Cinema is good. Popcorn sold on the day I visited was more than a tad salty to my taste. However, I'm giving this place a 5-star rating not solely because of the cinema and amenities but the location. Around the area just a few steps away from the cinema are a number of restaurants: Nando's, Grill'd, The Bavarian, TGIF, Kosso Korean BBQ, Bangkok restaurant, Vietnamese restaurant, Kintaro sushi (sushi train), Zitto coffee, Caffe Primo, etc. to name a few not to mention a small playground and an arcade. A very family friendly place...and a very good place, after watching a movie, to dine with friends and family or hang out after. Ample parking spaces and a good public toilet available onsite.

Visited this theatre a few months ago. Waited about 10 minutes at the bar. No staff to be seen. Asked the kitchen staff if we could get a drink. Shortly after a bloated angry woman appeared berating me for daring to enter the kitchen. I explained that there was no service, but her tirade continued. Vowed never to return. Against my better judgement returned tonight. Food order arrived slowly but they forgot the drinks. Ordered another drink around an hour later and they forgot that too. Had to go downstairs again to remind them. Overpriced, incompetent staff and a waste of time. Avoid like the plague. Definitely will not return.

For me the cleanliness of the cinema and amenities is the most important. The cinemas was cleanish, the passages to the cinemas were grubby, but the toilets were awful! There aren't enough toilets and 2 of the ladies toilets were blocked and unusable, so the queue was out the door. The toilet floor was littered with paper and there was mould and dirt in the hand dryers. I enjoyed the movie, the seats were comfortable and the price of food and beverages is expensive, but no more than I expected. There are other cinemas in the suburbs that are far cleaner and more pleasant.

The cinema is great! Cinema 4 has luxurious seating. Bit of a rabbit warren finding my way back to the candy bar. The very expensive popcorn was old & stale at 10am! I feelso uncomfortable complaining, but staff kindly gave me fresher popcorn. Toilets facilities very clean. The automated ticket and snack buying machine as you walk in are not idiot proof. I was unable to scan in my Hoyts gift card successfully. Not enough instructions for this old girl. Snacks VERY expensive and not price ticketed well. Overall very nice, but will probably stick to budget Wallis.

It's my birthday ... and I'm now sick because I didn't eat. I ordered food with my ticket, waited 20 mins, got a service alarm and went into my movie late. 3/4 of the way through the movie and the service alarm finally went off..... they asked me if I had received any of my order and whether I still wanted it, by then I'd missed some crucial moments of the movie. They offered me a refund, but I'm now sick from not eating that I can't go out for my birthday dinner. I'm so miserable and disappointed. Sweet potato fries and a latte... nope tears and a tummy ache.

My wife and I visited the TTP cinema today, first time in many years. Well set up, clean and with comfortable reclining seats. My real reason for this post is to thank, praise and ,hopefully, promote the tall, thin dark haired young lady that noticed our wandering and came over to offer assistance. While clearly spoken. Bubbly and always smiling, showed us around and made the experience a joy. Great service young lady, you surly set a fine example. Regards Very satisfied customer.....

OMG. Haven't been here for a while and it was awesome to return. Self serve kiosk is easy to operate, order your food here also. Pick up your items at the open food and drink mart then head to the counter for ticket review and get your 3D glasses here also. Clean and inviting environment. The cinema is clean and smells like popcorn The seats are all leather recliners, so you can recline while watching your movie. Very comfy, nearly fell asleep LOL. Will return in the future.

Seats great but watching a live concert I was disappointed with the sound. The volume was inconsistent like someone kept turning it down. I know the sound is a amazing as I seen mission impossible about a month ago and I was very impressed. The most disappointing thing was they closed the bar half way through. I really thought after you pay twice as much as a normal ticket you would get service for the entire show. The lux experience didn't love up to the high standards.

This place is absolutely massive! There is a self service food area where you grab your own food, drinks, and lollies. My only negative is it was hard to find the price sheets and to actually locate the cinema. The cinemas themselves are pretty big, all with recliners and massive screens with good quality. I was in a pretty packed cinema but couldn't hear a thing apart from the movie which was awesone! This cinema is so modern, clean and carefree. Definelty coming back

Pretty average gold class experience tonight. Ordered a drink for the start of the movie and one half way though. Had to remind them twice and finally got the first beer 40 minutes in. Movie was getting pretty close to the end so again reminded them and got it 5 minutes before it finished. Friends had to get drinks refunded as they didn't all arrive. Can't fault the cinema quality but for the price of this experience I expected far better service

Finally this place is getting a refurbishment, and yes it is a little messy, out of sorts and a bit dusty... but what they have done so far looks amazing - think people should stop whinging, all renovations are messy, have some patience people The Cinema is clean & fresh fitted out with leather look recliner seats which adds to an a awesome “big screen experience” looking forward to enjoying all the upcoming movie releases

First time in 5 or 6 years to any picture theatre and probably 30 years absent prior to that! Crikey how the facilities have changed since I was a boy?? Took the 3 grandkids to see Lyall Lyall Crocodile and I reckon I enjoyed that movie more than they did. Comfortable, adjustable seats and reasonable leg room. A very strong chance I will go to this theatre complex again when a coming movie tweeks my interest. Highly recommended.

Always love this cinema. The seats are fantastic black leather reclining lounges through all cinemas. The movie selection is great, as well as the times on offer due to the large amounts of cinemas available. The snack bar is nice and well laid out, and there are even bar options available. The cinema is also located in the middle of a cluster of fairly decent restaraunts so it's always nice to get dinner before/after the show.

I love this cinema at TTP, seats are so comfortable, film quality is great, staff are super friendly and very helpful. Ticket prices are reasonable, candy bar is a tad expensive, but for as long as I can remember the candy bars in all cinemas always have been. I don’t mind paying a little more for a drink and some popcorn, it’s the atmosphere and a good movie that brings me out to the cinema.

The movie was enjoyable, the cinema seats were very comfortable, the customer service was great. The price of the drinks were absolutely ridiculous. A small frozen coke cost $9 and the paper straw was an unusable soggy mess within 2 minutes. The pizza's were more reasonably priced and very nice, but I will never be purchasing a drink from Hoyts again.

Went to see Roger Waters concert/film. Sound was atrocious. Theatre way too hot. At interval and at end, no lights were put on, so people had to make their own way about in the dark. Would have been very dangerous for sight or mobility impaired. Recliner seating spacious and comfortable. Food and drinks way overpriced.

Huge fan of the hoyts rewards system! Because of my cinema addiction I now have thousands of points to spend whenever I've driven myself broke. Very happy about the hot food selection available as well, always great when you've forgotten to get a meal beforehand! The new dbox recliners are really worth trying as well!

Fairly new complex... I should know because I supervised the construction of some of HOYTS new cinema at Tea Tree Plaza.... probably the best cinema to watch a movie, in comfort... and have a bite to eat after your movie at 1 of many specialty food bistros! Definitely recommended for a pleasant experience!

Went to see the John Farnham movie. Seats were very comfortable and sound was good. Because we were visiting, we weren't familiar with the shopping centre layout, and signage was almost completely lacking. We were in the right area but only found the cinemas when we asked some locals for directions.

My place of choice for movies. The new recliners are awesome. Have included lux class seats. For double the price and being one of the few lux class that don’t offer free drink and popcorn probably not worth it for extra reclining functions, cupboard for your bag and better table for food.

I went and saw the new fast x with my dog he took 2 dumps on the floor and the staff members both times came a cleaned it up closer too the end of the movie everybody had left i don't know why but they did and then my dog got so nervous he took the biggest dump ever like OMG it was huge

Excellent place for movie nights. The recliner seats are so so comfortable. From classic popcorns to gourmet treats, they have it all. It’s a place where you want to keep coming back for the premium movie watching experience. The place is well maintained and never disappoints.

The food & drinks seat arm was boot clean. Sitting half way between the middle seat and the far right or left seat offered poor audio, only able to hear one half of the 'stereo'. May be front and rear center speakers may help, I am no expert on this but it seems sensible.

Great cinemas with comfortable reclining seats. It is located in one of the nicest plazas in Adelaide and surrounded by heaps of awesome restaurants. Cinemas are well set up and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. When it comes to cinemas, here is our favourite.

Came to a 9.30pm session the seats were covered in popcorn and still had drink cups and rubbish in the cup holders. Not in just our seats but through out the cinema. We had to clean up before we could sit. Very disappointed rather than a great night.

First time to a Lux Cinema and WOW !! Such a hoot thoroughly enjoyed the experience Food was delicious as was the mocktails Service was outstanding really friendly staff who escort you to your lounge chairs Really impressive highly recommend

Amazing cinema. I travel past all my local cinemas just for the amazing reclining seats here at Hoyts Cinema Tea Tree Plaza. No matter whether the movie is amazing or boring (I have a little snooze) I know I’ll be comfortable in my supine position!

Very nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Everything is easily accessible for food and drinks etc Chairs recline and are quite comfy to. Only issue for me personally is the volume was very loud and left with a headache by the end of the movie

Cinema is great. Customer service is fabulous! Ushers were polite and friendly. FNAF Movie is awesome!! The main entry and food lobby were nice and clean. Welcoming. However the exit area was trashed. Shame people drop so much rubbish!

Me and my friends saw the movie , champions . Great movie , all the staff was pleasant and helpful if need be. Had no clue the seat were recliner ones, that was a bonus . All in all a great experience at the tea tree plaza location.

Pricey but comfortable. Seats are a little tight, however not as worn as Salisbury. Bottle of water was $7.60 when that brand is no more than $2 elsewhere. Take your own drinks and snacks people. Ticket prices are over priced also.

Recently refurbished it’s quite well set up and extremely clean. Service is a little lacking for Saturday morning crowds during the holidays. The only other downside is it’s quite warm for a rather hot day.

The cinemas are great. Reclining chairs and plenty of space and good sound.. I think ticket cost is reasonable. The candy bar isn't such great value though its expensive but it does have a wide range.

The barbie movie was still showing, we were keen to have pics in the Barbie Box and they have removed it. Won’t be back. (Should have left the barbie box up until the movie finished screening!)

pretty good cinema, nice and clean. They let you bring in snacks which is nice if you wanna save a buck going to woolies beforehand instead of paying 15 dollars for a small popcorn and drink

The women at the hoyts ttp couldn't do her hair and she wanted and who carries an ID she said the kids u need proof of age even though we had a parent needs mascara stupid lady

Don't go to the movies much however went and saw Oppenheimer. The facilities are awesome since the renovations but the prices omg pretty bad.

Comfy recliners, regularly cleaned, in all cinemas with D-Box available in some cinemas. We tried the D-Box with the kids and it was great.

Had relax time watching a movie and found recliners!! Hoyts at TTP has always been my favourite cinema and service is quick and friendly!!

Best cinema I’ve been to in Adelaide for sure! Whether it’s Hoyts Lux or the regular cinemas, it’s next level! Always worth a visit.

Had my date night with husband at lux. Clean atmosphere, recline chair are comfy. We had champagne and whiskey with some chips.

Great on a weekday around lunch, not too busy. Extreme screen is definitely an option if you want awesome sound.
