I went to see movie Venom on 06 October 18. The sound was EXTREMELY loud, like even over the top for normal hearing. Most of the viewers held hands over the ears when we watched it. Isn't there somebody who should regulate the sound prior to screening? Couple of months back when movie Wonder Woman was showing it was very quiet, we could barely hear actors converse. Also, air in the room smelled stale and was low oxygenated so it was very hard to breathe. There was also some dead pixels on the screen that distracted me during the movie since they were bright green and stood out way too much.

I really like this cinema. There is plenty of parking because it's beside the Omni SC. There are also plenty of places to eat either before or after the film, which makes it ideal for when we want to treat the kids. The cinema itself is very clean and the staff are friendly. They also have some very good midweek deals and family tickets too. The Galactic screen is fantastic - especially when seeing action films like Star Wars or any of the Marvel ones. The seats are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this cinema.

Staff here are great and always helpful. Have been going here for years and never had any issues booking tickets or with any of the screenings. Can be busy on premier nights with a queue out the door, but that's to be expected. Popcorn and drink combo is reasonably priced but would recommend the Wednesday night special deal which works out much cheaper. Also has a few restaurants and shops beside it, so if you fancy grabbing a few sweets or a meal beforehand you have that option too.

Went to see Avitar, the way if water. The cinema was pleasantly warm and the seating was very comfortable. Just as well, as the film was 3 hours & 20 minutes long! The film was so good that the time flew by. Their are no breaks in the film so plan your snack strategy well! Their was ample room in the large car park in front of the cinema. They have a wheelchair ramp also. Staff are very pleasant and helpful and assist you if you have someone with special needs.

Lovely staff but they need to sort out the queue situation! You have to allow for a 20 minute queue if it's in any way busy. And then the queue for the tix and the food is the same queue, so even if you've booked online, ye still have to queue with all the other people buying tix anway? Just get ticket dispensing machines and have a separate queue for just food... also... Big lines and marks on the screens and it can get VERY loud in there...

When myself and my friends went to get our tickets checked the man who was checking them changed his tone completely and told us not to talk during the movie quite rudely, however he said this to no one else there. We had done nothing except quietly buy our tickets. We were offended by this employee's attitude. However, the movie was good and the cinema was clean, we enjoyed the experience except for this one incident.

Screen 11 is slightly damaged at the bottom and it's annoying when trying to watch a film. Don't go into screen 8 it is the worst screen in Ireland. The best screens are 1 to 5. The other screens are smaller but okay to watch a film on. There is an extra charge to go to see a film on the big screen. I don't think it is worth the extra charge. The cinema is too black and dark for my taste.

This cinema is so bad that my ice cream is not even cold they don't give u the right seats that u wanted people are saying that u can sit where ever u want and I asked for nachos and thay didn't give them to me this cinema is horrible the speakers are incredibly loud in at the start of the movie and I already have a big head ache the screen quality is horrible too

A very nice Multiplex with at least 10 screen. Went to want a movie here and the experience was good. It’s in the same complex as Omni Shopping venue and hence it is quite nice to go in a watch a movie, shop around for sometime and return. The theatres are well maintained and the place is neat, nice and tidy. Would recommend anyone to go for a show here.

Good cinema for a quick visit. Can have some not-so-clean moments; doesn't necessarily reflect on staff, usually related to children's movies finishing. Food & snacks quite expensive and they don't always have a wide selection. However, movies are up to date and they have a number of theatres so they have a wide selection of movies all year round.

The only thing it needs is security guards. There has been alterations were I've seen cinema goers butt heads.. I remember also a girl leaving the cinema in tears because some travellers were throwing stuff at her and calling her names... great staff always friendly, and they are not paid enough to have to be dealing with that.

  • Gav Butler

Local cinemas don’t come any better than this one. Friendly staff , great sound in the galactic theatre when you got to see the latest and want to add some serious ooomph to the experience . And this cinema is always spotless. Not to rebook their infinity card deal that you get to see a movie a day for less that €20 a month.

  • Nicola McCann

We had a party of 8 kids today attending the cinema, they all had their pocket money and were very upset that you do not take cash. I understand with covid that some companies prefer card payments but to completely deny a cash payment was very upsetting for the kids. Very disappointed. They will not return there again.

  • Pat Mulligan

We were in screen 11, the cinema was cold, the screen was small and the image was dark. There was a blurred edge on the left hand side of screen. It was expensive compared to other cinema's. I usually go to Charlestown or Sword's Pavilion, which are a much better experience. I will not be coming back to the IMC Santry.

  • Michael Martin

Cinema is not clean, popcorn was stale and stupidly overpriced...€4’ for a small bag for a child..& the other sweets from the drinks to the packets of Maltese’s etc were €4.50.. best to shop next door at Dealtz !!! Nearly €40’ for 2 Adults , 1 child (3) and small bag of popcorn !!!! RIPOFF IRELAND IS BACK & SMILING !!!

  • Dean Creed

Absolute joke of a cinema! Staff no help whatsoever, more interested in what’s on there phones and to not accept cash by rules of management even after “covid” restrictions been lifted..?? Also there’s no mention of “CARD ONLY” payments on website which is no help to customers wanting to buy tickets with cash..

  • Schwifty Ful

Just been there and had to walk out after 5mins Res was an issue and only two speakers that where on. Sound was hardly there. So low that I could hear other people eating from the back row all the way to the front. Any sound effects where non existent. My TV at home has better sound and quality. Such a shame

  • Proper GAA head

A fine picture house. The selection of sweets is awful though, but that's great, because aren't they overpriced? They would have all the latest films on inside there. The toilets are a bit manky though. And the small tot got an awful fall off the right high sofa thing there inside in the reception.

  • Nadia Maples

I work for a disability service and the staff opened early for us with a private screening. I cannot express how lovely and welcoming they were. Our group had an amazing time and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Big applause to you all and thank you for making a bunch of people very happy!

  • Jacqueline Clarke

Went to cinema here lastnight and all i can say, popcorn was so hard nearly broke my tooth, seats where very uncomfortable with very little leg room. Then was about 15min before movie finished they put on lights. Was like they last orders in bar. This ruined the end of movie for us …

  • Nelli Vitorino

Friendly environment. Staff well informed and everyone has a smile on their faces which is very welcoming. Popcorn is fresh… The screens are clean and they waste time, whenever the movie finishes the cleaning team comes very quickly to prepare the screen room for the next slot. 10/10.

  • Linda Byrne

Ridiculous cash not acceptable at IMC Omni PK. This has been the practice last two years, because of covid. Seriously time to follow government guidelines! I had to leave yesterday, and go elsewhere, with my young son, simply because they refused cash!!! I mean, is this even legal??

  • Sonya

I'm gutted!!! The Wednesday deal of 5euro per adult is over! I really enjoyed going here after work on Wednesdays. Inflation is going up as each day goes by, yet, wages are not budging! Everywhere I go prices are increasing. I won't be returning to santry IMC regularly anymore …

  • Natanya Comerford

Great way to spend your day, ,adults price of 12euro 10 euro for children cheapest place I've noticed in Dublin 9 and areas of Dublin city cente, nice staff they have lot's of screen some small rooms lots of seating, plenty of toilet no waiting in line , Deals on treats

  • Cormac Murphy

Cinema is well laid out.. bathroom is always clean. Fantastic sound in the cinemas..great size and comfortable seating with ok legroom. So if you're tall might not be so good.. overall it a good experience. In most cinemas the food is always over priced and over sized..

  • S Suillin

just to respond to someone else here below, cashless was never about the pandemic and its the very same complaint I have. I don't care if its coming from the top down, imposing cashless was an obvious plan that's been coming down the tracks and it's wrong.

  • Jay Kay

Lovely place that can accommodate the fam, leave her to do the shopping and sneak off for a couple of hours and drag the the kids, win win IMO.. just even to Eddie Rockets before or after, and then hook up for the boisterous trip home, put your buds in :)

  • Laura Andras

It's a sweet, local, not too crowded cinema, it's small but they have good snacks, and nice staff :) Would recommend if you want to watch in a quiet room because there aren't much people (compared to the huge cinemas in the city centre anyways)

  • C H

Nice friendly staff, everywhere was spotless clean, the lady (spanish maybe) taking the tickets was constantly cleaning and checking floors etc. If only all customers could show some respect and clean up after themselves. Well done great work.

  • Tobi

We chose the student meal Deal for 10€ popcorn, softdrink and Ticket. We were really happy with this deal! The price performance ratio was perfect! Really nice experience. The cheese dip was out of order that was a little bit sad also was

  • Jimmy Costello

Love it here!! Close by and always friendly staff who help out if your stuck with a film choice to watch. Their number 1 screen is huge with loads of space inside. Always pretty clean and have a weird range of movies on offer for all ages.

  • Anna N

We always go here, good deals, best popcorn I ever had in cinema. Super comfy chairs and good sound quality. Kind staff, always ready help if needed. Near parking spots with wheelchair or normal spaces. I would highly recommend IMC Santry.

  • Daniel Egan

Excellent value compared to going outside of the kids club. There is plenty of parking outside the cinema and its a great time that they have the kids club on as not too early so you have time to get up and get the kids brekkie in 1st.

  • Kev O

Went to see Dune in screen 3. The image was completely washed out for the darker scenes and was also obscured by the glow of the bright exit signs on the left of the screen. Feel screens need upgrading to compete with IMAX cinemas.

  • Sarah Burke

Haven't been here in years. A little bit more expensive than other cinemas but worth it. Comfy Seats, feels a little more spacious. Very well kept and clean. Would be happy to travel the extra distance to see another film here.

  • Dave Egan

Good cinema, they do a Discount Wednesday, Adults tickets are €5 instead of €10. Kids club is on Saturday and Sunday, €3 per ticket for adult or child. If you join IMC club online, you can also get an extra 10% off all tickets.

  • Stephen B

I was scared when they turned the lights off because i am scared of the dark. Rumour has it they butter there popcorn too much too give they're customers death n balls. Will go again too watch the new movie about movies

  • david O Reilly

Booked the wrong picture online arrived and the Staff happily fixed my error without any fuss ,Toilets Spotless Staff helpful good place to bring disabled people Ramp beside car park and Disabled parking well designed

  • Mandie Farrell

Not happy with the experience in the Omni Cinema especially with the Nachos only coming with a Spicy Cheese Sauce or A Salsa which is not great when children won't eat them, A better Idea would be a plain cheese sauce

  • Maria Breen

Really nice staff. The actually have butter for the popcorn . I was with my Mam and daughter. My Mam is on a walker so not good on her feet. There was plenty of room on the low seats for her. Very comfortable . …

  • Ian Kavanagh

Flat drinks, burnt popcorn and poor noise isolation. I wouldn't recommend going here. Particularly when they all cost so much you'd be better off going elsewhere. There are better cinemas not too much farther away.

  • Stephen Lafferty

Had a decent experience. Staff were very nice and followed covid protocols well. Place was exceptionally clean and screen had great sound system. Popcorn mediocre and overpriced but overall an enjoyable night out.

  • Jana Gintovt

Fantastic place! kids love it. Huge parking. We went on the first session, we were first and all hall was for us))) got loads of stuff to eat and had a movie in private. children tried all the seats. happy days)

  • Philip Downey

Nice cinema with plenty of screens. Popcorn was good. Long wait to buy ticket and popcorn. Ended up in a small screen with about 29 seats. Strange feeling watching a summer blockbuster on such a small screen.

  • Thayse Marques Passos

Nice cinema, apart from the small screen rooms which have no inclination, so all the seats are at the same height level. The food there is overpriced. Popcorn is soggy and coke is watery. Free parking!

  • Ailín Ó Dúnlaing

First visit yesterday, lovely little cinema. Very clean and well kept. A real credit to the staff working there. However literally half (and I counted) of the audience talked through the whole film.

  • binu vasu

Pros: Clean, not over crowded, plenty of parking, friendly staff, seating is clean and comfy Cons: Limited space in the foyer, Small screens, Audio quality could be better( sub woofer distortion)

  • Christina Boland

Great cinema . Do deals on wednesdays instead of €12 andults it €7 half price . Good treats for the children . €4.50 deals they get popcorn . Bar . Drink .but most people bring their own treats

  • Daniele Donato

It not to far and the screens are decent enough. Buying tickets online can be big benefit cost wise. If you are a 3 customer you can get 2 for 10 through your 3 plus app Sunday to Thursday.

  • Linda G Keitasha

We visited this cinema for the first time, friendly staff very helpful. Affordable tickets, good value on drinks and treats. Parking right outside the cinema. I would highly recommend!!!

  • Laura Lee

Great cinema, staff are nice and are very helpful. the only thing I don't like about it now is after covid they will only accept card payments, no cash what so ever! that's a bummer

  • Marian O'Leary

Very nice multiplex cinema complex, seating is very comfortable with good leg room. Toilet facilities are excellent and parking is good. Disabled and elderly people are catered for.

  • M L

Cinema is small but very clean and well compact. They do really good student deals which I was surprised about. A movie, drink and popcorn all for €10 very good deal. …

  • Kevin McMuhammad

Not to happy with them because they don't take cash, I was there with the grandchildren and had to leave and drive out to Ashbourne Cinema instead, but enjoyed the movie anyway

  • Philomena Langley

Lovely cinema. Peter rabbit was grand for 7 year old granddaughter. V. Clean. Many years since ive been to cinema and was shocked at the prices. 28€ for 2 adults and a child!!!

  • Lorcan O'Toole

New Galactic screen (1) is bigger than the others with great sound. Seats are generous and comfortable but do not, as advertised, recline. A slightly better cinema experience.

  • Eve Clarke

Lovely cinema, always have the latest films. The staff are lovely and keep the place spotless. WEDNESDAY, they have special offer of €5 great for an enjoyable cheap night out

  • Lyndsey Doyle

Great cinema! Really clean and they are upgrading all the time - great to see. Staff all lovely and very polite. Would definitely recommend a visit. Also cheaper than Odeon.

  • Matheus

Nice and well maintained, facilities are impressive and better than most popular ones, always offering a great selection of movies, good audio levels and affordable prices.

  • D W

Very clean. Staff are always friendly. Decent selection of snacks. My only fault with this cinema is that the popcorn can be a little salty. Screens are marshalled well.

  • Craig

Great to see you finally accept cash once more. Went to see The Marvels yesterday. Had a good time, popcorn and drink were nice, seats comfortable. Great time was had.

  • The Edscape

First time since the massive refurbishment. I'm in the Galactic cinema waiting for Blade Runner 2049. The place looks fabulous and is huge. Staff are really nice too.

  • Brandon Dunbar Doyle

One of the best cinemas on the north side of Dublin. 11 screens, good selection. Good deals on snacks and cheap entry depending on day of the week and movie type.

  • Ray 'gofundme' Shannon

Why are charging €1 to book tickets online. Instead I had to queue for 10 mins while 2 staff served popcorn. Kop on to yourselves and get rid of the fee.
