Today we watched Ghost busters we were in the more luxuary cinima with chairs that recline and are very comfortable. It was quiet a treat. One problem the volume was uncomfortably loud it was great for low tone or bass but everything else was ear pearcing. Kinda like walking past a construction site. We all had to cover our ears I was tempted to ask to turn down abit or quickly buy ear plugs but instead used scrunched up tissue in our ears, this worked suprisingly enough. Thanks to dads idea as he does this. Then it started to get chilly lucky being prepared I allways bring a jacket or blanket even if its hot outside. After movie had a quick trip to bathroom, I had no toilet paper in my cubucal so just be sure to check. Aside from that the service was amazing and friendly. The pop corn is allways a faveroute. Cant wait to come back but had a thought I wonder if cinamas should start offering a light thin blanket with there logo and or some ear plugs at candy bar for us more sensatives. I dont know its just an idea.
I love reading cinema, mainly because it's one of the only cinemas near where I live. I go here for every movie and I always have a good time. The seats are sometimes uncomfortable and the Titan lux seats need more care and love as they don't stay up and go down with just a little bit of pressure and sometimes don't work. I am not rating it a five star because of the seats and because of the overall cleanliness, it is terrible. They do not clean the seats properly and do not clean in between movie times. I came in one time and there was an entire box of KFC chicken just left there, yes the people should have put it in the bin as an act of respect but that just showed to me that they don't clean in between movies.
i've been to this cinema since I was kid. though im giving this cinema 3 stars since a large popcorn is like $12 which is stupidly expensive when I can get 95 cent popcorn at coles and is roughly the same size and still taste good. also the tickets are always so expensive. i think it should be like $15 adults and $5 for age 5 and under and $10 between age 6 to 13, then $12 of 14 to 17. also so disapointed that the seats for standard is really bad. i get that its the lowest priced screening but at least make it comfortable enough to watch the movie. i felt like i was in boarding school with my back being forcefully straight 24/7. lol.
With prices going up (tickets used to be $10) we won’t be going much now but I do enjoy going here. The recliners with a table made a long movie much more comfortable. I really like that. I will say though that it’s always too hot in these cinemas for me- I go in dressed for summer even in winter which I recommend for anyone who runs hot. Its just too stuffy and makes me sleepy- the opposite to what I need in there. Other than that and the (of course) exorbitant prices at the candy bar I definitely recommend this place. Plenty of toilets so u never have to wait, everything seems clean enough and staff are nice.
The hallway leading to the cinemas was nice as was the look of the cinema itself but the lobby was filthy, paper and pop corn all over the floor and a sticky spot by the counter which pulled my shoe off... (might have just been that time, who knows). We had 4 chairs in the cinema and not one of the chairs worked correctly, 2 didn't recline at all, 2 were all sticky and one reclined and sat up completely on its own and at random which made enough of a squeaking noise to annoy people around us. We'll definitely stick to going to the Westlakes Reading Cinema from here on.
I just found that a few weeks ago Reading cinemas quietly removed the defence veterans white card discount that allowed these card holders to see movies @ your cinemas for $1, whilst the discount for gold card veterans remained. It's really disappointing to see this, when I rang to inquire, the staff at the Elizabeth Readi ng cinemas couldn't even tell me why and to contact head office, which was even more of a slap in the face, you have no idea how vital this was to many veteran's enjoy you extra profits.
Pretty cool at this cinema, we saw jackass forever in the luxe one and the Chairs were super comfy but they do need to fix some in the G aisle think number between 7-9 because a few weren't working at all. Unfortunately my partner got a bad one and wouldn't move at all unfortunately, but otherwise a pretty good one here the tickets dont cost an arm and a leg which is great and there's few lollies, popcorn and drinks here. Not a huge range but popcorn tasted great. And staff were amazing too
Favourite cinema in all of Adelaide. The staff are lovely, the cinemas are always clean and comfortable. Very inviting atmosphere. They have the best popcorn around and staff aren't judgey when you walk in and ask for a popcorn to go. Huge range of films shown and special events. Giveaways on their Facebook page. Highly recommend. I actually live close to the city and have 3 cinemas close to me but I drive all the way to Elizabeth just to go to this cinema.
The ticket machine wouldn't work to get our pre purchase tickets on boxing day and the line was mega long but found a worker who took us straight to the front of the line to sort out the problem, was sorted and we made our way to our seats which are big and spacious and apart from one seat in our group that didn't recline all the way most worked perfectly. The cinema was clean and cool and the picture and sound were of excellent quality.
$10 tickets for all, everyday. Generally clean and friendly service - occasionally seems understaffed when busy and individual cinemas don't always seem to get cleaned between each session. But for $10 each, don't really feel too fussed about that sort of thing. Rewards card is also great - seems like I get a free drink or some other sort of reward every other time I go. Very good value!
Went to see bad guys with the grandkids, after a mess up being sent to the wrong cinema and wrong seats we eventually got to the right one just as it was starting and enjoyed the movie. Not the best initial experience and kinda put an initial damper on our day. Normally no issues and an enjoyable experience but on this occasion, not angry but just disappointed this time.
Disabled adult son attended with carer to watch a movie and left bag with wallet and sun glasses in cinema. I understand not cinemas fault but when both myself and the carer rang to find out if it was still there we got told we can't go look for it, it's not in lost or found and didn't even want to take details so they could contact us if it showed up. No care at all...
Ordered the tickets online for a 3D experience. After watching Avatar, we had to return to glasses, however somebody took mine whilst walking past my chair, I told the employer whilst still in the cinema room…. And the woman would not let me out. She held me in that room and said “I cannot let you out until you give me the glasses.” Absolutely ruined the mood!
Easy to get into, find where you need to go and getting everything you need before even sitting down. Not too ridiculously overpriced like some other places but on par with what you'd expect for pricing. My partner left her phone there by accident close to midnight and the staff stayed around until we could get back to grab it 20 minutes later.
Always a great night, best price tickets and food, and staff always go above and beyond. I have 2 children on the spectrum, and that place isn't too big and crowded, also being on the outskirts of the shopping complex is good too. Make sure you bring at least 20 extra for the children as tuns of fun is opposite the entrance …
Love our local cinema. I usually book online plus order our snacks at the same time! Sometimes, they don't have the staff numbers to allow e-ticket/preordered snacks- if you advertise a "jump the queue" service, you need to ensure people aren't waiting in queues! Still will always select here over other cinemas!
Saw Top Gun Maverick in the premium cinema. Hadn't been for quite a while and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the electric recliners in all the seats. Was very comfortable and the swing in table was a handy touch. Really comfortable both in the seating and the temperature as it was a cool 8° outside.
We saw Dr Strange in the Titan Lux Theatre which was fantastic with the huge screen making all the special effects come alive in front of us, you can feel the sound through the floor and the recliner seat was soo comfortable it made the time in it pass with ease, beats any home theatre hands down.
I see all my movies here and love it. The titan lux cinema is so comfortable and premium is awesome. Even seeing a movie in the standard cinema is great because it’s usually accompanied by a choc top, popcorn and drink, served by incredibly friendly staff! Can’t recommend this cinema enough.
The cheapest and most comfortable cinema I've been to in Adelaide. The Luxe seats recline and have footrests. The cinema complex is spacious and clean with friendly staff and good range at the kiosk. Parking is free, shaded and it's easy to get a park near the cinema unlike Hoyts TTP.
The reason behind the 2star rating is the popcorn. Every time I I get it it’s always like it went through the blender first before it got served. Not worth the money. The location is good. Seats are comfortable. Will go again but I’ll skip the popcorn and bring snacks instead.
Never had a bad experience great amenities and facilities, comfy seats, good customer service, have always enjoyed going to the cinema here been going for last 12 years still cant fault it.. especially with restaurants close by perfect for a good night or day out. …
Good range of cinemas for different comfort and experiences. Fair pricing for tickets depending on cinema. Candy bar is wildly over priced as expected. Staff generally seem tired or disinterested in your experience. Bins overfilled and messy cinemas multiple visits.
Comfortable seats in the theatre and really friendly staff. Had prepaid for the first movie i have been to since before the pandemic came and bought a ticket online so a little unsure how to go about getting into theatre and staff were more than helpful.
Love the Titan Lux cinemas & won't go to the normal cinemas anymore. Although it costs a few extra dollars it's well worth it. The facilities are always clean & well presented. Staff are friendly. Snack bar is overpriced but you get that at any cinema.
I'm one of the cleaners .. actually I share the cleaning of the bathrooms with the boss Shari Lonergan..we are an awesome team together along with the other cleaners that specialise in cleaning all 8 cinemas...it's an AWESOME team to work with …
A real gem for the community. The cinema is in a great location and the workers are enthusiastic about their jobs. It's a great place to see a movie after having a bite to eat at one of the neighbouring eateries or the shopping centre food court.
By far the best cinema! Always clean. The seats are spacious and comfortable and staff are friendly. Never have issues with sound quality and the pictures are perfect. Honestly wish all cinemas would take note as they could learn a thing or two!
Haven't been in a while... service was average but adequate, the foyer seems dated. One good thing the seats are leather and updated although they don't recline. Great price though for a cinema experience with a curved screen and good sound.
The best cinema experience in Adelaide in terms of value. Huge screens and very low prices. Decent food and drink combos, very comfortable recliner seating, helpful staff, clean amenities, and a good range of films showing at any given
Love these cinemas! I'm not able to go very often but it's always a great experience especially the the soft recliners! Take the time out of the hussle and bussle of your life's and escape to another world. Even for a couple of hours.
Great cinimas and is alot cleaner then the west Lakes reading cinima we recently went to westlakes and was disgusted and couldn't believe how dirty it was we will definitely be coming to elizabeth alot more over all the other cinimas
All tickets are 10 dollars! The theater rooms are clean and large. I don't think they have 3d or 4k projectors but the quality of the theaters is still pretty good. It's right next to a big mall aswell! Visited on February 2018.
Great movie... clean environment honest worker's as my friend lost his wallet in the cinema which he didn't discover it til he got back too his car once he'd returned asked if it been handed in... yes 1 of the cleaner's found it
Well when I went to see a movie there was ten people in the theatre ,however the movie was 15+ rated and sure enough I seen a minor sitting and watching the movie! Constantly talking, parents playing with phone throughout movie!
Lots of friendly stuff, the food (including the popcorn) tasted so good but a bit expensive at what ways and the recliner seats makes me feel I wanted to relaxed. Definitely one of the best cinema experiences I've ever had.
Always plenty of sessions for movies and in over 10 years of going here I have never had a problem. Great work to all the staff, they definitely are passionate about what they do, and there for do it exceptionally well
Everything was great, except for the old woman with the coloured hair behind the counter - every time I go there she's the grumpiest person. Nobody's forcing you to be there sweetie. Would be 5 stars if not for her.
8 nice cinemas, large range of movies available to see. No need to climb stairs, level seating for ♿ Disability seating. Large ♿, ♿️ across the Shopping Centre's road in a large parking area near the
Myself and 2 of my lovely carers went to see the movie penguins Bloom. The cinema was fantastic, very spacious and spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We shall definitely return. ☺️
Its been a while since I last watch a movie here. I watch at cinema 7 , and no recliner seat , unlucky. Seats are also a bit to close and tight. I guess it needs an upgrade to be competitive. Until next time
I've found the chairs to be comfortable in both the titan and the normal screens. A pleasant experience all around Although they did get a bit expensive post COVID. What happened to the $10 tickets?
Wondering how I can take those comfortable seats with me. Very professional and friendly staff. They also kept people separated due to Covid restrictions. Fully recommend going here for all
Awesome cinema. Always really good service from the folks who work there, especially the manager lady she is awesome. Super overpriced food and drink but it's a cinema what do you expect.
The prices for the movies was only $13. The whole thing was brilliant. I'll definitely will be going back to see more movies and drinks and pop corn. It's a great day out for everyone.
Great cinema. Really good pricing and always clean. Seats are comfortable as well. Only downside is the menu at the snack bar is very limited otherwise it would be a strong 5 stars
Prices are quite cheap. The reclining chairs were so comfortable. Really clean. Amazing sound and quality of screen. Only negative is the lack of options from the kiosk for snacks.
Amazing viewing experience. Saw a movie in the Titan Lux cinema here and loved every minute of it. The chairs were very comfy and the sound and quality of the movie was amazing.
Reasonable ticket prices, comfortable recliners in some rooms amd ample screen size. However leg room in the standard theatres is not quite enough for anyone over 5' 10"
I always go to this cinema as its one of the better ones in my area. Very lovely stuff. Little bit on the expensive side for snacks but that's expected in a cinema.
Clean, reasonably well maintained, easy checkout experience. The titan and premium cinemas are great. Probably wouldn't visit for the standard screens anymore.
Went to see The Little Things The movie was 5/10 but the cinema was 9/10 Great seating sound and lighting Would recommend for a group of friends or a date/10
I go for titan lux because it has comfortable leather reclining seats and it's more spacious. Rather cheaper than some of the other cinema's I've been to
Friendly staff, clean cinemas, only downside was that the seats are a little warped so had to sit in a not terribly comfortable position for 2+ hours
Excellent experience in the new premium seats, fantastic staff as usual, and a wonderful venue to chill with family and friends and watch a movie.
Lowkey Best cinema in the next 10-20 minute drive around here not even lying its clean, the movie roster is always fire and the seats are comfy.
Biggest and best cinema in the North. Saw Top Gun on the titan screen, brilliant . Nice seating, but the candy bar prices are a bit steep$$.
this is a very nice place the screen is big enough to see a mile away the seats are comfy the food is delicious i really recomend this place
Another great place to see a movie, nice comfy seats, can lie back, put your feet up and relax, staff helpful, lots of snacks available too
kind staff and comfy seats. always come here to watch a new film, never had any issues. popcorn is perfect too. overall an amazing cinema!
Movie was good but should not be showing the no smoking Ads which show a medical procedure right as people are beginning to eat/drink.
Fantastic can't believe if you are and have a DVA Gold Card it cost a $1 for you to see any movie. I take my granddaughter all time.
Nice and clean and the staff were friendly. Will hopefully update all the cinemas to recliners if they want to keep up with hoyts.
I just watched the Barbie movie here! Great seats and food here. I definitely recommend watching Barbie, it slays! …
Great so clean and comfortable....but cinemas in general need to start selling less noisy packaging omg wrappers ffs …
A great place to see the movie you are looking forward to see. Nice comfortable chairs. Take time out enjoy and see a film.
Not enough staff or clear Instructions on how to check in on prepaid tickets and which cinema. People just walking in.
All it would need for the fifth star is more cinemas with recliner chairs. Love the size of the screens l! Huge!
Titan luxe is great, big bright screen and loud sound. Good selection at the candy bar and comfortable recliners
Nice cinema, seats are comfy, only problem is the blue light to control them can be a little annoying sometimes
Always a good time. The cinemas are clean, staff are friendly, and they have popcorn. What more could you want?
It was really nice. Comfy chairs and great movie. Nice and clean a place I would recommend it for a good movie
Went to watch Avatar way of the water, cinema 3 row F , The only row seats 1to8 didn't work.. movie was good
Some fabulous Movies coming. I sit in my favourite seat so I can enjoy the experience. Then I'm entranced.
Great cinema, staff are really pleasant, seats are super comfy and reclining. Overall a great experience.
Always an enjoyable experience at Reading Elizabeth. Lovely staff & really comfortable seats …
Such a comfortable and relaxing cinema the seats are next level amazing definitely recommend it
Love the titan luxe cinema, and the bathrooms are always really clean which is a massive plus
Great movie theatre but prices are getting a bit high and my popcorn tasted stale and burnt
I just looked didn't have the money at the time but they helped me when I asked questions.
Went and saw Grand tarismo and sat in recliner seats. Nice and comfortable and great movie
Went on National Cinema Day!! Enjoyed it and all staff were super friendly and helpful
Mother and daughter date But daughter was too late to make the seat open and reline
Always great to take my granddaughter here. Easy access, friendly staff.
Great experience but your popcorn and drink specials are too expensive
Nice cinema, come early if you want anything from the snack bar
The Movie that my Son and I went to see was a very good Movie.
Friendly staff. Comfy seats and big screen. Highly recommend!
It's a shame not all cinemas have recliner seats like Hoyts
Great cinema, cheaper than Hoyts and Event cinema.
Comfy seats great sound and picture quality
Reasonable prices except food and drinks
Good time. Miss the $10 tickets tho
Decent sized cinemas, ok pricing.
Close to home. Seats were good.
Stairs have no handrail..scary
Pretty decent, friendly staff
Great staff the8r.
