A system that does not want to eliminate family violence when the people associated with family law (judges, lawyers, officials, psychiatrists etc) profit off of family violence. Lawyers play games and make false accusations but surprisingly it's not considered slander or defamation of character when a lawyer does it? Removed my 2 young children from my care and they were given to their abusive father without even investigating family violence. The only way to navigate through this system is to be ruthless and lie through your teeth to keep your children because telling the truth will only be refuted and used against you. If there was ever an investigation into the corruption of family court I would not be surprised.

This building of modern design practices the sacred family law of Australia. When you look around it, there are families strolling along side the building to go across the road to the Flagstaff garden to enjoy some sunshine and quality family time together. There are also families sitting in front of majestic courtrooms intending to rip each other apart with their slick attorneys. What is a family? A group of people sticking to each other and bonded by unconditional love. Until unmet needs accumulate and turn into hatred. It then goes ahead and turns that powerful unconditional love into a weapon to kill.

My deepest gratitute goes to the lovely volunteer lady, Yvonne, who offered to sit with me an support me during an unrepresented and very difficult case. She offered support throughout and really cared which was such a sweet thing in such a stressful situation. The next day, another lovely volunteer Sandra sat with me and kindly assisted me all throughout proceedings. People like themare gems in tue court system and should ve paid instead of lawyers!

Based on my experience in Family Law (following separation) within this realm, was that a blatant disregard for the rules of evidence with regards to submissions, lawyers who systemically play their game(s) between each other and their clients during mediation and not following clients instructions, melded with an 'learned' bias judicial officer - it fits the description to a tee of a bonafide "kangaroo court".

Post Covid the delays run between 3 years and 9 years. The judges get bamboozled by simple financial issues and have resorted to a regime in which no one gets paid, except for a priority payment for lawyers. Settle t 48 M/ 52 F wife just to get a deal done. Otherwise each law firm clips 10% and hubbies never pay child support. Its a crazy system

Disgraceful conduct of the registrar that lost a party their entire case and superannuation fund due to apparently not knowing the correct information regarding tax liabilities. Chief judge Will Astergren hasn’t responded to letters in this regard.

I found the staff helpful and congenial especial when dealing with complex issues. Not a quick visit but a little patience goes a long way. It was fantastic to have such great service. #familycourt

A fraud factory run for the employment of lawyers. Of the 4 judges we had not one of them understood much beyond rudimentary arithmetic.

Called to check the time for Justice of Peace. Supposed to be available 9.30am - 1pm. Turned up, no one was there.

Very nice staff here. I have a statutory declaration need to be signed. Sir. Clinton is very kind and helpful.

For Justice of the Peace services (statutory declaration for eg), the timing is from 09:30 to 13:00.

Security guards onsite as of right now are quite rude and abrupt. Unprofessional even.

  • Pabs Pabz

Lazzy staff. They never answer the phone. These people don't care about anyone
