I attended the shop in company with my daughter who was interested in getting her first snake. We spoke with one of the young employees -Justin? who was very knowledgeable about snakes and answered a lot of our questions. This review is not about him as he was very polite and it was because of him we revisited the store the very next day to just ask some more questions and make sure we were choosing correctly. However on this day (Father's Day) that we attended we asked the older gentleman who worked there (who I am assuming may be the owner??) if my daughter could hold one of the snakes. He asked us if we were going to buy a snake today and we said that at his point we werent sure. It was close to closing time and when we walked down to the snake enclosures my daughter asked him about how large the snakes grew to as some we had seen were smaller in captivity than in the wild so we didnt want to end up with a potentially massive snake. The male person said that was because they eat whatever they want whenever they want to in the wild so they dont get fed as much in captivity. My daughter asked him so he didnt feed them as much as they would get in the wild and at this point he became defensive saying that he didnt starve the snakes, that they all got fed and that over 90% of the snakes there woulnt grow extremely large. My daughter replied to him that she wasnt accusing him of not feeding the snakes, it was just that we had seen e.g. coastal pythons growing a lot larger in the wild. The male person just appeared annoyed and then said 'Are you planning on buying this snake' to my daughter (who was holding a Darwin python) . We replied that we were just trying to work out that we were trying to make the right decision and with that he just said in a very annoyed tone of voice 'well the shop is now shutting, if you arent going to buy the snake then I want to close up and go home and enjoy the rest of my Father's day'. We were made to feel very unwanted and that we were imposing upon him and it was clear that all he was interested was about making a fast sale and nothing else. This was completely unethical in my view and completely unlike our experience in the store with Justin the day before. My daughter who is also autistic was very upset as she said she just wanted to ask him questions and couldnt work out why he was getting angry with us It was an awful experience for her and it shouldnt have happened. We will take our business elsewhere !

I went to the fish haven on Saturday and was met with a few red flags before I even started looking at the fish. On the door there is no QR code check in along with a sign that says no photos or videos in store. This to me says they are doing something wrong and don’t want other people seeing. Any other LFS I’ve been to have been fully okay with me taking photos and videos for reference. When we walked in we weren’t greeted, there were four staff there, a woman, man and the two teens. They walked by us several times. The only one that greeted me was the cat. On the right hand side there is what looks to be a 6 foot tank that had a large fish (forgotten the name) and a metre long yellow tail cat fish. It was doing figure 8’s as it didn’t have any where else to swim. This set off HUGE alarm bells. When I asked one of the boys who was working there about it he gave short answers and no reassurance. Walking through the corridor to get to the reptiles and tropical fish there were fighter fish on the right in small glass containers(could have been jars) and no filter in any. They weren’t moving and it was sad to see. There were a tone of fish aquariums which was great how ever all over priced. There was a 10 foot aquarium that would have been much better suited for the catfish (if they cared enough). There are a tonne of tropical fish, too many! There were around ten axolotls in a small tank and a fish who was floating at the top. Yes there was a great variety but there were just too many! How can that many fish be looked after well. The water looked somewhat clean but I would never ever buy fish from there after seeing it for myself. The woman was abrupt and rude. I felt on edge the whole time I was there. There was a maze of tanks/aquariums and at the very back it looked to be an automotive storage place. If they reduced their stock, dropped their prices considerably, cared for the animals rather than just trying to make a profit and learnt some customer service then maybe they could turn it around. By over stocking they’ve dropped in quality and are overlooking the health and consideration of the animals. They’re more like hoarders than anything. I feel sorry for the animals to be honest. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after reading the negative comments about this place but now I’ve seen it for myself. If you do get fish/creatures from this place I’d make sure you have medicine and a vet trip planned. Won’t be going there again.

I bought a tank set up and axolotl from here for my autistic son for Christmas. I had researched what was required however was convinced to ignore the internet advice and go with their recommendation of gravel instead of sand. Was given instructions on how to prep the tank and 3 days later picked up his little mate. 2 days later received an apologetic call saying that ‘this has never happened before’ but our axolotl was from a batch that are now riddled with anchor worm. We were told there was nothing we could do but bring it back and they would replace it with a healthy one. I triple checked whether our tank would be contaminated and would it be okay to put a new healthy axolotl in the tank but were assured that anchorworm lives on the body and wouldn’t be present in the tank. My son had become very attached and spent the entire new year long weekend in tears and struggled to be excited about his replacement. A few days ago they called and said that the original axolotl was now ok and we could buy it back. Given our sons attachment to it, we picked it up and now have 2, which isn’t ideal. Today I did a water change and noticed the new axolotl is riddled with anchorworm. I called fish haven and was told that we had to now bring both axolotls back for treatment and that we would have to completely clean out our tank and leave all contents in the sun for a couple of days to kill the anchorworm. No apology, no compensation. Nothing. We took them back but then received advice that there is a way we can treat it ourselves. That axolotls should NEVER have gravel. We were over feeding them (not that they were eating due to the anchorworm) Every bit of advice had been false. Add to this, you should not remove the worms from the body as it is extremely painful and will most likely result in part of the worm being left in its body. So we went back and retrieved them and now have them home attempting to treat them. My son has gone through unnecessary anguish, it was totally heartbreaking to watch him go through this with his first pet. We could have treated the original axolotl at home and not ended up with 2. I just hope we are able to get them both healthy. I will never enter this store again and will warn anyone I can against them.

She made the entire experience so great, she was showing my 6 year old how to correctly handle the snakes and even let her play with a few we had no intention of buying. I was also really impressed at the level of cleanliness for such a large collection, all the tanks and cages were spotless and all the animals were happy and content which gave me massive peace of mind! Kerry and the whole team were amazing from the get go. The level of knowledge and experience was great, we felt so welcomed and I can’t wait to visit again! I highly recommend popping in, saying hello and looking at the wide range of animals on display! 10/10 to Kerry and the team

Think twice about going here if you want actual customer service. No refunds... just because. I bought a light here for $185 ($140 at pet stop). When I opened the box it had no bulb. My son took it back and asked for a smaller one as it didn't fit under the tank hood anyway. Was told it could only be replaced with an LED light for $285 (again way more than anywhere else). My son brought it home and I said that had gone too far, we'll get one elsewhere. He then tried to return it. First they tried to only refund $185 until he complained. They changed it to the $285 but they'll only do store credit. Has the receipt, in the box, never even took it out let alone plugged it in. I called and said there's no signage to say no refunds, nothing says store credit only (probably putting some signs up as I type aren't you?). When I reminded him my rights as a consumer are a full refund if I provide my receipt and the item is undamaged, and in original packaging he hung up on me. Now going to the ACCC. I've actually been here a few times and spent a fair bit in this shop but this is the only time I've had to do a return. Sad thing is if he'd done the right thing I'd have spent way more than that in the future. Never shopping there again. For the sake of not even $300 you lost a return customer. Well done.

Very sad that I can't leave zero stars. I have visited this store from Sydney. I have been in the same industry for 30 years, and I have never seen this level of cruelty. My visit was a few years ago, for transparency. Lights were off upon entry. They came on via sensor. The first thing I saw was a donation box, asking people to contribute to their electricity bill! The fish room was woeful. Fish dead and dying in all tanks. None had been fed in recent history, and you could see the skeleton through the skin. It went from bad to worse and I left there literally crying. Cats were everywhere, and so was the associated odour. There was a crocodile in an enclosure that it couldn't turn around in! A sign stated that it would be moved to a larger cage soon, but locals have said the sign was there for several years! I am reliably informed that the crocodile has since died. I won't discuss what I saw in other rooms, for fear of being triggered. If you have any respect for living things, do not give money to these people.

Enormous range of fish, reptiles and spiders, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We purchased some small cheap fish for the kids who selected the ones they wanted from the tank (the young boy that served us was very friendly and helpful - congats to him!) but when we went to pay for the fish, the price suddenly jumped to almost double. The shop owner said that we had selected a more expensive fish had ended up in the cheap tank somehow. Despite the fact that they had advertised it at the cheaper price (hello Consumer Affairs), we had to return that fish and get another one. I sent our kids with him to select the other fish they wanted and his reply to this were along the lines of "absolutely not, with these cheap fish you get what you get, no choosing!". The place has so much more potential if the owners new how to deal politely and respectfully with other people - the people that support them and pay their wages.

Had no idea what I was doing first fish tank experience went there for a internal filter the shop recommended WXI-2300 for $110 so I payed the man without hesitation. Only after going to a closer fish shop I realised they charged me double the retail price which was $55 and online it goes for $45 I felt stung. A few days later I was inspecting the list of features on the package to my surprise there was a white sticker covering "includes spray bar" and another on the set-up detail diagram that showed the spray bar in use completely covering so I payed double price and didn't even get what normally comes in the box please research product and correct me if I'm wrong. it blows my mind that people are giving 5 star reviews im assuming they must be family/friends or just people like me who have no idea, are we to blame for this mess from lack of knowledge I give myself 0 stars for being a dingleberry

Went to Fish Haven to see their range of reptiles. There’s no question the place is impressive. I bought a beardy, was questioned rather intensely about lighting etc, I felt a bit compelled to buy new globes from him even though I probably would’ve sourced them from somewhere else. I get that he is looking out for the lizard but the customer service is terrible. He asked if I’d leave a review and that was about the only time I got a smile out of him. I’m not at all surprised at the amount of low star reviews. He could definitely improve on his people skills. When you own and run a business customer service is the number 1 thing that will make a customer return! I hope you read all the reviews Clive and consider doing a course on customer service or at least read up on it. A smile, friendly personality and greeting people politely when they take time to visit your store will go a long way.

ZERO STARS FROM ME! I aggree with many views of others who entered this Fish Haven Shop and my experience reflects in what has already been stated. First off.... It is very unusual to have signage at the entrance stating No Photos taking allowed e.t.c. Why would you? Paranoia perhaps? When entering, it did not take long at all being confronted with negative vibes from the Owner. He clearly lacked any firm of enthusiasm or friendliness let alone any sense of humour. It seemed as if it was such a strain to him to be friendly. I found it difficult in obtaining a simple answer to a simple clear enough question. He kept going around in circles. Kind of like getting an answer when you are not getting one. This experience was enough not in wanting to return there again. My advise, if you want friendly non grumpy service then you need to go elsewhere.

I am the owner of two much loved turtles and have been a very happy and satisfied customer of Fish Haven for a number of years, since being referred by a friend. At the time, one of the turtles was quite ill and despite an expensive visit to the vet, he was not getting any better. After one visit to Fish Haven and armed with products and invaluable advice, my turtle made a full recovery. Recently, I had a problem with the water in the turtle tank, which kept going brown. I showed Clive and Kerry a photo of the tank and they immediately knew what the problem was. I followed their instructions and within a week the water in the tank was clear again. Over the many years I have been a customer, I have found them to be extremely helpful and pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend them anytime.

Big store, heaps of fish to choose from as well as heaps of tanks, ornaments (biggest range I've ever seen in one shop) pumps/filters you name it. The layout is very cramped, in the main warehouse you can barely walk around all the tanks they have for sale, could definitely use a good tidy up. I can see potential for a really high quality store here. The whole place had a pretty unpleasant smell when I visited that should probably be checked out too. Some of the fish didn't look too healthy, few more dead fish in tanks than I'd care to see in a store, I can understand a few, but if you have that many you should probably downsize your range so you can properly care for them all and keep and eye on them all. Staff aren't the friendliest, but service was fine, Cichlids bought here are still happy and healthy.

Alway have a great time when I visit!!! So many cool little creatures. Never know what to expect, always something different. Love love love the macaws The variety of fish is amazing! Not what you would find in your local pet shop, that’s for sure. Huge variety of animals - lizards, snakes, scorpions - fish, yabbies, turtles -frogs, spiders, stick insects, colourful little shrimps (very cool) Uncountable different breeds Crocodile!! And those peculiar hairless dogs that look like little punk rockers! They are the owners pets, and just cruise around, being cool Hairless cats too! My partner bought a fresh water Eel, not sure if they always stock them? Had a couple there the day we got him. But always something new each time. I definitely have to free up and hour or 2 if I’m planning to drop in!!

They have made many improvements in recent months. After hundreds of $ spent AT A NEARBY STORE on fish , plants, food, chemicals and decorative objects over a year and a bit, we lost all of our fish ($1000 worth given size and colour) after being told to keep adding chemical after chemical because they weren't sure what was wrong with our tank, we essentially poisoned our fish. Devastated, we went to Fish Haven for a look, Kerry was so helpful and asked what we were looking for, hesitantly we told her our story start to finish, she helped us start our tank from new and set up our filter media correctly (the filter we had are not set up correctly from factory) she gave us so much advice, wanted to ensure our water was good before selling fish (for the well-being of the fish and ourselves).

I went in to this store despite all the negative reviews and as a advid tropical fish breeder and collector for over 20 years, I was pleasantly surprised. The tanks were immaculate and I was very happy to see that they were heavily planted too. The staff were very pleasant also. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the pricing is not at all clear on a lot of the tanks. For example the first small fish room they had baby Oscars in it but had prices for native fish that definitely weren't in that tank. It was with quite a few tanks. There was also no clear price on the river pebbles, aqua soil etc. Also the lights in the shop went off a few times which is extremely awkward if you are looking and get stuck in the dark.

Lots of creepy crawlies other than fish (tarantulas, scorpions, lizards, centipedes etc) Lots of fish. Big enclosures to look at. A lot of products. Store is big. Hairless dog to greet you at front door. Big fish kept in small tank is unfair. Others unhappy with this also based on reviews. Fish of that size should be in something much larger or free in nature. Purchased a scorpion on another occasion. When handing over to young man at till he took the container and carelessly tossed it onto the counter which was unsettling as he could have injured our new pet and the scorpion was a baby. I agree with the the negative reviews. Unfriendly owners. Sounds like it needs to be accreditated to ensure good welfare of animals.

Been in multiple times and found very poor service, so have tried to avoid the place. Went in recently out of necessity and got some good advice from female staff member, so thought id give them another shot. went back a fortnight later to wait 30 minutes to buy 4 cheap fish, one of which i thought got dropped on the floor when bagging.. it was dead within a few mins of being in my tank. I could quote the whole conversation the staff member had with the couple in front of me, while i was ignored. poor service. The lady seemed to know her stuff, but the guy is the sole reason i wasn't going back before and won't go back again. when you have a business, you are there for the customer, the customer is not there for you!

Not overly impressed to be honest. We were suspicious of a fish we just purchased having an issue. The sales assistant who was awesome btw checked quietly with the owner about something with the tank my son had found a gold fish he liked. We over heard the comment "nah they're all ok". One week later dead fish and now the other one has the same problem and is on death row. This was the final straw to 3 visits in a row whereby each fish purchase just by chance was incorrectly price quoted by the assistant and at the register the owner bumps up the price by $5. Now you're not sending the fish back at the register are you, cheeky tactic. Come on mate, not cool. Kids are upset and I'm not happy.

I’ve never had a good experience in here. The dude at the front is always incredibly rude, dont even bother asking him anything. I’ve seen dead and very ill snakes in enclosures, their poor axolotls are kept horribly (mixed sizes, bright lights, gravel and heated aquarium??), nothing looks well fed and all enclosures are small and dirty. I work at another pet store 15 minutes away and consistebtly have people coming in having absolutely no correct info on the animal they’ve bought and often it’s sick too. I would never ever buy from here. If you want fish near by go to aggies and if you want reptiles go to the petstock near bunnings, both are miles better then this place could ever be.

Kerry is an absolutely beautiful woman, she is so nice and caring. I had just gotten out of an operation and I was very slow walking around, she reassured me I could take as long as I needed. The shop is so beautifully run by a lovely, lovely family. Kerry breeds Sphynx cats and brings them in on Sunday’s for play dates, she’s offered my best friend and myself (we both suffer from severe mental health issues) to come in and sit around the shop on Sunday’s with the cats to rest our heads. I’ve never met a such an amazing shop owner. Thank you for selling beautiful animals and being such amazing people! You’ll definitely see us on Sunday. Stay strong and Happy.

I visited today to purchase goldfish. Unfortunately I was met with incredibly rude ‘customer service’ from a miserable man and an equally miserable younger man. The store is like something from an episode of Hoarders. Reptiles are poorly housed and many appear unwell or living in crammed conditions. Pond plant pools were disgusting and a dead turtle was floating upside down in one of them. It was a very shocking experience. I contacted the RSPCA once I left the store. Overall I felt that it was a case of animal hoarding with far less staff than what is necessary to successfully run and care for animals and business.

I only recently discovered this store and I keep going back for more! The staff are always willing to chat and are highly knowledgeable when it comes to fish, plant and aquarium care! I love the variety in animals and wildlife around the store. The prices are affordable. The animals are all in great care, the quality of the tanks themselves are always in tip-top shape, and regularly I see them get cleaned and maintained. The tips and advice they share have really helped in the care of my fish and plant life. I have recommended friends to this store and they all agree on the wonderful service and friendly staff!

Went in to look at fish for my new pond but didn't get any as they were much dearer than the other shops we'd looked at. Asked the older man for advice as my pond water is tea coloured. His advise was "you're going to regret doing that", and that I should fill the pond in. In his "55 years experience" he may have learnt about ponds, but zero about customer service. I went back to Bottle Tree Aquarium and was given great advice on how to deal with the water colour, including sourcing a product they don't have in stock. I won't be buying anything from Fish Haven. Actually surprised they are still in business.

We called in today to purchase some hermit crabs for my son. Given that this was our first visit to Fish Haven, my son was in complete awe! The amount and variety of stock was unbelieve-my son could have spent hours there. Kerry, was welcoming and attentive from the moment we entered. She answered my little boy’s many questions and helped him to choose his hermit crabs, in a child friendly way. Before we took the new pets home, she provided us with fact sheets and shared her knowledge. We will definitely return whenever we need supplies for our growing number of pets! We purchased a beardie 10 days ago, when we bought him he had a missing back right climbing toe and what was remaining was black. We were sold completely wrong substrate for a baby upon the young man’s direction. I’ve taken my beardie to the vet and he has an infection that was acquired before he came to us and is now pooing blood, upon calling fish haven for some direction we were told we should have known not to put him on sand and that there is nothing the shop will do until he is dead, in which case they’ll help with the cost of another one. Steer well and truly clear of this place.

Kerry and Clive were very generous with their time and expertise. They took time to listen to my concerns about my pond set-up and advised me what to do to rectify problems. Their shop has an extensive range of aquatic and terrestrial pets, food, plants and equipment etc. I really liked the friendly service, they were not pushy and I thought their merchandise is well priced. I recommend Fish Haven to anybody looking to find good service, knowledgeable staff, and a big range of all kinds of aquatic and land creatures, and all the maintenance gear required!

I've had the good fortune of dealing with Kerry and the staff at Fish Haven for the past 4 years. During that time I've had many many problems with my fishpond and have found Kerry to be so helpful and her knowledge is second to none. The last week has proven to be a testing time with the health of my fish, once again, but at no time during my many visits was I made to feel a burden or a failure. Kerry showed empathy, understanding and support. She's not just a business owner, she loves what she does and it shows. I'd recommend Fish Haven to anyone.

Was extremely happy with the service I received from Kerry and Clive. The shop was very clean and all the animals looked healthy and happy as it was feeding time for many. I purchased an Australian tarantula and Kerry was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on them. She was kind enough to open enclosures to let my kids look at many spiders and they have not stopped talking about how much fun they had and how nice the staff were. Will absolutely be returning to purchase another spider in the near future. Highly recommend Fish haven.

We went to purchase a pet turtle from this this store. Upon arrival the mood seemed off. Many of the tanks seemed too small for the amount of animals within them. The customer service was extremely poor. Didn't get to choose our turtle or even really see it before it was boxed then they got us out of the store as fast as possible. When we arrived home it became apparent that the turtle was in poor health as it had a soft shell and small areas of shell rot. I hope she heals and that this business can improve their practices.

Overall bad experience, just read the other bad reviews. Purchased a variety of animals from this place all had problems. Bought a spider for an expensive amount, ended up having serious mites, even their scorpions. Purchased a snake he too had mites but was very well natured. Don't get me started on the fish, fin rot and bladder problems left right and centre. The owners don't like to be told anything even constructive feedback. Won't be coming back, these people don't care about their animals or their customers.

Zero stars...Blokes an absolute crook. Tricked me, stating he was authorised to buy a water dragon without appropriate permit when I gave it to him he locked it straight away with others for sale wouldn't provide me any money as promised and denied all conversations. Reported to Dept Environment and Water, they did nothing except take it from him for surrender to a wildlife park and try to fine me! Shouldn't have any wildlife permits to deal with animals or reptiles and should be investigated by RSCPA!!

Don't recommend. Our second visit here, first time purchasing. AMAZING range of critters, I could have sent myself broke in here and turned the house into a menagerie lol Friendly and knowledgeable staff, however the health of the poor critter I bought was atrocious. Poor snake had damaged scales and severe anxiety when being held, especially for an older reptile. Was told she was a she, soon found out the opposite. He died within 6 months, even after proper loving care and vet visits :/

Bought a turtle and some fish about a month ago and have waited until now to write a review as I had read previous reviews and wanted to give an honest review with time elapsed before doing so. Well Kerry was very helpful, service was great, Kerry was extremely knowledgeable and we walked away with fact sheets on caring for our turtle and tank setup which for me was important as there was a lot to remember. A month on and all are still alive and look happy and healthy.

I repeat do not buy any snake from here bought one about 4 years ago for it to die not even a week after owning it yes all correct set up like a snake should have rang a few places and they said a genetic problem when approached the owner to confront him he rang the police cause he cant deal with people haveing problems with animals from him have heard from numerous shops now that their shop and animals actaully have a disease would not recomand for anyone

Honestly I would give 0 stars if I could. I purchased an eastern bearded dragon a week ago. The setup they recommended was completely wrong and not suitable. I ended up having to shop elsewhere to correct the mistakes. I just took my little guy to the vets and he has an Infection. His white blood cells indicate it was caught before he was in my possession. His now on anti biotics. Seriously guys, I strongly suggest bypassing this shop and going elsewhere.

Please never buy from this pet store, especially not the snakes. every snake in that shop either has scale rot, or was incredibly mistreated, as well as practically every other animal there. This shop is down right abusive and only gets away with it because of its ban on taking photos of the horrible state of the place. If you want to find reptiles, go to the tea tree gully reptile shop. If you want fish, go to Aggies aquarium. Please just don't go here.

Amazing store. We came in looking for help for the sick bearded dragons that we rescued and Kerry has been great in helping us get them back to good health. She's knowledable and cares greatly for the animals. She went out of her way to help our dragons and contact people to get information. Thank you so much! I'll gladly shop here for my reptile needs :) my daughter loves the shop too and loves spending time looking at all the fish and reptiles.

Have brought my 1st snake from there. Was very rude wnated to just get me out. The lady helped. Snake didn't eat for the 1st 4 weeks. And has lumps on tail. Wouldn't recommend this place Very ruff with animals.. including the k9 locked up out the back . Was to much stuff in store and tanks aren't big enough for the amount of fish in the tank. The big fish on the left is just going 8s cos he can't swim but they have 10f tanks out the back ?

ZERO STARS - SOLD ME DISEASED/SICK FISH that died and refused to refund. When I called them they were rude and HUNG UP ON ME, telling me it was my tank even though my temperature and PH level was correct for this fish type and in an established tank! Service in store was horrible. Lights were turned off so had to use my torch to look at fish. They also gave me mis-information about temperament of angel fish to get a sale. DO NOT GO HERE

Was very impressed with the shop presentation all the tanks always look clean and neatly presented . Their tanks are always full of plants and have a very large variety of fish Everytime I've been. Can't say I've had any issue with staff they have always been friendly and always asking if they can be of any assistance. Sold me a faulty tank. The stand literally fell apart as I was driving home. The tank leaked all over my carpet and the new stand I had to use. I came back to get a swap, had to spend more money on a smaller tank so my fish wouldn't die and when I brought the damaged goods back I was told that I wouldn't get a refund. Used to be a great place. Now it's the worst fish store in Australia. Don't come here or you'll get ripped off.

Disgusting owners. Dad and son are feral. The shop does what it wants. Opening hours are just a guide and prices are over the top. Half the front area had all lights off and owner rushed me through the store not letting me look at anything. Pet stock down the road helped me get what was needed that day. And went to Seaview Aquarium Centre for my fish needs in future. This place should Be closed down.

Wow! So surprised at the below reviews as we personally we had a an amazing experience.. All the staff were great ! Especially Kerry! She was so knowledgeable and fantastic with my 11 year old who was buying his first bearded dragon. Couldn't have been more impressed with the cleanliness of the store and how healthy everything looked. We will definitely go there again.

So much wrong with this place! Overcrowding of fish in tanks especially the axolotls. Giant catfish in tiny tanks which have no room to move. The selling of coloured glass fish which are artificially coloured with injected dyes, completely immoral! Lastly the customer service is non existent! Avoid at all costs and head to Aggie's aquariums up the road.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Owner told me to "shut up and listen" when I asked about a certain light globe for my snake. He told me "you have no idea what you're on about and that a normal globe is fine for my snake . All animals are severely abused. Have been on touch with RSPCA repeatedly and they're still open! After a handful of recent visits to this store, I cannot stress enough the lack of integrity and unprofessionalism that this family business possesses. Selling faulty products with the promise that they are functional and then refusing a refund when the goods are returned. Overall, an incredibly disappointing share of service and experiences.

Went there to buy some globes. Ask the young lad If they had the purple or pink ones. Was told they don't come in colours? Went to another shop and got what I wanted. Attitude was not good. The cat was friendly though. Came out to greet me and walked me in. 5 stars for the cat minus four for the workers attitude.

Wow love this place! We started with a small aquarium a year ago and with the sound advice from Kerry at fish haven we have now upgraded our tank to fit our happy healthy and now very large fish! I bought two fishes from here and they got fungi after one weeks and other fishes in my tank were infected and died. I inspect eyerything in my tank and nothing wrong with it. I bought other two again and the same thing pappen again. Their fish are easy to get fungi as and die.

Clive was extremely helpful. Pet dog & cat were also very friendly. This place has more aquariums than you could count and not one dead or sick fish to be seen. Snakes, many lizards, spiders, scorpions and everything you could imagine. Also 2 pet Macaws.
