As I believe in giving kudos when it is earned, I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to The Shoe Company/Town Shoes/DSW for the best customer service I have EVER received To anyone looking to purchase good quality shoes for a competitive price, I highly recommend this company. My story: I purchased a pair of Uggs online for 50% off, so $98 instead of $196. Unfortunately, when they arrived (super fast & free shipping, btw), they were too small. As they were on clearance, they had already been removed from the website and the store was unable to ship a new pair to me frown emoticon:( However, upon calling their Head Office, they were more than happy to ship a replacement pair from Milton to Ancaster for me. And I didn't even have to use my stern voice! So I picked them up today, and ends up that they went on further clearance! In the end, I received a pair of Uggs for $60 + tax smile emoticon:) I'm absolutely thrilled!

Huge selection of name brand shoes. Bought my puma's here for a great price. Never felt crowded when shopping and always a pleasant experience even if I cant find something - but to be fair I am one of the most picky people around and judge shoes very harshly so its hard to find ones i like. Prices on shoes that aren't in the discount area are well priced, usually matching or only a few dollars off from competitors. I went to 20 shoe stores before buying my shoes here, and paid a lot less. I was supposed to buy winter boots which they had soooo many of but walked out with sneakers oops.

My sister found a nice pair of shoes for a good price. The store is huge though, and lacking signage, so sections are hard to find. Also, this place is not REMOTELY sensory friendly for autistic people. The artificial light is hard on the eyes and the music today was loud and overwhelming. While my sister shopped I had to stand there, with the eyes shut and my noise canceling headphones on, waiting for her to be done. Afterwards I went shopping at Miller's (a wonderfully quiet and naturally lit store) because DSW was so overwhelming. I, personally, will not be back.

This DSW is conveniently located in a plaza with a Marshall's/Homesense so you can grab an outfit/home decor to match those shoes you just impulse bought. Every time I've been inside, the staff have been friendly but not overbearing, and are helpful when needed. There's a wide variety of shoes there, and usually when you go in-store, the prices are the same as their online store. My only complaint is that many times that I've been there, there are lots of empty shelves, but that could just be due to high demand of certain shoes.

These guys are amazing! I had a return I made in 1st of February 2022: I held the items longer than 60 days but because I was down with covid for a month, I brought a paper from the hospital from the doctor and these guys just returned all my items and they're just amazing!! Thank you so much to whole the team and the management!! I don't know what you do there to support cheered up spirit of your team but it's apparently works :) keep it up keep and keep up the good work Cheers Alex

Love it. Hit or miss for shoes and sizes. Great prices. Huge selections. Babies, toddlers, kids and adults. Dressy and casual. Literally everything. Even socks laces and any sort of accessory you need to put on your feet. They didn't have my size in the colour I wanted a few trips back. They ordered them for me. Free shipping and arrived on my front porch in a could days. Fantastic!!

Some of the shoes there are really great, I bought my favourite running shoes there for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately I wasn't so lucky with my winter boots, I bought them last year and I already have to replace them because the lining came out and they no longer keep my feet warm. I think it would be a good idea to check out the brands before purchasing any shoes

It is overpriced considering that all the shoe boxes are out in the open and the staff do not even need to retrieve them from a back room. None of those cost savings are passed to the customer. I ended up paying $22 more for a shoe at DSW than that of the same shoe that I later found online when I got home. Even on Black Friday they offered no discount or deal whatsoever.

Yesterday we went to DSW Ancaster to purchase two pairs of shoes for my son. This store is very clean, very easy to navigate your way around and find sizes. So much shoe choices! We were greeted by Nadia at cash and I just had to leave a review because she showed us excellent customer service. She was so helpful, kind and funny! Would recommend this location to others

Hi there, I visited this place 2 year back and since then I am visiting whenever I want to buy shoes for me or my family. It's a clean place. Display of shoes is simple. Will find latest design and also discounted shoes is placed at very back of the store. Sitting bench are there in case you want to try the shoes. Over all experience was good.

When I initially entered the store I was disappointed simply because I found 3 staffs standing at the cash area and chatting no one said "hi" but then i meet a lady who assisted me, she was amaazzing!!!! running around in that huge store assisting me by looking up the size and coming up with different solution when my size was not available.

Got a pair of Merrell Yokota 2s, they are great for hiking. It was easy to try on different sets and sizes of different boots and shoes; I'd recommend DSW to anyone who has an idea of what they want but is not 100% sure on exactly what to get. There are SO many different options at DSW. Got me a set of socks while I was there too.

There are other shoe stores in Hamilton. Go to them. This location was chosen very badly. The parking lot has only one access point for a mall with 4 stores the one side and many more on the other. On my last visit I was in a line for more than an hour attempting to exit. Save yourself from the bad planning of others and avoid.

I had to make 2 returns today that were purchased online while shops were closed due to COVID. The nice young lady was very friendly and efficient. I was in and out in less than 7 minutes. I will definitely return to this store to make future purchases.

End of day shopping with disorganized showroom. It was hard to find what we were looking for. However, there is a good selection of footwear to choose from. 4 stars because no one answered the phone, and the disarray. The staff were friendly.

Poor customer service. I attempted to call the store 7 times over the course of 2 hours and it just continued to ring… I’m sure the front desk wasn’t that busy on a Friday morning that they couldn’t at least answer and put me on hold.

The prices did not seem substantially lower than what you would find in the respective retailers and the quantity was quite limited especially on the more popular shoes. Displays were clean and well organized

It is a great store with awesome choices for shoes. Their clearance stock is too good and reasonable. I got a pair of sneakers just for $16.
