I love Palace Nova, it is my one stop shop for indie and foreign movies. I love that they do regular cult screening it's all you can ask for but as a patron PLEASE PLEASE upgrade the seats in cinema 4. They are antiquated, dusty and extremely uncomfortable. Please one day get the seats up to standard with the rest of the cinema.
DISGUSTING!!!!! This cinema knowingly hosted an event screening pro n*zi content, after members of the community contacted them. Concerned about a group of n*zis meeting in Adelaide east end, then the venue blocked their messages. I used to love this place but you won't see me anywhere near it again. Ever.
Lovely set of cinemas, kind staff, offerings from small rooms to huge screens. Check their website for all sorts of events, festivals, and pre-screenings. Only 4 stars because we have to rep their Prospect location which has smaller rooms but more polished aesthetics (and are our locals ;P )
Good place to hang out for a movie night, great atmosphere. Reasonable lowered price for tickets for students, but drinks are expensive ($5.20 for a bottle of water). Overall facilities are nothing to write home about, but just “good enough”.
I love the $15 double features, and the movies you guys select to show are great. I will admit the popcorn is a little bit disappointing, but I feel like all cinemas are a bit that way now (Hoyts not selling fresh popcorn anymore?!) Overall
1970s called. They wanted their carpet back. I was on holiday and decided to stop by and watch a movie. The staff were great . I was delayed in seeing the film as there was a premiere on. The place stank like a student apartment after a
i went in there to watch a MA 15+ movie with my friends and we were all of age. We bought tickets on the self service and as we walked past this lady asked us for our Id. My friend’s Id’s worked as they used pictures of their passports but
Though I found walking through the cinema akin to wandering a labyrinth and the seating somewhat uncomfortable, the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Prices are a tad on the steep side but that could just be the norm for a city location.
Lovely big seats and lots of leg room. There are ramps available so accessibility is pretty good, but would be better if they had rails next to the stairs in the cinema for non-wheelchair users with mobility issues as the top seats are
The staff there are always so so lovely. They do great discounts for concessions and seniors. I love that they have world movies and more niche, creative ones too! Nice change from the mainstream. They also have alcohol!
Rang East End Nova to see if I could leave my Mobility Scooter in the Foyer. Staff went out of their way to look after me and as the day was quiet, they parked me right outside Cinema 10. Thank you all so much. ❤️ …
Easy walk from decent car parking. Seats were comfortable. You could buy food there (limited choice though) Heaps of choice within a few minutes walk too. Only issue I found was the toilets were terrible.
Great complexe, senior gentlemen greeted me when I showed him my ticket Comfortable seats, great movie flower moon Toilets were clean which is great Thanks Palace Nova
I saw Oppenheimer today. Everything went just fine and the movie went on with no intermission, exactly the way I love it. No excessive ads before the movie.
My other sanctuary in Adelaide. Especially on hot summer days. Besides movies and comfortable chairs , you can get coffee or tea and delicious cakes …
Great to support a local cinema instead of one of the big chains. Within their huge screen the seats were comfy, even if they were slightly tight,
The services were super nice and friendly. Had a really awesome time and a great and inspiring movie:)
Good cinema. Happy with seating position, seats do become uncomfortable after 1 hr. Reasonable prices.
Great place for a good movie... Good layout for seats and comfortable seating
Nice staff and some classic movie nights available.
