When it comes to all-around service, Hiller stands in a league of its own. From plumbing emergencies to electrical installations, they have consistently demonstrated a level of professionalism and efficiency that's truly commendable. I recall the Sunday when my basement was flooding due to a collapsed pipe. Hiller was quick to respond and even quicker to devise a plan, fully restoring our water supply in less time than they initially estimated. Their proactive communication was just the icing on the cake, making us feel at ease during an otherwise stressful situation. Moreover, the technicians, especially Allen and Daniel, have been fantastic. On one of the hottest days of the year, Allen was working tirelessly in our attic, not just doing his job but going the extra mile to clean up after. Daniel, meanwhile, was a true problem-solver when it came to identifying and repairing a leak. His patient explanations helped us understand what was being done, making us feel part of the process. I'm equally impressed by the email and call updates I've received throughout my experiences, courtesy of Steven, Scott, and Chris. It's rare to see a company so focused on keeping their customers in the loop. Not to forget technicians like Joshua Cook and Jordan Brown, who not only addressed our immediate concerns but also advised on preventive measures and future upgrades. Last but not least, the customer service from start to finish has been nothing short of amazing. The convenience of online scheduling and real-time updates (kudos to Nicole and Chanel for their professionalism) made each service call feel like a well-orchestrated performance. Update: Our home was re-plumbed by Hiller the end of October 2022. As of mid-January 2023, management has been in contact with us and they have inspected work that was performed by their employees (1/12/23); they have rectified all known plumbing issues (1/20/23). Unfortunately, the excessive drywall damage and damage to washing machine is our expense. I modified review from 1-star to 3-star. ******************************************************************* “Happy You'll Be or the Service is Free™.“ Not true! We have used Hiller in the past and have been pleased with their service. Hiller had done their annual plumbing inspection and never once stated their concern with the NIBCO, Inc. piping until the last leak occurred. After research, we discovered that there was a class action settlement against the manufacturer (NIBCO, Inc.). We knew the plumbing had to be replaced. We contracted Hiller to re-plumb our home thus removing the NIBCO, Inc. PEX piping. Numerous requests have been made for senior management to contact us to no avail. Not all of the NIBCO tubing was replaced, unnecessary drywall removal/damage, excessive drywall cutting, drywall debris left on top of upper cabinets, damage to top of front load washing machine & the list goes on! Please note, I only attached photos from one room…the laundry room. Now multiply that damage to three bathrooms and a kitchen.

They were wonderful. Chandler came out to do yearly inspection and everything was good. He was very nice and opened up the whole unit and said it was in good condition. We have a 2 visit inspection agreement with them to keep unit in proper running condition. He also went under the house and noticed some plumbing issues. He notified Anthony at Happy Hiller to come out and inspect what was going on. Anthony was wonderful and was here in no time flat. He's been here before to replace plumbing in bathroom. He showed me the Drainage Pipe that was not secure and had duct tape around it. And the intake valve needed replaced. He fixed it quickly and knows his stuff. Was with the work and service so I signed up to have plumbing inspected. House has put in it's time but need to keep it together. I've even had electrical work done by them, very good job. Love it. Thanks Hiller. Glad they have professionals working for them.

Hiller does a good job and their techs are always kind and professional. I didn't give 5 stars because the pricing is definitely high, and it was a little silly when the tech opened my outdoor fan unit to show me the caked dust/small debris over the filter, which was causing the fan and air to blow much slower. All it needed was to be sprayed with water, or gone over lightly with a wet rag over the coils (like a radiator coil). He could not do this for me without charging another $200. It was one flathead screw, already removed, panel off to show me, and he was holding his impact driver to cover the filter back up. That one was a head scratcher as it would have taken him literally 2-3 minutes to clean it off and took longer to explain it to me and remove the metal grate for me to see and then screw it back in, then it would have to simply clean it the first time he opened it. Odd.

The young man was very professional an attentive to our request. What was unusual was the lack of knowledge of the existence of a filter to the air conditioning unit. We were told that your company did not handle filters, and that is ok. Nonetheless, it seems unusual that when this type of service is done, the knowledge of a filter is not known. The customer should be advised of the need for replacement or not. A filter is an important part of the correct functioning of a unit, a lack of knowledge brings some doubt to the correct completion of the service. If we had not stressed the point that there was a filter attached to the air conditioning unit, we would have had an inadequate flow of air on a real hot summer’s season. Please note that we are very happy with the man who did the service, and would be happy if would return. Perhaps, a little training on filters would help.

This is probably the 5th or 6th time we’ve used Hiller, from small faucet and toilet repairs to big plumbing repairs. The repair people are always, communicative, knowledgeable and courteous. Awesome communication starts with the first phone call and continues through the whole process. Yesterday we had a window of 3-5pm and received a call letting us know our assigned repair person was going to be delayed as the prior job and repair was more involved than originally anticipated. Then, and this is what I loved, they told us the new window would be 4-6pm and ASKED us if the new time worked for us or would we need to reschedule. They gave us a choice, instead of just making us wait. Delighted with communication, repair recommendations and execution.

Happy you will not be and the service will not be free. If you value your time, money, good communication, and a company that will respect your property I would highly consider using another company. If you want a salesman to use fear tactics to talk you into spending a lot of money for their services and you don’t mind being disappointed with the end result, this is the company for you. In case anyone’s following… though Hiller responded to this review stating they would reach out and take corrective actions, they have not contacted me. I would encourage anyone who reads this to choose another company. If you choose Hiller, I’ll be here to commiserate with you once you have a personal experience with them.

Hiller is awesome. I've never dealt with an employee who wasn't friendly, professional, and super helpful. I'm on an extremely low budget, and Hiller has gone out of their way so many times to help me cut costs or even give me some services for free. You would think that if a company was cutting costs, they would also cut the quality of service, but no! They've given me the same high quality service they would give anyone else. I also get an education when their techs come out. They explain what they're doing, how things work, and they don't even act annoyed by me asking them. Great people, great service, and compassion for people in need? What's not to love? ❤️

Ask for David Cunningham by name. He spent a lot of time going through options till we found what would work for my situation. After I made my decision the install crew was out the next day . They corrected flow problems from previous installs, moved the heat pump away from the door so I wasn't smacking into it and placed it on a small elevated base. A lot of these things add up to a much better experience. Do yourself a favor and make sure Hiller is one of the companies you are reaching out to for your HVAC needs. No idea what they are feeding the employees over there but they really are a happy bunch who are knowledgeable, courteous, and will do you right.

We've used Hiller several times now, and they have always been phenomenal, so I figure I owe them a good review. Lol. This past Monday, we had our hot water heater replaced with a tankless one, and our pipes redone. Hiller was precise in their estimate, timely, knowledgeable, and made sure to leave our home as clean as they had found it. After the job was done, we were received a gift card from Hiller, that was totally unexpected and extremely generous. I was very happy that we were able to request our technician, and got to work with Tyson again. I look forward to working with them in the future, but hopefully not the near future!!

I was very pleased with Happy Hiller! I used the online app to schedule on Sunday, and the first available was Tuesday. But On Monday morning I got a call for an opening that afternoon! A plumber and his apprentice came on time with plenty of notice, including a picture so I knew who to expect. They diagnosed and fixed the problem within 90 minutes, and they were so nice! They had a good sense of humor, excellent technical skills, and left the space free of debris or mess. The cost was explained and reasonable. It was as good an experience as anyone can expect to have with a malfunctioning toilet! Thanks Steve and Stephen!!

Hiller was able to schedule an electrician quickly to come out to fix damage that was done by an installer that was out to supposedly install a dishwasher. The electrician came out, arrived early with my permission, did the work quickly and was very thorough in the work that he did and explained everything that he did so that I would understand it and could guide the person who would come out next to finish the installation. I recommend Hiller with no reservations, they were professional, worth the money, friendly, and thorough, and now I'm not worried about my house burning down while I'm sleeping.

Everyone was very friendly and kind throughout the entire process. My heat pump stopped working and I was very thankful that they were actually able to come and take a look at it the same day. I called three other companies and all were a multiple day wait. Zach was the technician that fixed the heat pump. Somehow both of the outdoor circuit breakers went bad and needed to be replaced. Zach explained everything he was doing and everything he found. Hiller will be my go to HVAC company in the future. I won't be calling multiple companies again. Hiller will be my first and only call.

Had them come out to snake my kitchen drain. $300. Tech said, "Well, I did the best I could." One month later, drain doesn't work. Told the pipes were cast iron...which, I suppose, negates any expectation of doing a good job. The cast iron section is about a foot long elbow. Called and told it would be another $300. In years past, the tech has gotten under the house to attack the elbow from both directions AND snake down the rest of the PVC. And, if we are careful, the drain runs for a good year. Not this go around. Not happy. Not free. Not good value. Piss-poor.

Friday of Labor Day weekend, I called @ 4:30am & scheduled appointment Saturday. The 2 technicians (Jerrit & Derrick) arrived & showed up on time given, Diagnosed the issue told me my control board was bad & they would have to order the part is not a everyday carry or have on hand part next business day they was back explained & described step by step to me what they was doing & gave me some knowledge on the unit I had. The service was great & friendly, they was also experienced on the work they was doing. I would recommend Hillers & those 2 guys for sure.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the service Hiller provides!!! I use them for everything!! This time it was installing a chandelier. I called in the morning and they came out to install within hours of my call. I had just received a new rug from UPS that was going in the same room. The technician immediately jumped in to help me move the table and get the heavy rug put into place. Helping me measure to make sure it was in the perfect spot! They go above and beyond every time they come!!! I could go on and on!!!

Blake ran into a couple of issues with my old water heater. What I really liked about his work under this circumstance, he worked the process. Meaning, he took the next appropriate step. When that step didn't solve the issue, he went to the next best step that did work. There were a lot of extra steps getting the old water heater out and the new water heater in, one being taking off the door to the closet where the water heater stays. I appreciate Blake's work effort and craftiness to get the job done. Well done!

I try to prevent problems that could pop up in my condo so Hiller does routine periodic HVAC inspections, and now electrical inspections. I am pleased with every service provided. The technician shows up on time (Hiller always confirms beforehand and sends texts with the name and picture of the tech when they are on their way) and they are professional and can explain what specific actions they are taking. Of course this maybe costs more than other companies, but the service provided is first rate and guaranteed.

I was quoted over $600 to install one electrical outlet in the unfinished storage area under my stairs. There was already an outlet on the other side of the wall that the electrician could tap into, so it wasn’t a complicated job. When I expressed my shock, he went outside to talk to his boss and miraculously came back at $300, half the price! Still on the high end according to average costs for the installation of one outlet in Nashville. I had him do the work, but I will never use this company again.

The professionalism of this company and technicians is nothing short of amazing! I mean you can track when your technician will arrive at your home. In a text message you received a photo of the technician. Once he arrive he immediately introduced himself and placed foot protectors on before entering my home. Explains everything, asked if there are any questions and proceeds to do an outSTANDing job. I highly recommend this company and please enroll in one of there three choices of maintenance plans.

Everything was great, very quick and easy. My only complaint was the lack of cleanliness of taking our old toilets out. I know my house isn’t the cleanest, I work full time and I am the maid as well, lol. I don’t feel like very much care was taken on keeping the nastiness of my old toilets from getting on other things. They were each set on a nasty old rag that the technician picked up and set on my sink counter (super yuck!!). But everything else was done quickly and I’m thankful for that.

My AC went out and I had called Hiller just from seeing them around town. The woman I spoke with on the phone was so nice and helpful, she was actually able to get me a same day visit from a technician. My technician arrived right on the dot at 3pm in the 3-5pm window and he was so respectful and nice. He walked me through everything he was going to do and what it meant. He gave me recommendations for future visits and was very nice! I ended up signing up for the Happy Hiller Club, too.

On Sunday, 8.20.23, we had to call Hiller due to plumbing problems...basement flooding out every time water was being used. They came out and discovered The cast iron pipe collapsed under the stairs in front of the house & said they could come back Monday morning to fix it but we could be without water for 48hrs. They arrived Monday morning around 10am and was completely finished by 3:30pm & we were able to use water! They are always very nice and respectful and do a wonderful job!

They were wonderful and I would highly recommend. Scheduling online was easy. They even called to let me know the technician was running a little behind and would arrive at the later end of the window given. I thought that was above and beyond given the fact he did arrive within the window. Jordan was nice, professional, and immediately identified my issue and had it fixed fast. I hope we will feel better about Hiller as our one year contract continues. Over the last two days they have inspected our HVAC and our plumbing. Each day the technicians did a sales job on us. Their prices are very high. I felt one salesman was disrespectful to me because I was a woman and he was putting pressure on me.The work they did seems fine. Time will tell. The bid they gave me for a tankless water heater was 38% higher than the one I purchased with installation.

We placed a service call to replace a bathroom sink that was dripping, and the faucets no longer worked properly. The main serviceman today was Greg Pontius. He arrived during the estimated timeframe and was extremely helpful in getting the supplies we needed for the job and explaining warranties, costs, etc. He was so nice and very dedicated to a couple of other small jobs we needed. I would highly recommend Greg anytime you need a repair or service call from Hiller.

We had a jumbled mess of an electrical circuit installed by someone I thought knew what they were doing. I tried to find and fix a short that kept occurring but finally realized that I needed some professional help. We called Hiller and they sent a technician named Roy. It was a holiday weekend and it was impossible to get a hold of anyone but HIller not only answered the phone but had someone out to my house within 5 hours!!! Once Isaac showed up, he quickly found the problem with the water heater. He removed the old unit with a sense of knowledge and professionalism. Dylen replaced a 3 handle faucet in shower with a single handle faucet. A stem broke in one faucet and was stuck in there. So glad I didn't have to hire general contractor to do prep work. He cut the tile wall himself and didn't need to replace any tiles. Cover plate covered the hole in wall. He did excellent job. He cleaned up after himself very well. Very professional. So happy with the work. I will do future business with Hiller for sure.

Excellent work! Not only did the technicians do a great job replacing a bunch of old cast iron and lead piping - including the main stack (old and new pictured) - they also walked me through their plans beforehand, complications and solutions throughout, and the all various components of the replacement/repair afterwards. This was a really big job, but the replacements/repairs were done efficiently and function perfectly. Well done!

Today we met Jenifer Kidd that works for hiller, it started with a plumbing check up and went through the house and fixed all that was needed, then we had a cracked pipe in the garage and we ask if this could be repaired and make it easier to get to when we need to use it! she is absolutely amazing! I have been a customer for long time and I get AC tune up and also Heat tune up every year. Today the gentleman was here for heat tine up and I asked him how much will it cost me to replace a thermostat that I had bought. We had two problems- a leak inside the house and a big leak outside. Outside problem required replacement of our waterline, which the team took care of in one day. Pretty amazing, and we were delighted to have water again.. The inside problem was partially resolved as good; a part is on order. We set a date for Tech to return. Really appreciated Hiller sending Shane out the day before Thanksgiving to save the day! We were preparing to host guests for the holiday and our kitchen lights went out. Shane showed up, found our switches to be faulty, and replaced them that day - all while I was in the space whipping up casseroles and desserts. He was so kind and helpful. Allen, our technician, was amazing! One of the hottest days of the year, he was crawling around in our attic, trying to install new LED lights in our exam room. Great service. The Tech was early and was very professional. Best thing was that they got me scheduled the next day after calling in with a heater not running and had the part on the truck to get the heater up and running in less than 30 minutes. My kitchen sink drain has been really slow and I just had the Hiller $99 special drain cleaning. Nicest plumber ever. He showed me where the main water shut off was for the house, and how to turn the hot water off if we have a leak, while leaving the cold water line open. He was terrific.
