Service is normally great I've just drawn into a few employees who seem to have that new generation mentality they're bothered because you're asking them to do their job and not even in a rude way but simply by showing up and asking for a cup of coffee. However normally this is well this is my go to by far to mention there's something for everyone here if you get hungry big or if you're with someone who doesn't want coffee and maybe once a alcoholic beverage or a pizza they have it! Multiple different levels tons of seedin both the coffee house and the adjoining rooms also upstairs . Great place to watch the World Cup get a cup of coffee meet friends meet the date just go get a cup of Joe for the morning whatever you want to do but I suggest at least taking one trip here and I bet it will become your spot the only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is because there is room for improvement in a couple areas however I don't want that to take away from the quality of the other people so Overall I would give it essentially a 5. However it is not cheap and for someone who is on a pretty tight budget like myself it's more of a treat than a daily thing but right now a lot of people who work and live downtown who'll go here religiously also like I said if you want to go work on some homework or something on your computer or just go sit and draw right relax read whatever it's A solid place worth checking out

I always come to Humble when I need caffeine and breakfast, I've noticed that some of the employees make matcha and coffee different. I amusually getting matcha and most of the time it's perfect but rarely do I ever not like it. I just got a mocha and I'm telling you its amazing, great service, great food, great atmosphere. Humble is my #1 coffee spot, I never go anywhere else lol. Humble us amazing and I love the prices! I am a high school student and everywhere I go drinks are $7-$12 . So these prices are perfect! And I love that they give out cards to get a free drink if you buy a certainamount, it is exciting and a great way to bring people back. Overall DEFINITELY check out Humble coffee you won't regret it. :)

One gal working hard at the counter this morning and despite the queue of customers, she did a great job of keeping things flowing. I ordered a cortado, which is supposed to be half espresso and half steamed milk. It ended up as more like a latte with a bunch of foamed milk, but still quite good. Out of breakfast burritos this morning though the pastries - including a GF donut - looked great. Wifi worked okay. A lot slow considering that there weren't very many other people here and no one else pounding away at their laptop.

Several months ago, I visited Albuquerque and had the absolute pleasure of drinking an espresso at Humble Coffee. Perfectly prepared and presented, it set a very high bar to which no coffee has since come close. So, when I found my father’s now dusty, single-pull Pavoni espresso machine in a back closet, I knew there was only one coffee worthy, and ordered a bag of Humble Coffee beans. Though I can’t yet match the expert pours of Humble’s professional baristas, the flavor is exquisite! If you live anywhere near Albuquerque, do yourself a favor and head to Humble Coffee. As Arnold would say, ‘do it, do it now!’ As for me? ‘I’ll be back!’

The barista was so astoundingly rude that I almost want to applaud her for at least breaking the mold. Everything from snarling at my questions, to throwing change at my hand, I asked for a drop off extra syrup and she kept pouring it in with this vindictive look on her face. I really tried to get a good rapport with her but it was hopeless. The London fog I had was aaite. They have donuts that cost OVER $4 EACH and taste mostly like baking soda. I didn't try the coffee but they get it from Slow Burn anyway so it's probably good, just that why not walk a couple extra blocks straight to the ACTUAL Slow Burn Cafe and have the greatest people in the city serving you instead.

Today 1/14 @10am, was my first time trying Humble Coffee and I won't be returning or recommending it to anyone. The earl grey tea I got, only tasted of black tea no bergamot and the breakfast burrito was mediocre and the tortilla was either soggy or hard. I threw half of it away. My friend ordered a lemonade & danish and she threw away half the Danish. The girl working the counter was aggressively making out with some guy across the counter the entire time. It was so unprofessional and disrespectful. I will stick to other local small shops with respectful staff.

This was actually a little difficult to find inside the food hall from the direction we entered. The only sign for the business is outside along Central Ave, but we entered from Fifth Street. We were there specifically for Humble Coffee, so we had to wander around until we found it. Once we did, we ordered sweet muffins and iced coffee. The muffins were really good!! I asked for my honey lavender latte extra sweet, and it definitely was not. But the woman working there was great and very personable. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and want some coffee.

I walked to this location since it was the only coffee shop open after 6pm. When I walked inside and looked at the menu trying to decide what I wanted, the barista girl asked in a blunt tone "Are you going to order?" And I answered "Yes." I got my order and left. No welcome greeting or anything...you're in the customer service industry ‍♀️.

Great downtown spot for a quick cup or to settle in with your laptop or for a meeting. It's louder since the food hall opened next door (connected from the front and back) but not in a bad way. Lavender syrup is a nice addition to a coffee or matcha latte, but their drip coffee is usually a nice light-medium local roast.

I always order my fave drink at new coffee shops as a baseline. The shop itself is cute and fun. There was only one person working the counter, so taking orders and making drinks made wait times a little long. Plus it takes away from customer service since that person is doing everything. As for the drink…bland. I don’t know what it was but the drink tasted like it had been watered down quite a bit. I’ll give them another shot since it may have been an off day.

  • Eddie_Spaghetti

A nice, chic coffee shop that gives off a modern vibe. The prices are a little on the high end but nothing outrageous. There's plenty of seating and the staff is all very friendly, including the owner. It was a nice discovery in a busy part of town. There's a few cafes along the route but this one stands out.

Cool coffee shop, locally made craft donuts, lots of space to hang out and really cool atmosphere vibes. Friendly staff... After drinking my latte and eating my donut, and just hanging for a while, the barista just offered me some drip coffee while I was hanging, super cool. This place is also connected to the 505 Food Hall thing, so plenty of other eats in this facility as well.

The atmosphere and service are top notch. So is the coffee and variety of drinks. My daughters loved the Chai and hot chocolate. The only thing is the burritos leave a lot to be desired. Besides the breakfast burritos, this is a great coffee house. Will go back for the lattes!

The cashier was short in her mannerisms and rude. Very dismissive and immediately engaged in a lively, enthusiastic conversation with the gentleman behind me. I was less than three foot away while they laughed and remarked about her interactions with me. All on all, first impression was: mediocre coffee and sub-par customer service. Thankful to not consider her or this business my 'local' coffee house

Beautiful and clean bright spot for coffee and pastries. Local sweets come from ABQ & Sante Fe. This part of downtown is rundown and kind of dirty so it was quite nice to stumble upon Humble. The interior is quite large, with some very creative vertical "bleacher" style seating. They also have community puzzles out on a couple of the tables. And of course the coffee is strong and well-crafted.

  • Harper O'Connor

unusual seating with the wood bleachers. Could use more pillows as my knees were aching after a while, but it did let I and my companion talk to each other face to face easier than across a table. nice people at the counter and very very tasty chai, nice flavor. I'll be back. EDIT: That "coffee companion" has become my significant other, so thanks for being a part of a good memory! :)

  • Gilbert White

Love the oat milk coffee at this place, but sometimes the baristas will burn the espresso and it makes the taste unpleasant. I’m a reoccurring customer, but honestly there’s only one barista who is nice to me. The others are usually rude and don’t treat me very nicely. I recommend Castle coffee just a few blocks away. They’re always genuinely nice and never burn my espresso drinks.

  • Luis Powell-Moreno

This girl was the embodiment of 505 Idiocracy. i ask if everything is ok because she seems out of it…after the third time of asking about the Lone doughnut behind display and wether it was fairly fresh…. about 15 seconds passes….. she FINALLY joins me back here on earth..with the blankest look on her face..and says she’s distracted……anything else? yeah no thank….never again

  • Chris Schutte (Shopping Bag)

Great little coffee place inside the 505 Central Food Hall that has well-made coffee drinks and delicious baked goods. Plus the space is roomy and interesting, with an interesting stadium style wooden bench area. Great cup of hot Joe and conveniently located in the middle of downtown ABQ.

If you've ever been to this coffee shop's first location, then you know that this company focuses on a simply fantastic fun atmosphere and great coffee. This new location is no exception. The employees as per usual are polite and fast, the coffee is just as good, and the spacious sitting area is brightly decorated in a fun way. I love this place!

  • Kenney Phillips

Loved the atmosphere and aroma from the second I walked in the door. The staff was warm and welcoming. They were able to answer all of my menu questions with ease. The dark roast coffee I had was great, and so was the blueberry lemon scone. So happy I found this place on my first morning here and will definitely be coming back before I leave.

  • Wendy Linebrink-Allison

Humble Coffe Downtown has great drinks, good music, friendly staff and customers, easily accessible plugs and free WiFi. A good place to grab a drink and go, or hang out for a few hours. But bring a sweater as it was a bit chilly in there..... And the walls could use some art (I wasn't digging the ambience like I do at the Lomas location)

  • Nicholas Pooran

Warm and welcoming staff. House made flavor syrups and generous with the espresso. Mellow R&B and bright decor. This is what a neighborhood coffee shop should be. I had the medium almond milk latte with house made vanilla syrup. Used the yelp check in for a free syrup. Medium has 3 shots of espresso and the flavor is not too sweet.

  • Crystal Luna

Worst coffee ever! Went in for a white mocha with carmel, to my surprise they didn't have white chocolate or Carmel. So we decided to get a drip coffee, and ended up at Love's truck stop! Maybe it's an acquired taste, but it's definitely not for us!

This is such a cozy coffee shop with a wonderful atmosphere. There are plenty of coffee and tea options along with an array of pastries to choose from, especially if you have dietary restrictions. The staff is warm and friendly and I enjoyed every bit of my experience here. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town.

  • Jordan LeMay Zilavy

Great coffee shop with delicious pastries. I deduct stars due to the extremely long wait times for drink orders. I understand they’re made to order drinks but I have had to leave the shop on multiple occasions due to how long I was waiting.

Traveling through from Colorado, stopped in randomly, soooo glad i did. Great coffee, great breakfast burrito, great atmosphere, great service. It was so good we cam back for lunch and had just as good a time. Katie at the counter is super friendly and super cool. If im ever in Albuquerque again i am coming here.

  • Adam Frank

Surprisingly, I didn’t know this location existed prior to today. I am so glad that I found it though! The atmosphere was really nice and quiet, the staff was very friendly, and my matcha latte and lemon bar were phenomenal! I will definitely be visiting this spot much more. Thanks for a great experience! :)

  • Nora Vanesky

definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in town!!! the place is so cool just being inside, the barista tend to be really nice, theres always space to sit and work. dont get the chai, it tastes like straight up milk every time ive ever gotten it but everything else is great lmao

  • doug fm

When I’m traveling for work, I try to try out some ‘good’ local coffee places. I mean, if I can’t find anything I’ll go to Starbucks. Went to humble coffee this morning, driving by at least 3 Starbucks, any of which would’ve served better coffee, with better service than “humble”.

  • Nadine “Renaissance Woman” Nagamatsu

Great meeting & work spot! Service is sweet, but not that "with it"...if someone specifically is asking for non-dairy options...maybe don't recommend all dairy having options. Luckily the coffee speaks for itself and the location vibe is on-point for a downtown hipster stop.

  • Jen Lucero

Very spacious. Good place to meet up and get stuff done . The barista gave me the last drop in the canister and it was kinda cold. So coffee was not that great, maybe you'll think of customer next time. Might try fresh espresso next time. Staff was a bit stand offish

  • Fairy Ring Dancer

They have a vegan breakfast burrito! Made with 'Just' egg, Daiya cheese, hash browns and green chili it's good and I'm picky. They offer non- dairy alternatives and a very chill vibe.

Really good fresh coffee & espresso drinks. Staff is always accomodating & friendly. It is large & roomy, with little extraneous noise, which is good for carrying on conversations, yet not bother neighboring tables. Only wish they had a larger pastry selection.

Really cool atmosphere and good coffee!! I had a coconut milk latte which was definitely made with very full fat coconut milk. Perhaps the canned kind. It was good, but a little to heavy for my coffee preference. Still would highly recommend this coffee shop!

  • Mrs. E.

Lovely spot to grab coffee while traveling. Easy to find and the vanilla latte was top notch. If your not into higher end, strong coffee then this spot might not be your thing. Staff was friendly and locals were less so but that isn't unusual. Give it a try.

I’m new in town and have been looking for all the cute places. Humble is beautiful, lots of parking options nearby, barista was so so kind and helpful, and there is plenty of seating! Oh, and their iced lattes are delish …

  • Marcus Fryer

Good coffee. Multiple time I’ve come here and there’s just one employee. Don’t stop by for a quick coffee. It takes forever for one person to ring up customers and make the drinks. Even a short line takes forever.
