The recent experience I had at this establishment has left me profoundly disappointed and frustrated. On August 5th, 2023, I visited Exclusive Furniture Store with the intention of purchasing a combination bedroom set that included both a dresser and a chest. During my visit, I made my requirements explicitly clear to the salesman. After considering various options, I finalized my decision based on the repeated assurance from the salesman that the bedroom set would include the necessary chest. It was crucial for me to have the dresser and chest together to accommodate my children's clothing. However, the subsequent sales process was marred by confusion, misinformation, and a notable lack of transparency. The rapid discussions and handwritten calculations, along with items being rewritten multiple times, that transpired during this 2.5-3 hour financing process left me increasingly uncertain about the details of my purchase. My dismay deepened upon the delivery of the furniture on August 8th, 2023. Not only were the delivered items unwrapped in transit, broken and mattress torn, but they also did not correspond to the bedroom set I thought I had ordered. This was when the delivery driver made me aware of Exclusive Furniture's grave mistake of writing the wrong items for my order and not including the chest, which was integral to the purchase. Taking time off work during lunch to address my concerns at the store on August 9th, 2023, I found the manager's response to be wholly unacceptable. The manager informed me that the corrected bedroom set I desired was available, albeit at a $200 higher price point than the set I unknowingly agreed to purchase. He credited the $200 difference, but even with this correction, the set would not include the necessary chest. Why could they credit $200 but not credit the amount to get the chest as promised! He claimed it was impossible. He offered to send someone to "fix" the torn mattress threads. Furthermore, I immediately called Exclusive Furniture's customer service to address my concerns. However, my interaction with their customer service was disheartening. The representative lacked empathy and failed to acknowledge the gravity of the situation. I was informed that the best they could do was schedule a delivery for August 11th, 2023 (Friday), failing to take any meaningful steps to address my concerns about the unethical sales practices and the delivery of incorrect items, and inability to deliver today despite the same-day delivery promise as advertised on TV and radio. My preferred resolution would have been honoring the same-day delivery promise as advertised, with the inclusion of the chest at no additional charge. This would serve as compensation for the inconvenience and the unethical sales practices that coerced me into purchasing an incomplete set. It is pertinent to stress that during the financing conversations and the ensuing confusion, I repeatedly inquired about the inclusion of the chest. Each time, I received affirmative assurances, which further exacerbates my frustration. I firmly believe that my experience highlights several deficiencies in Exclusive Furniture Store's business practices, including unethical sales practices, misleading advertising, and inadequate customer service. As a consumer, I expected honesty, accuracy, and trustworthy service, all of which were regrettably absent in this instance. In my own experience in various industries, companies go far above the norm to settle issues like this. As a family business it is concerning that this is how they operate. As I reviewed the BBB I found that there are similar complaints filed there. If I owned this company, I would want to do more for a wronged customer who is taking time off work to address issues created by their company. The way the sales are unethically completed, it seems like they are really hurting for money.

Customer service with the warranty is horrible! I emailed 3 weeks ago (6/12/23) about my child's bed being broken as per the policy. Never got a call. I called on 06/27/23 because no one ever called. I was told that I would receive a call the next day by the warranty department. On 06/28/23 the same representative called me back stating that the person handling warranties was not in and she would have them to call me upon their return the next day. Instead I got a text message at 2:05p on 06/29/23 stating they had slots available in the next 2 days. I agreed to today (6/30) but asked for a time. I was told they wouldn't know so I asked for a 30 minute call ahead. Today, at 9:48 a (while at work) the automated system verified a 12p-5 window. I agreed to it thinking I would get a call ahead as requested via text on yesterday. You guessed it, they just showed up. When I called to complain, the manager essentially said since I agreed to the 12-5p tineslot (less than 2 hours ago) I was notified of the delivery. Never apologizing for the inconvenience of my son's bed being broken for 3 weeks without so much of an acknowledgement then when I do get communication for a last minute repair, I can't get the common courtesy of a 30 minute call ahead as though now I'm just waiting for them to come. I spend too much money with them to receive this type of service. The manager and since of the salesman at the 99/ Grand Park store knows me by name because of my purchases. Never again.

I’m so disappointed, this is my 5th time buying from Exclusive Furniture and I never had such bad experience, they delivered the wrong sofa and I went to the store and told the sales person and she told me that she had send an email to the corporate office and that they will exchange the sofa for the one that I actually purchase and is going to be a month and I’m still waiting and I want to have my house inauguration party and I can’t because I have that sofa wrapped ready to be taken. I bought the wireless charger sofa recliner and they brought me the previous model that does not have a wireless charger. I already called and visit the sales person and she keeps telling me that the corporate office takes a long time to solve this issues but is not my fault they delivered or order the wrong sofa. In the first picture you can see the actual sofa with the wireless charger they have on display for sale at the store and the second picture the actual sofa they delivered with just a regular charger. I don’t know what to do, I think I going to contact the BBB or a lawyer because this is taking too long to be solved. I just updated this store to 3 starts because they did resolve the problem but it took them a month!!

July purchased sofa/love seat - noticed pillows had lines and elbow markings on it and defective on side of love seat, noisy when you move around sofa/ l love seat. Called corp early Sept- no response. Called again and said someone would be out on 24rd - and a man from Care Team came, took pictures said it was mfg defect. Went to store on N fwy spoke to Mgr Landon. Told me to look for something else - couldn't find anything that didn't look defective. Landon said another Mgr would reach out. Nope - called month later to corp again and they reached out o Landon who called me to assure someone would follow up with me. It's December and NO CALLS TO REACH OUT TO ME. Called Friday D8th to corp with my complaint - as of today Dec 12th no one has reached out to me. I am demanding my $200 layaway amt be returned to me they pick up this furniture (second request) and they straighten out my credit with Synchrony Bank. Poor and disgusting customer service E

Purchase experience was fine but the so-called warranty is a joke. I tried to contact them regarding the warranty on a broken frame on my daughter’s bed. The loft bed collapsed in the middle of the night but thankfully she wasn’t injured. When I called they asked me to text pictures. They then responded that this part wasn’t covered, even though it specifically says in the warranty that the frame is covered. Then they said that it was out of the 1 year warranty, which is also not true. I called for a manager, who never returned my call. The wood is poor quality to collapse like it. I won’t shop at exclusive furniture in the future.

We needed a couch and began our search at this store because it got the best reviews on Google. Now we see it was for good reason. We were greeted by Kaynesh Williams and she had such a nice easy-going manner. She allowed us to browse without feeling pressured, and was always available if we had any questions. And all the free bottled water we desired! (because it’s hot in Texas!) She also threw in a free promo gift we didn’t even realize we were getting. We will certainly return to buy a bed and will request her assistance as well. Kay certainly represents what great customer service should be!

This is a great place! It will be my 1st stop next time I'm furniture shopping and I will recommend to everyone. Easy shopping experience. The clerk kept an eye on us but let us do our own thing and was never pushy. Wide selection of sofas and loveseats. Frozen margarita or wine provided. The pricing exactly what I wanted to pay, around $900 per couch (the range offered was $600 - $3K I think). I am very happy with my selection. The check out process and delivery scheduling was straightforward and satisfying. Delivery was on time, the 2 guys very accommodating.

Ms. Kay was very welcoming from the time we walked through the doors, introduced herself to us and was very professional throughout the whole process. Mr. Bobby came to assist us as well, very professional also. We wanted to leave to get some other items elsewhere, but they managed to convince us with the items in the store, went extra mile to keep us comfortable in our choices and payment plans. The best attention I’ve ever received right from just walking in. I came with my husband to take a look at the prices and was greeted by Tavares. They were about to close but he managed to give us the best attention and we ended up purchasing our dream bed frame that we’ve always wanted. The service when we bought a living room set was excellent in May, the next day after delivery the thread began to unravel on a sofa, I called immediately because they told me that if anything happened in the first 72 hours, they would solve the problem themselves. It's been 4 months and they haven't solved anything, they tell me that in 15 days, 1 month passes and another 3 weeks and so on. I am disappointed in the place. I hope no one goes through what I am going through with this company.

We purchased over $3500+ over a year or so! The salesperson was aggressive to make the sale he made lots of promises they could not deliver on!! They told us our sectional was all leather. That is not the case! The leather is starting to stretch and develop holes, and seating is starting to slump down on one side...We would never recommend anyone to buy furniture from exclusive furmiture... Their furniture is similar to something you find on street corner!!! Please photos are forthcoming!!

The guy who talking to us, his name is Louis and his service is really really bad, the fact that he give us the attitude and we ask him to give us a item that in stock which not that display item in show room. We told him we can not pay a 1500 item with broken wood and scratch glass. He told us, it either we buy or not. We don’t like the attitude and the way he talk to customers.

The Tech came out with a screwdriver! The whole bed set was 3,000$ and I paid extra for the insurance. I was made to wait all day. The window was from 6am to 6pm the tech came out at around 7 pm with a screw driver in hand! Disgusting costumer service! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN THIS STORE. My daughter just wanted her bed fixed.
