Placed an order online, received parcel here in Adelaide, with a couple of missing items worth $100!! The delivery note, tracking, internal invoice and online account, all stated each item was picked and fulfilled. I only received one tracking number, and only said box 1 of 1, yet missing items wouldn't even fit in the box. No clue how such a huge error was overlooked, especially with them being itemised and Qty checked. Anyway, I tried to contact the main jbhifi number with no luck, and their online chat.. however, kept getting Queued for 29+ ppl, waiting several hours to get down in the line, only for them to close off chat when I was finally 3rd or 4th (two days in a row!) with a "we are now closed". I just could not get through. I had also written to customer support... Of which didn't get back to me within over a week (once it was already sorted) and their only advice, was what I decided to do in the first place. I took the initiative to contact the store it said it came from on the box. To inform them of the missing items, explained box size, etc Well, the "Doncaster" store was great! (missing a review star - for whomever initially didn't pack the order properly in the first place), but "Fiona" from this store, was amazing!!! - not only did she look into what had happened, found the goods in stock still, spoke with the first packer, organised their proper delivery.. she also called me back personally, to confirm that she had packaged them well and securely, and that I'll definitely receive them. I got them today, and it's the first time items from JBHIFI have come packed well and perfectly (as they usually have no packaging materials inside at all, just items bouncing around inside, becoming squashed usually). "Thank you, Fiona! I truly appreciate all your help and fantastic service. And you should be rewarded, for being the BEST employee and friendliest customer service of ANY Jbhifi store I've ever had to deal with!" (and I've been buying from them/dealing with their issues, for yeearsssssssss).

honestly worst shopping experience of my life - bought a set of airpods in store through afterpay - the transaction went through twice on my card which i didn’t realise until id left the store - i came back and the poor kid behind the register who obviously had not been trained properly by the management - didnt know what to do so i had to wait by the side for a good 20mins - i spoke to the first manager, who i assume was the 2IC and he was extremely rude and dismissive. he went and got the actual manager, Song, who spent the next HOUR. hour. arguing with me in front of everyone. was extremely rude and then made fun of me several times during our conversation. i ended up having to lodge a complaint through jfhifi and it took me weeks to get my refund back when they could’ve done it in store. i ended up calling head office as well and they told me what he didn’t wasn’t right. i rung the store multiple times to get them to action the refund and they wouldn’t until WEEKS later. this store is a mess . the management is rude and honestly ive read comments here that detail similar situations - Song doesn’t know what he’s doing!!!! neither does anyone in the store. god help the kids they’re training for christmas because they’ll need it. do not shop here, literally go to myer instead.

Excellent customer service from Jason. We upgraded my wife's S20+ to the brand new S21 as it's lighter for her wrist when holding for long periods. JB now has a great deal where it is only $549 for a new 128GB Samsung S21 phone, down from original price $1349. Also the deal allows you to have $10 off per month for your phone plan, from $69 to $59 and 60GB plus 20GB extra 5G data per month, with only a 12 month contract as opposed to 24 months. Don't worry, if you go over the 80GB, it goes to free unlimited data at 4G speeds. We felt it was really worth is as the discounted $59 phone plan is worth $708 over 12 months. They have applied a $700 gift card with the discounted price for this new phone so you are basically gaining a whole year's phone coverage with 80GB to unlimited internet for just $8 a year on a brand new phone. If you are looking for an upgrade, this is definitely a great hot new deal and well worth it.

Very bad customer service, especially the sales manager Shota!!!!!!! That is the worst customer service that I have experienced at JB hifi. I came to pick up preorder game for my partner as my partner was unable come in person. I showed Shota my partner’s photo ID and the receipt but Shota refused to give me the name and he ask me to purchase another game today then can refund the preorder one when my partner can come in person. Then I showed my own ID which has same address as my partner he still refused to give to me ?? WHAT IS THE POINT?? Then he asked me to let my partner to send him an email to prove that I CAN pick the game. I really cannot understand this. I ask to talk to his manager and he said he is the manager for this store which is NOT true. I’ll write a complaint letter to this especially complaining SHOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told to wait till the next staff can serve me. I stayed. However, people who strode in after me were served. The security was then suspicious of me waiting there for a while and then enquired "if everything was okay". Then they asked someone to help me out. I cannot assume and accuse you of treating me poorly because of the way I look, but a morsel of kindness to people will go a long way. Also, the JB staff are not inclined to have a word with the customer. "Negotiable deals are part of our everyday promise." But the staff rush you to move on... There is a very good reason why people gravitate towards purchasing online and avoid the brick and mortar stores. Last-minute gift shopping is one of the reasons why you are still in business, else you will be just a glorified pickup spot. Train your staff to be considerate.

Took an Apple item in for a repair (in warranty period). After telling me it’s a 6 week turnaround (fine) it took 6 weeks. However, the repairer did not get the product sent to them for 2.5 weeks after I dropped it to the Doncaster store AND it had been repaired in 3 days by them, but JB hifi Doncaster gave me nothing but excuses when I enquired at the 4 week mark. They basically lied and said they were waiting on the repairer. I will go direct to the authorised repairer with any problems in future. If you can’t provide a decent aftersales experience when there is an issue then don’t sell the product. I can’t comment on other stores only this one - for the sake of clarity the repairer is in mount Waverley so you could’ve walked the items there faster than JB Doncaster sent them.

Just very disappointed Bought a robotic vacuum and only 4 months of using it and it was not working . Bring back for the repair and 20 days later pass by the store and thought I would check if it is ready. The girl at counter was keep questioning about the time that I lodged the repairs. Turn out she was wrong and she make me feel like it was my fault to have a faulty product. I am happy to wait but not been treated with no respect from a customer service person. By the way really the quality of the product is terrible.we paid $1500 for a microwave and robotic and a watch. Microwave light burns 2 months after we purchased,Robotic vacuum doesn’t work properly after 4 mths . You will be treated really nice when you buy but just don’t have any after sale issue

An excellent customer experience at JB Doncaster (2/8/23) and would like to thank James for his professional customer-service and customer-relations skills. After an average/disappointing experience at the Apple store, I went to JB with my specific request that would not be met by Apple. James took time to answer questions, and was able to assist and meet my request (unlike Apple). While the store did not have the specific model/specifications I was after in stock today, he spent time contacting a number of other stores and offered a range of other options to speed up supply. Many thanks James.  I see you as a benchmark for other salespeople (at JB and other mega retail stores).  I hope management recognise his professional skills.

Ordered a TCL mini LED TV 75” in November and said it’s going to be delivered beginning of January to be find out it won’t be delivered until end of March. Store manager and the sales team is hopeless finding the details of when they are going to receive stock. Called TCL directly to find out when’s the next shipment coming to VIC for backorders. So there’s only 27 TV’s coming In January and the rest is coming end of Feb. With the shipping delays and other circumstances you won’t be able to get your TV till middle of march or end of march. Managers in store don’t know what they are even talking about matter of fact they don’t even know the supplier. Please provide proper training to your staff and managers.

Although certainly more cramped than other JB stores, due to its 'bottleneck' entry, Doncaster is always reliable in terms of getting anything I may need from JB at any given time. A particular shoutout to Casey at the Microsoft Computers counter, who was charismatic and helpful when I was seeking advice on a new computer, as well as Sean G, who was equally fantastic, repeatedly dealing with my frugal ways (and multiple visits) to secure the best price for said computer, as well as providing additional assistance in terms of comparison with other devices and information during the particularly busy Christmas rush. Management should at least give these gentlemen a pat on the back, if not a raise!

I got recommended a wireless charger from one of the customer service representstives, mentioning that I could refund or exchange the product if it doesn't work with my Android phone. I purchased it to try and after 5 minutes of finding out it wasn't the right product for me I came back to the registers for a refund and another representative said I couldn't refund the product because it wasn't deemed faulty with his personal device thus making it un-refundable. Even though I was form and reinstated what the first representative told me, he told me in an aggressive tone that wasn't the case and stood back like it wasn't his business. It was unprofessional and very miss leading.

No Sale! I went to JB Hi fi to buy an iPad keyboard which I saw online at the JB Hifi Web site. When I went into the store I could not find where the keyboards were so I asked one of the shop assistants. He showed me to where they were (the bottom shelf near the iPads) and then said one of the other two team members would assist me. I waited for 15 mins and there was no assistance so I left the store. This was at 9:15am in the morning where there were only a couple of customers in the store which I found surprising. In contrast I went to Officeworks straight after this and was served by a lovely assistant with great help and I bought what I wanted.

Considering it was just after xmas and before the new year when we went it only took 10minutes to get help. The staff were great but unfortunately they new nothing about the product that I was there inquiring about. I ended up buying it as bose were offering a 30 day trial money back guarentee. My husband and I had to inform the staff member that they were an approved bose reseller and that the 30 day trial could be done with purchasing the item through them. The staff member told us he had been sending customers away saying you have to buy the item through bose directly if you want that trial, maybe a little more training for new it3is required.

I would like to give 0 if I can. Totally horrible costumer service. The staff made a typo when entering my name on the tax invoice. He refused to admit that’s his mistake, but said nothing he can do and asked me to refer to online customer service. How ridiculous it is!! Then I waited my lens for two months and called them asking for estimated delivery time, the staff said they have no idea and they will message me when it’s in stock. Finally when I went to the store, a staff checked for me said they already got the stock but due to some system error they didn’t send the message to inform me. Don’t choose Doncaster Jb hifi plz.

This is now resolved by other team members. Thank you, guys! So I am happy to re-rate it to four stars. One star deducted for the poor performance of the original 3 team members. I purchased movies for 2 for $20 deal, 2 for $30 deal and 2 for $40 deal, but got charged $99.98 instead of $90. They wasted nearly half an hour, had three people looking at it, but couldn't give me refund due to system limitation. Also wouldn't cancel the order so I can get my money back and repurchase due to system limitation. Absolutely disappointing. Had to leave without resolution as time was late and babies were crying for sleep.

Horrible customer service.. first of all the my order was placed 3 days ago for a pick up but no sms or a email was sent from the store. And when my wife who is the authorized person person on the account went to pick up my order was harassed and was mistreated by the representative named Harrison. People who are untrained and are mentally unstable shouldn’t be allowed to work in public service roles. Immediate disciplinary action is required against this employee, he was extremely rude and unprofessional!!

NEVER SHOP HERE, be warned !!! The staff are liars: they’ll tell you anything to get your hard earned, saved cash ! The “return” or “exchange” policy is not consistent with Victorian consumer law, they will say or do anything to stop you Go across the road to Officeworks for anything tech, or the Good Guys in Nunawading for a TV etc. Spread the word on social media, to your friends and family… They’ll thank you Finally: If you like wasting your time waiting for no service, this is the place for you…

I went to Jb Hi-Fi Doncaster Westfield to pre-order IPhone 14 pro, the staff told me that they are not accepting the order if you are pay with Jb corporates gift cards. The order has to be done online, plus the additional delivery fee will be changed unavoidable. I don’t think this has been a pleasant experience towards customer, and it has not been once I have experienced. The staff are untrained properly, don’t know what they are doing some of them, they are arrogant, careless.

Had to upgrade as my old Samsung got dropped & permanently knocked out . Sam & a couple of other staff were outstanding. Splashed out on a Samsung Ultra 22 . Eventually went back 2 change plans & this where the other 2 staff were just sensational. A system upgrade & change on there side made it a very laborious situation 4 them & me . Not there fault . These things occur . Very busy store , so be patient & u will be well looked after . Thanks JB HI-FI .

Amazing service from Sean when I purchased a new phone/plan. He went over and above to assist me. Had delays porting from one service to another (not his fault). He checked every day and provided me with updates until my service was active, this was during the Xmas period when the store was busy from open until close. Amazing amazing service!!!! Also the security guard at the front of the store is delightful, she always tries to assist customers wherever she can!

Really grateful to have spent the time to actually understand something I bought in 2019 and was being told the wrong thing for years thinking my laptop was damaged, I just kept getting sold the wrong things and spending money when I didn't need to. I went there to get my laptop fixed but waited for over 20 minutes to get someone to come down even though another staff told me it’ll be about 5 minute wait. There were other staff that ignored us too. So when they had a person check my laptop they were rude and didn’t check the laptop properly and gave zero advice and then walked off. Instead I had to go to another branch which is in Forest Hill which they helped better than here

Staff are friendly and they try and help you , so that they can move on to the next customer. Seems that there isn't enough staff to cope with the demand, I watched people trying to get the attention of the sales assistant helping me on more than one occasion. Perhaps the reason that it is full of customers, (Covid Safe of course, there is a staff member at the door counting), the staff know their stuff and are willing to wait.

Good range, friendly staff, solid prices. You can't beat online, but this place comes the closest. My only advice would be to have more staff, and to put more stock on display. Mechanical keyboards, which mostly differ by touch and tactile feedback, were not on display for try which made my most recent purchasing decision difficult. This, however, is only a recommendation and not a criticism. All round, well done!

I went to Jb hi-fi doncaster to inquire regarding some of the issues with my faulty phone which is still in warranty. Nicole served me. She was unprofessional,abrupt and not helpful at all. I wanted someone with skills in handling phone issues and obviously she wasn't the right person to deal with. She was very reluctant to do so for whatever reason she's got. I went to Glen store and they were so helpful.

Great store, has everything you could ask for regarding Techware, games, phones etc... Staff are energized, quick and friendly. Always lots of stock for everything you pick but the only reason I'm not giving a 5 Star is because anything you buy from JB, you could get for 40% cheaper + better from for example Amazon or another online website. prices are expensive but product quality is top notch!

As with all JB Hi-Fi stores staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that there are never staff on the floor to answer questions. It may be a ploy as when you're already in the checkout queue you're probably more likely to buy the product compared to when the question is answered by a staff member on the floor!

Was just browsing but overheard a sales assistant talking to a couple about a tv and flat out lying to them. Said normal retail price was over $3000 for this so with the sale you will save $1000. However if you go on the JB website it states the normal rrp for that tv is $2500. So do your own research and never believe that the sales people tell you.

I've had positive experiences at this JB Hi-Fi store. It's consistently well-staffed and well-stocked. However, due to its popularity, it can get quite busy, making it a bit challenging to get one-on-one assistance from staff. Overall, it's a good store in the area, as long as you're prepared for a potentially crowded shopping environment.

Staff are really attentive, even when it's busy. If they are with another customer, they will acknowledge you, and either get another team member to help, or be with you as soon as they can. The option to get a receipt sent to your phone it great too. Saves having to try & dig around for it, if anything is wrong with your purchase.

But it took the staff 30 minutes to find them for me. The service speed could use some work. But Other than that the prices are reasonable.

Tiny store and always packed with people. Its near impossible to get assistance here and when you do the staff are short, sharp and sometimes sweet. If you know what you want this JB will do the trick but if you need to browse or get assistance find another retailer.
