Food and service in the restaurant (1st floor) was good. We had the nachos as a starter and the clam and fish chowder, the beef stew, a pizza and a burger as mains. Everything was fine and delicious apart from the burger which came really well done (a bit dry), better order it medium to be sure. More

A great spot for lunch, right around the corner from the Guinness brewery at Saint James gate. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food, especially the burgers. Things were relatively reasonably priced as well for the area. The service was also incredibly charming. More

The employees of this bar are absolutely wonderful! They served us food when their kitchen was almost closed because they knew we wouldn't find anywhere open. After touring the Guinness Storehouse one of us needed food immediately. Our dinners were delicious! Highly recommend!

It's definitely a locals bar. Our taxi driver took us there because we mentioned we avoid 'tourist traps'. It had a fun atmosphere & it was easy to strike up a conversation with the local patrons. It's tucked on a side street right across from Guinness. More

If you're doing the Kilmainham Gaol or Guinness Storehouse tours I highly recommend you walk over here! Pretty damn amazing beef & Guinness stew... The flavor was outstanding... Perfect for a dreary afternoon... Great service at the bar. More

Came out of the Guinness Storehouse with a few hours to spare before catching the coach back to the airport. Stopped in for something to eat and drink, very glad that we did, staff were very friendly, helpful and just overall very pleasant.

Stopped in last night after our Guinness factory tour. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was superb all 4 of us though it was fantastic. I happened to bump in to the chef after he had finished and thanked him for the great food

Stopped by for lunch before the Guinness storehouse. Bartender was friendly and funny. We ordered 2 pints of Guinness, a bacon cheeseburger, and ham and cheese melt with the soup of the day. Food came out fast and was very good. Would have

Been here twice. The last time in 2019, a beatdown occurred whilst we were having a lovely (best I’ve ever had) pint of Guinness. It was outside and blood spattered across a car, the bartender chased the man down with a bat an ran him off.

Visited 4th and 5th. September. Restraunt upstairs very smart and relaxing with lovely staff and fantastic food but be warned that the kitchen closes early around 7. Pub downstairs full of locals, all friendly and barmen friendly as well.

Food was excellent (I'd share a picture but I already devoured my toasty--toasted ham and cheese)! Visiting during lunch with my family, the upstairs room is tastefully modern and cozy. Staff is kind and helpful, and the food was brought

It is a very nice bar, a very Irish atmosphere, everything is homemade and tastes fantastically dangerous . The taste encourages you to have more and try more varieties of foods, the staff

We stopped by for a drink after we were in another pib nearby and id ordered a Guiness , was told that Harkins had the best pint of Guiness in the world, including that served at tue factory!

  • Cos Scarpa

It's a nice pub placed very close to the Guinness factory. There is a first floor with a classic pub atmosphere, and a second floor that feels private with more space available.

  • A Celt

As what the Americans call a 'neighbourhood bar', you can't beat Harkins for service, atmosphere and a host of friendly regulars. It's a cosy place, not large, but comfortable.

  • Gareth Rothwell

Absolutely a pleasure to be at this bar! Food is on point, Guinness is also on point as you’d expect next to the factory!! Staff are fab up for some banter! Defo worth a visit
