The wait staff were wonderful and very accommodating as we were a larger group. The atmosphere was nice and the food was decent. However if you’re a vegan and expecting their vegan menu from their website do not go here. We chose this place because they had a vegan menu options online, however when I mentioned I was vegan to two waiters they just directed me to options on the vegetarian part of the menu that could be modified. Normally this would be absolutely fine IF they didn’t have the vegan menu online. Obviously this is the not the waiters faults, if the management or kitchen have decided to not have the vegan menu available anymore they should remove it from the website. Again the waiters were very kind and helpful, food was decent, unfortunately not what was expected.

Went there to watch a match and I love the atmosphere and the staff was super nice and on time to ask for our order, specially the bartender there. He has the best attention to us but I gave 3 start coz the food is awful! We order a burger and steak and both meat were dry and has zero taste and the bread super dry as well!! And for the price, we were expecting something better ..... I know that it is an sport bar but I have been in couple of them around Dublin and have better food than here. I recommend the place for drinks and entertainment but not for food. Definitely go to another place first to eat and then go there to enjoy drinks .

If I could give this bar one star I would. The bouncer was so rude to us. It was lashing rain with 3 girls on our own. We were told the bar is closed even though it wasn't and we weren't allowed to even stand under the shelter to call for a ride home. He was cursing at us and we said we just need shelter for a minute. We said there's no need to curse at us. When we were walking away he said 'it's a generational thing'. No one was drunk, I don't even drink. A bouncer should never put girls in a dangerous situation looking for a way home on the street in the rain.

Absolutely love this venue. Staff are brilliant, food is delicious (& generously portioned) music is always very entertaining. & the drinks are always served really nicely in nice glasses. It’s perfectly located in Dame street with taxi rank at door. Staff are always friendly, helpful & in good spirits(excuse the pun ) managers Lucas & Eugene are great & Lee is a great barman who can pull the perfect pint of Guinness. Really spacious as there’s a numerous floors & any amount of TV’s showing all the sporting events. As I said love this place!!!

We didn't plan on going to Trinity bar, but as we were walking past heard a live musician (Scotty Connor as we found out), who was absolutely wonderful so decided to wander in. We were greeted by a lovely friendly barmaid and ordered drinks and food. Vegan/vegetarian nachos were grand. Scotty, the musician, was absolutely FANTASTIC, he made the atmosphere so incredible and did such a diverse array of music- country, blues, reggae, rock etc. We could not recommend this place more. What a wonderful way to spend our final afternoon in Dublin <3

It was a really nice place to visit and to eat something. The food was really nice. I got fish and chips and it was one of the better ones i ate in whole Ireland. The waiter we got was a very funny and nice guy. It is also a great place to watch some sports TV while eating. The only thing i didn't like were the toilets, there was no room and it was not clean.

We arrived off our flight hungry and in search for breakfast when we stumbled upon this place. Inside was very cozy and decorated beautifully for Christmas, with seating on three levels. The friendly staff too our order straight away and a full cooked breakfast was out to us in no time. The food was lovely (wasn't a huge fan of gooey black pudding but we figured that might be how the irish have it). The whole place was clean and tidy and the staff were very efficient. We would certainly eat here again on our next visit!

Since it was connected to our hotel (Dublin Citi Hotel) we ended up here a lot, but it was a great bar to hang out in, especially during St. Paddy's week. Service was pretty friendly and we enjoyed our pints of Guinness and the small Irish Breakfast I had there. During the day it's a nice quiet place to eat, drink or enjoy a match. During the evenings it can quite packed. This was also a great spot to watch the St. Paddy's parade!

Just stopped by this place to get some seafood chowder with a pint of Guinness. The soup was very tasty with big chunks of fish in it. For dessert it had to be Eton Mess, especially since not many places serve this dish - it was excellent. The service was very fast and friendly. I can definitely recommend this place.

I was very disappointed tonight because the bouncer was very rude! I was very excited to bring my three girls friends here and I told them it was a lovely place with great staff!! When we realised the bar was closed at 12 we asked can we call our lift under the shelter as it was raining and we were told we would take up too much space. And then the bouncer’s laughed at us in the rain and said we are a different generation. So disappointing.

Great atmosphere as the location lends itself to a constant stream of drop in business. Locals and tourists alike. Loads of space on multiple levels so it's easy to find a seat. Live music in the evening which was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly and came to the table for drinks orders regularly. Pricey enough but great crowd and excellent location. Would certainly return.

One of the best places for pub food in Dublin. Extensive menu. Had a fillet steak on the board, which was cooked to perfection, complements to the chief. Staff very pleasant, and efficient. Shay, my server very helpful. Very clean, and very table cleaned and disinfected very promptly when vacated. Lively spot, do show live matches, also have live music. Lovely outside area to watch the world go by. Highly recommend

  • Enakshi Chanda

Surprisingly it was a nice bar. The reason I said surprisingly is because it’s a sports bar and you don’t accept good food from a bar. But the vibe was good, food was very decent. Loved their carrot & scallions soup. The Mushroom burger was quite decent too. It’s a decent size bar with quite friendly staff. My husband loves football and was visiting Dublin for first time. Might go again for few matches later.

Temple Bar is a busy riverside neighbourhood, spread over cobbled pedestrian lanes. Crowded pubs host live folk music and DJ sets, and diners pack restaurants serving Asian, American and Irish cuisine. Quirky boutiques stock clothes and crafts by local designers. The National Photographic Archive highlights Ireland’s past, while the Project Arts Centre and Temple Bar Gallery + Studios shows contemporary art.

If I could review 0 believe me I would, my friend was assaulted in line and the security guard would not help nor let us in after because the situation was too ‘confrontational’. Tried to speak to the owner who began the conversation laughing in our face. Men defending man behaviour. don’t support this place

Smelled like sewage and Guinness was flat. Service was great though and kind servers. Great location and band was good. Decor and cleanliness of bathrooms could use some attention. Wouldn’t be on my list of places to go if visiting again. Didn’t have the food tho which may be attraction.

Ordered two pints (15 euros) before heading to the airport and paid at the bar, asked for a rockshore was given bulmers. We left to grab a taxi and a staff member chased us with card machine asking to pay our food and drink bill accusing us of theft. Don’t recommend.

Another nice place in the center. I do really like this kind of bars. Great guinness, also many other beers. Pitty that allmost all of them are just "euro" beers, but found one craft. The waitress could come more frequently, we had to wait a lot for another order asking.

I called in here for a quick pint today at lunch time. Staff were great in general and the service was efficient. The reason I'm leaving a one star review is due to the manager (well-fed looking gentleman) berating the staff members in the middle of the pub for something minor. Very unprofessional.

  • Jayney Clarke

What can I say. There are not enough words for how good this place is. Food and drink is amazing but what makes it special is the staff. Never have I met such awesome people who go above and beyond to make your visit memorable. Thank you, truly xx

A good place to go for a drink at night, with a good atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend going here for food as the quality is poor. I understand it's pub food but the quality just isn't there for the price you pay. Much better food places around with similar or cheaper prices.

This steak on a stone was outstanding for pub food. To the extent I suspect they be smuggling in USDA beef… Lovely food, friendly service and - yes - insufferable cliché that it is, the black stuff does taste better here…
