I'm so impressed with this store. I made the drive from London after calling them to find out if they carried the size that I need. Because I wear an Ankle-Foot Orthotic/Brace I needed an exceptionally wide shoe. Prior to coming here I had resigned myself to the fact that I might have to buy an ugly shoe, just to make it work. Although the store was extremely busy on Saturday, the salesperson I worked with took the time to find what I needed. Not only did it work - it actually looked good too. Shoe shopping is a daunting task and I usually end up doing all the work - but not here. The staff know what they're doing. They know what shoes and sizes will work for hard to fit feet. Thank you so much - I will be back!

At noon we visited with my grandmother. Staff lady only talked to my mom and I at first, didn’t even talk to my grandma even though she was the customer. (Ageist?) She wouldn’t let her see very many options at all - didn’t want to entertain the idea of a wide shoe- only showed deep and wide shoe due to edema and said sorry any other shoe will wreck your bandages… my grandma didn’t have any bandages on her feet, only stockings. Woman said she needed to be the “reality police” for us and said there was no other option in the store or any other store. Just a bit of a condescending demeanour.

It's been a while since I was able to buy dress shoes...... or any shoe in my size AA9 or AA9.5. I live near Stratford and all the stores I have access to do NOT carry my width. So I traveled to downtown Hamilton to Millers. I was pleased and surprised to get a great fit and also to discover that many times in the past I was not fitted as well as I should have been. I am a AAAA (Quad) didn't know that but it is a much bettter fit than the AA . Also my sales person was very patient and helped find 3 great pairs of dress shoes!!! Thanks Millers Shoes!!!! I will be back!

Helpful staff, decent selection of shoes in my hard to fit, narrow sizes. Since Harry Young closed in Toronto I had no go to shoe store. I shopped @ their mountain store for 7 yrs & just today their James St N location, downtown. Limited space but knowledgeable staff & good selection of merchandise. Robert Zur glove leather shoes & boots r new to me. Classic styles in vibrant hues that define comfort as well as a good variety of Munro choices. My patient/pleasant salesperson was Natalie. Best kept detour for a rainy fall afternoon.

Miller's shoes saved the day. Twice! My extra wide feet, with bunions, have become very hard to fit, and I'd resigned myself to wearing something practical and ugly. But after discovering Miller's I was able to walk out with something stylish, elegant and comfortable. Recently visited with my sister (and her wide feet) and we each found a pair of gorgeous sandals to wear to a wedding. The lovely man who help was relentless in helping us find the perfect shoes - and he nailed it. We ended up dancing (comfortably) all night.

I've always had difficulties finding shoes that fit me properly, because I'm a 4 1/2 wide and Miller's is one of the only shoe store that I can actually find shoes. I was designing a house close by today and decided to stop in on my way home. I live quite a distance but worth the drive to this store. I was ecstatic with the service that Daniel fourth generation sales person had provided me today. I not only found what I was looking for but I lucked out buying three pairs. Thanks you Daniel for making me very happy today.

Stellar customer service. Always feel that you are getting a full experience by a team who is passionate about their products and making sure you leave with a pair of quality shoes that will last. It's a nice break from a mall shoe store, where the service is hampered by low wages and lack of interest. The only thing to improve is the tone of voice/professionalism on the phone - but most customers understand that some team members are older and more brisk.

My experience here was ok. The service was excellent and the shoes were exactly what I was looking for, but felt pressured and when I expressed that there was a large discrepancy between their pricing and their online competitors for the pair I was interested in, the salesperson got very cold and left me alone without returning. I was interested in other items as well, but ended up just leaving since I didn't really feel welcome afterwards.

I had a great experience shopping for shoes at Miller Shoes as I have a wide foot that the average shoe store will not carry the size I need. I had been on a very frustrating shopping excursion until I came to Miller Shoes I was immediately greeted by Dave who was very helpful. He brought out different sizes for me to try as well as options that he thought I may like. Thank you for the help, I will be back in future to shop for shoes!

Exactly what I ordered - twice! No disappointing surprises. Narrow width, attractive style, reputable brand and a most pleasant owner. Millers' is an example of a dying breed, so those of us who have narrow feet and a desire for good shoes would be well advised to patronize this store or it will go the way of Harry Young and Arthur Beren in San Francisco. Mercifully, Montreal still lives regarding this issue, but for how long?

I have never written a review on a business until today. I had the best shopping experience ever! The gentleman helping me went above and beyond customer service, I would describe it as a celebrity spoiling. from assessing my feet, selecting shoes for me and showing me shoes I would never have thought of trying on, it was a great experience. This is definitely the only shoe store I will be shopping in from now on.

This store had really nice quality shoes! The staff are really well informed and really know how to explain the best way to wear and take care of their products. My only issue is that the shoes don't feel like they are keeping up close enough with the crurent weekend styles that are within the age range of 25-40. I really would love to give 5 starts but I want more options on the current tends for women!

My mother is 83 years old and very picky with shoes. As a result, she had worn the same shoes for years - that had cracked soles and we're very uncomfortable. My sister took my mom in to Miller's to fit my mom up with very comfortable black and tan shoes and a pair of red sandals. She is ecstatic! As always with Miller's, perfect fit I'm very comfortable. I am very happy and thank you very much.

These folks laid hands on exactly what I needed to take care of my father's shoe needs. They were professional, but astoundingly kind to my elderly father. They were direct and prompt and helpful. I would happily and quickly recommend this store to anyone who asked. I left the store feeling like a million bucks and it was entirely due to the great people who helped me at Miller's Shoes.

I've been coming here for years now and I'm always happy with my shoes and my shoe-related accessories. This place is a well-oiled machine with lots of Hamilton history. Do they have the friendliest of staff who know what they're talking about? Heck yes. I recommend Miller Shoes to everyone I know, especially for big and little feet. Michelle is the shoe goddess of Miller Shoes. She sizes your foot perfectly, wide or narrow. I got 2 pairs today and walked out wearing one. Never before have I done that. That's how comfortable they are! Make the drive downtown, wait in line for Michelle and get ready to love shoe shopping again. Miller's Shoe Store is the place to go for any of your shoe needs! My elderly mother needed special shoes to make walking more comfortable for her. Daniel was very helpful and knowledgeable about the shoes and styles that would fit my very narrow feet. I have never been to a shoe store in Ontario that has such was a wide variety of narrow and very stylish shoes that I could choose from. I bought three pair and my husband also bought a pair. We were very impressed and though we are from Ottawa, we will be back!

Love this place! The staff are kind and super friendly and that alone makes this place worth visiting. But the shoes! I struggle to find size 13 shoes but Millers offers a really great selection and I always find a great pair in my size. And my wife LOVES their funky and fun heels and shoes, like Fluevog. Can't say enough good things about this place.

My go-to place for properly fitted shoes and work boots. They stock many varieties and styles of shoes and boots in hard to find sizes. If you can't find what you need in their inventory, they'll order it in from one of their many suppliers. Staff are friendly and helpful with expansive knowledge of shoes and proper shoe fit. Well worth the price.

My son at 15 was blessed with size 15 feet! After searching high and low for shoes we stumbled across Miller Shoe's website and found an amazing selection of shoes. We made the three hour trip and found what we needed. Staff were attentive and took the time to make sure he had an appropriate fit. Will definitely be returning in the future!

I have very narrow and long feet. On top of that I am partially crippled. I have a terrible time getting shoes that are comfortable and fit well. I came to Hamilton and went to Millers for help to find shoes for my granddaughter's wedding and went home with 2 pair that were just perfect. I will definitely make the trip from Ottawa again.

Location has pretty good service but as it's on a main Street it's difficult to find parking close by. Pricing is fairly competitive and they carry a decent variety of brands. Good shoe store to shop at if you have oddly shaped problem feet such as too wide, or if you have bunions.

Our sales person was Natalie. She was great. We got what we came for and had a nice time talking with her. She was very helpful. Her and another sales person recommended a place for lunch just up the street a couple of blocks for lunch that was very good. Earth Table.

Bought shoes here as I needed an immediate replacement but their selection was quite limited. I found the staff were a bit too hovering and also found the same shoes sold here marked higher than when I went elsewhere. The latter put me off from returning.

Very attentive staff. The man who helped me not only brought me the size I requested but brought out a second size as well based on a hunch. Turned out that his hunch was right and the size of the second pair fit me better.

Miller's Shoes has sizes for narrow feet and boots with calf sizes to fit everyone. I love that old fashioned kind of service too. The James North location has more sizes, so check there first if you need a specialty width.

Almost always have just what I need. Large and wide sizes. Lots to choose from. And they are friendly and remember your last visit usially. Only issue is finding somewhere close by to park.

They had a good selection and size range of the CSA safety Blundstones I was looking for but I found the service overbearing and the staff member who helped me was a bit condescending...
