they fixed it .. but watch the guy working on you pc or laptop can be called away to bring a vacuum cleaner to the desk or sell other white goods . So the PC sits there . But in the end I was happy that they did fix mistakes

The service we were given by Ho Kei Harris was absolutely outstanding! Although his badge read “in training” his customer service skills said otherwise. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product I wanted and gave me great advice that I really appreciated. He was so friendly and easy to talk to; talking to him really made my day. Thank you!

I was helped in store today by Laura, who is new to the job but so helpful, I was looking at laptops and she was great at suggesting recommendations as well as listening to what it was I was after. Good shop for taking your money for expensive items. Terrible shop for getting help with a £3000 TV less than 3 years old that breaks. Disgusting. My parents have been passed from pillar to post and are really stressed out. I can't believe a company this large has such shocking customer service.

Bought a gas cooker. Salespeople were fine, knowledgeable and helpful. Told cooker wouldn't be coming for a month. That's OK then I get a text saying the cooker wasn't coming for another month after that. Went back and complained, no apologies but cooker was delivered and fitted one week later.

Staff at the shop are great. But be careful for the delivery, they won't deliver more than 4 steps >>> they said. Delivery staff left our washing machine on the ground floor and asked us to sign to accept or return (shouting)...no compromise at all.

Had an issue with water leak after washing machine fitted. 2 guys came to assess, they had a bad attitude & unhelpful but the customer services guy was excellent and helped put it right. Still need to get damaged kitchen board replaced though.

Never get the support you need, there are plenty of advisors in the shop but always finding something else to do instead of helping. Also there is rarely any stock in the shop, the advice is to go and order it online.
