When my father passed sooner than we thought, we showed up at Hustad Funeral Home next morning and was greeted and helped immediately by Scott Logan. Very compassionately and thorough on what we needed and needed to do. We had to have him transported down to California. Scott was knowledgeable on the correct way for this to happen. Even though we did not have my father's DD214, Scott was nice enough to include the flag in with his coffin during his flight. We could not of asked for a better Funeral Home than Hustad. I am really glad we happened to call Hustad. In the middle of the night they responded quickly and professionally and were caring and professional all the way through the process. It is a small, family-run operation -- basically two guys who are always available -- not an impersonal or overly formal business. Tony handled our family and was considerate and caring without being artificially somber. It felt very personal and easy to work with them. Not that you are likely to plan this stuff out ahead of time, but I would recommend using them when you find you need it.

When my daughter unexpectedly died, Scott Logan and his staff were exceedingly helpful, respectful and ready to support my wishes for simplicity, for anointing and dressing my daughter for her journey and for time with her body. From the moment I contacted Husted until Scott personally delivered my daughters final death certificate, six months later (because we had to wait on the results of a toxicology report), I felt completely safe, knowing I was in the hands of compassion and so very taken care of. Thank you.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! We planned on going with a place closer to our house but quickly changed our mind after stopping by and being with Scott. He helped me and my niece do her mom's funeral. We were in total shock and he was so patient and kind. Helped us with everything and found a really good celebrant to do the service. Thank you so much for making this process as easy as possible.

My husband lost his brother unexpectedly, we were absolutely devastated by the news. We were just numb and didn’t even know where to start or who to turn to because he lived out of state. I called Hustad Funeral Home and spoke to Scott. He was so compassionate, caring and professional. We new we had made the right choice for our loved ones arrangements and we are so grateful for your help.

Scott and his team are absolutely wonderful. They replied very quickly to our after-hours inquiry and were very helpful with our situation that was a bit complicated due to traveling and the holidays. Dealing with the passing of a loved one is very, very, very hard, but having a compassionate service provider made such a difference in our ability to focus on mourning the loss.

Hustad is great. I really appreciated Hustad's help with the whole process. I felt they just stepped up and took the lead and made a difficult task easy by handling all of the details involved. I highly recommend Hustad. Though I certainly hope I do not have to any time in the near future (!), I would definitley use them again.

When my husband was placed in hospice, the first thing Scott Logan said, "we will take care of everything" and they did just that. He listened to what I wanted/needed, didn't pressure to do anything more, and made the whole experience easy and heartfelt. Could not have asked for anything more.

Scott Logan has now provided service after the passing of 2 of my family members. He is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and always respectful. I would recommend his services. We also held a Celebration of Life at the home, and it was a great venue for that.

Hustad was great in arranging for a simple cremation. Scott was very personable and professional to work with. The pricing on their website is transparent so you can learn about options, and they are happy to answer questions.
